Buyer Beware I stopped going here over 10 years ago and now I know why.  This company utilizes unscrupulous and avarice practices by stealthily adding extraneous fees without the knowledge of their respective clients.  They charged excess fees on my dental insurance for work that I did not need without consulting me.  This business only prioritizes money, as opposed to the health and well-being of its clients.  During my recent visit, they incessantly tried to ask if I needed additional services and I declined everything.  My teeth are healthy and I only went for a dental cleaning.  Please never use this business because they only want to augment their pockets materially by perilously risking our economic status.  It is a disgrace that this business consistently tries to rob it clients. First and foremost, I already called your office regarding this matter.  The response was vague and indifferent.  Regarding your reply today, you did not conduct due diligence regarding the mandates of my insurance company.  Furthermore, I have been to three other dental companies on and off, they always gleaned the appropriate data from my dental insurance of what was specifically covered by the patient.  Your company is a sham and greedy for money because you deliberately charged excess fees and services without my knowledge during the time of my exam.  I am simply trying to admonish people not to waste their time and money at an establishment that commits predatory practices. read more

I've been going to Bella Vista with Dr. B for about 8 years now. I can't say enough about the positive dental care improvement experience they provide. Every employee is kind, caring, welcoming, and polite. They will tell you the truth and offer expertise advice, even if it's hard to hear sometimes. They have provided top notch care for all of my dental concerns throughout the span of 8 years. Dr B is the best. Whenever I have an issue, Sharon is quick to answer my calls and find a solution. Every filling I've received has been sturdy and reliable. My retainers have lasted for 8 years. Sharon is VERY flexible with my schedule and she communicates upcoming appointments very well. This is the type of dentist office where you fall asleep in the chair because of the positive community aspect and they truly make me feel at home. As a kid, I hated going to my previous dentist's office. I enjoy going to my appointments at Bella Vista. Thank you for the past 8 years and more! They're in it to make a quick buck wherever they can, I was told I needed braces because of a slight cross bite and when I went to 2 other dentists for their opinion they said I don't need braces at all, also said I needed to add a filling to the end of one of my teeth because it was too short and that was also confirmed false. Bad experiences with billing, customer service, and the dentists themselves. I don't recommend them at all read more

Dr. Birch assistant had no clue on what her job responsibilities are. I have always had wonderful customer service in the past. Today was extremely disappointing. I really dread going to the dentist, but my experiences so far with these guys have been very good all around their office. I first had an issue with a crown coming off and they were able to work me in as a new patient the next day. They have been so friendly and accommodating and it is apparent that they care, so I wasn't nervous and didn't delay going back in for my cleaning and a filling. They were very thorough, in the cleaning and the comprehensive care of my oral health, and offered services I had not seen before that were health based and not just cosmetic up-sells like a prior practice I had gone to. I don't have any bills yet back from the Insurance, so I can't say how they are as far as fees, I'll repost after my filling. read more

Was very happy the first couple of times I went there. The next appointment I was supposed to have a crown replaced. On the day of the appointment I woke up with the flu and called several hours ahead to cancel. The receptionist was rude and gave me a hard time about canceling. I would never had cancelled if it wasn't for a good reason. I never went back again. Last week I went to a new dentist for a cleaning. The hygienist found a huge piece of packing thread behind a tooth Bella Vista had done a crown on about a year and a half ago. They had not removed it when they seated the crown apparently. I now have a huge hole in my gum behind the tooth that is very painful and inflamed. read more

I have been to chain dental practices as well as small town family dentist's and Bella Vista Dental definitely ranks on the good end of the spectrum. The dentists and hygienists are friendly, the office is clean and inviting (as much as a dentist's office can be) and I feel like they don't try to up-sell you on procedures you don't need. I had a dentist recommend a full mouth recalibration once which would have involved something like $18,000 worth of tooth and jaw modification for my bite being like 4 mm off-center - ridiculous! You won't get that here. Bella Vista would get five stars if we didn't regularly have to wait 15-20 minutes before we get called back after checking in. Hard to manage with small children. Yesterday I was called right back though so maybe they are working on that. read more

Caring, gentle, courteous, and professional. Just how I want my dental office to be. The whole staff is great.

This was my first visit and I love the kindness at this dental office, but I originally scheduled just a cleaning. First, my x-rays should have been there prior to my appointment. I did make sure my old dentist was going to send them but they didn't. And they were not verified you had received them, till I was in the dental chair. Second, I think my dental assistant was trying to make diagnosis' that the Dentist should have done. I went in there for a cleaning and she looked at my xrays and said I needed a deep cleaning and proceeded to clean my teeth in preparation for that service which was just cleaning the hard particles off. So I feel I didn't get much of a cleaning. And, I'm not having deep cleaning done till have my cavity and fillings are redone. This was determined after the dentist came in. So I feel kind jipped that I didn't get the service that I requested. Also, I have NEVER EVER been to a dental office that did not bush and floss my teeth after any type of cleaning. I did not have this done at the end of my appointment. I was about to leave when my mouth did not feel very clean from all the particle taste still left in my mouth. Not to mention my gums do bleed. So I had to ask for mouth wash. I hope that my next appointment is much better, otherwise, I will look for another dentist. read more

Due to traumatic event which occurred while active duty, I have a crippling fear of the dentist. To the point I've neglected dental care for about 9-years. I'm not going to lie; I only tried Bella Vista because I was experiencing a dental emergency and had no choice but to seek out care. Due to the emergent nature of the issue I was seen within a few hours, provided care, and scheduled in again the following week. Much to the surprise of my co-workers (who had started a pool) I actually showed up at the dentist today, for part 2 of a root canal and crown. Honest to God, I didn't feel a thing; I felt a vibration, but no part of my visit hurt. When other healthcare professionals tell you a dentist is good ( "really really good"), he is. Dr. B is just "nice" and kind and I'm so happy to have a dentist now. I'm actually going back to get another tooth worked on...it doesn't even hurt yet! Now that's telling as to how good they are. read more
