I have no record of any outreach from Toothology. However, I do have multiple emails--more than four--showing that I have been requesting a follow-up with no response from Toothology. Since my teeth will continue to shift, I am again requesting that Toothology reimburse my orthodontic care or cover the treatment so my new dentist can correct what was not done properly. Everyone is very nice. It is clean and they are "knowledgeable". Interesting as I had 3 cavities and they quoted me $5000 dollars WITH insurance. I was in tears and nobody made an effort to alleviate my stress or concern instead I felt as if I was being pitched and sold on their payment plan through, I believe it is called Cherry? To sum up, I was able to visit my previous dentist expecting to pay out of pocket as they don't take my insurance. WITHOUT insurance I was charged $275 in and out. I was extremely disappointed that Toothology confirmed my beliefs that many businesses in the dental field do not care about their patients and simply want to rob them blind. DO BETTER. I'm very disappointed with my experience at Tootology. Before scheduling my appointment, I specifically asked whether they accepted my insurance, and I was assured they did. They even told me they re-confirmed it the morning of my visit. Despite that, I was later hit with a large unexpected bill. Their pricing also seems significantly higher than other dentists I've visited for routine services. Even a simple cleaning was overpriced, and I felt pressured to take additional X-rays even though I had recent X-rays done just a few months ago. It came across as an attempt to upcharge rather than provide honest care. Overall, I left feeling misled and taken advantage of, and I would not recommend this office based on my experience. read more

It is not a comfortable/clean environment and I feel like the dentist is just recommending things that you don't necessarily need. I've had a clean record with infrequent dental work over the last 15 years. I had one cleaning with Toothology and was recommended for 3 crowns, a cavity re-fill and removal of my wisdom teeth. Be careful!!! I also don't feel like they clean and sanitize between patients because they handed me a pair of dirty glasses from another patients room and I had to ask for them to be cleaned. No mouthwash after the cleaning. I went here because my previous dentist was getting too expensive to be out of network and Toothology accepted my insurance but I will likely go back to another more expensive dentist due to the experience. Went to Toothology for my dental cleaning yesterday and they never disappoint! I have been going here since about 2017 and they always take such great care of me & my teeth. Yesterday I was jetting out of work when I realized my navigation said I was going to be about 5 minutes late, so I gave them a call to which they were very understanding and just told me to get there safely! The front desk is always very kind & welcoming every time you step through the door! I saw Dr. Kostyack & Brenda for my teeth cleaning which was the first time I had either of them.. all of the staff is very helpful and seem to work as a solid team! I appreciated how thorough my cleaning was & how they addressed all of my concerns.. I have had my retainers for a very long time which has caused them to become worn & they were able to pull my records and order me new ones that day which was very much appreciated that they care for my smile as much as I do to keep them straight! I also asked the doctor about a tooth I've had trouble flossing in between and she fixed the issue during my cleaning! In between the great job, we also shared a couple stories and laughs which I'm sure doesn't happen a lot in the dental chair.. Overall, I was very satisfied with my service & would always recommend :) Oh & don't forget the fluoride at the end, Brenda will make sure you get every last drop of your moneys worth plus it's good for your teeth Lastly, I want to say this because it's very helpful for those WITHOUT DENTAL INSURANCE.. I'm covered now, but in the past I did not have it! Toothology offers yearly affordable plans so you can get your teeth cleaned and looked at at a reasonable cost.. I always recommend it to friends that say they don't have dental insurance, because I found it really helpful when I didn't have any in college but wanted to keep my teeth healthy! I can't comment on there quality of work they perform but I can tell you I was assisting my son who is special needs choose this office. Since we initially scheduled I have received 6 texts (2 of them threatening the $100 charges for no show) come on now this type of appointment confirmation is nonsense! If they treat you like this before your even a onboarded patient why would I want to sit in chair? When I called to cancel the receptionist was nice until I told her why I was canceling, she abruptly stated your appointment is cancelled and hung up on me. No apology and definitely not interested or referring me to any other person who may have cared. Not a good beginning to retain or make patients confident or valued. From the moment I made my appointment over the phone I knew I was going to have an awesome experience. Rhonda was super nice and very thorough with what my visit was going to be like. When my coworker and I walked in Rhonda gave us a warm welcome. She offered us refreshments and let us know she would get us in shortly. Not even 5 minutes later and they called us back. Everyone was super friendly and thorough with what they were doing and what needed to be done, I really appreciated that. My husband and I have been going to Toothology for the past 2 years and decided to stop. After moving from CA, we gave them a try based on other good Yelp reviews. At first, we had a great experience! The staff is all very friendly and the facility is clean and welcoming. However every time we have had an appointment over the last 2 years, we were being sold on something else we needed to do or buy. Given that both of us have had a long history of really healthy teeth and gums, we started to realize we were constantly being upsold. We have since changed dentistry practices and have yet to be told we need anything other than our standard dental care. I would be cautious about what you purchase and do your research before making a decision on their suggestions. read more

I religiously go to the dentist for my biannual cleaning, 6 months ago when I went to my appointment for my cleaning it went great and the staff complimented me on how great my teeth looked. Fast forward to this past January when I went to my appointment for my cleaning and the temporary dentist tells me that I have FOUR cavities!!! I was completely mortified since I am not cavity prone and have only had a few in my entire life. I asked him if he was 100% sure and I explained to him (the temp dentist) that my previous cleaning which was only 6 months prior was ZERO cavities (same office). The dentist was very confident in his findings and even went as far as to show me the teeth in question... I asked if this could just be staining and he assured me this was not the case. I started feeling a bit nervous about this analysis and asked my daughters pediatric dentist what he thought about the situation. He said that he does not know my teeth history or has seen the X-rays but he would get a 2nd opinion based on my history I shared with him about my teeth health. Fast forward to today when I went to my appointment with a different dentist in order to get a second opinion- and guess what ?!!! Do you think I have 1, 2, 3 or 4 cavities ? If you guessed ZERO than you would have guessed correctly. What a fraudulent thing to do- and they were really quick to take my 75.00 deposit for the fillings too, amazing how I would have blindly had 4 teeth drilled for "cavities" that were not even there. This teaches me to listen to my gut and get a 2nd opinion of something that seems so off. I am sincerely disgusted that this type of fraudulent behavior occurs but even worse, we aren't talking about 1 even 2 cavities, we are talking about 4 cavities that were completely fabricated. Here's where it gets strange:: I was told I'm no longer in the system and they would call me back. No one ever calls back so I make a trip to the office. What I learn next is front office was replaced with all new staff office manager and all. They tell me to find a new dentist. Owner Aaron states he refunded me all my money from all dental visits. However that is a lie-He hasn't refunded anything not even the crown mishap. I've never been treated so bad by a individual that won't have direct contact with me to resolve issue. A professional would communicate over the phone or in person. He keeps on saying I'm threatening but I've never made a threat or abusive language. It was like a timeshare presentation, and it went on for 2 hours. Took like an hour to do x-rays, and they have a freeking pano sitting right there. Like save me an hour and use the panoramic x-ray... They try to sell you all kinds of treatment plans, fine they aren't the only dentists that are all about the money. Dr. Ngo was a nice guy though, you could tell that they are a corporate chop shop though so he has rules and sales quotas to meet. I knew that there was no way I would set foot in there again, yet they scheduled a follow up hygiene appointment time without even asking me to check my calendar. I went in to have a molar fixed, filled out the paperwork, took x-rays and then sat in a chair for 2 hours while I waited for the receptionists to run my insurance. After the two hours was up, guess what, they can't help. My insurance is excellent and valid, unfortunately I cannot say the same for Toothology. Plenty of other outstanding dentists in the area willing to make their patients feel taken care of. Update: Spent 20 minutes at Life Smiles with the same insurance and was able to be seen the same day. One thing I can say about Toothology is that they do have a wide variety of tv shows and movies to watch while you wait. Had the pleasure of being able to finish a movie while I waited! read more

I needed to see a dentist this past weekend for an infection, but Biltmore is closed on the weekend so I was directed to their sister office - Toothology. And my first visit was so awesome that it couldn't have gone better. The front desk receptionist, Shelly, made me feel like I was visiting with family. She IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! By the time the actual Dentist, Aaron Roberts saw me, I was completely calm. I'll just say this - Biltmore has some competition. I don't have a fear of the dentist. I just didn't grow up with it being important. I finally decided to use my dental insurance and be a grown up and get my mouth fixed. I would recommend this office because the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. As one of the weekend patients, every time I have shown up, all of the staff members have greeted me by name and have made me feel welcomed. Shelly has been more than helpful in figuring out what my benefits covered and what my co-pays are before any treatment has been completed. I had to get an SRP cleaning done and my teeth have been as healthy as they have been in years. No sensitive on my teeth and no blood while brushing. I've been very happy with results and the staff. Only thing I would 'warn' anyone about, is that the shopping plaza traffic can be kind of hectic. But the location is great and there are trolleys provided by the city that stop in front of it both north/south and east/west directions. :) read more

The staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful! I am more afraid of the dentist than anyone I know and they took great care of my teeth. The dental hygienist spent at least an hour cleaning carefully and providing cleaning tips, while the doctor did a great job of giving me an honest assessment for my interest in veneers. Rather than telling me to just get veneers, she suggested that I see an orthodontist again so that I don't spend the money on veneers only to risk chipped porcelain over time. It was time for me to find a new dentist. After waiting too long, I was recommended by a friend to visit Toothology. My experience was excellent. Dr. Hall was very professional but also is easy going and thoughtful. Tiana, was very knowledgeable and really cared about my comfort. I also had a deep cleaning with Angel. I've had many cleanings before but she was the best. Very thorough but gentle. They all did a great job of explaining what was happening, showing me pictures and X-rays and letting me know my options. They were all so accommodating. Very nice dental office located near Sprouts grocery store. The staff at the front is very friendly and welcoming. They have bottled water for patients in the front as well. The dental hygenists seemed to do a great job cleaning and even had sunglasses so you don't have to stare at the lights in the ceilings like I have experienced at dental offices in the past. They have fluoride treatments which is good for most to do after and isn't very costly. If you need a new dentist check out this place. read more

Dr. Hall and Paulina were amazing. Not only does my tooth not hurt anymore, I had the most gentle pain free Novocain shot I have ever had! Everyone was just the sweetest in the office, from the minute I walked in to the moment I left. I absolutely hate writing negative reviews but I feel like with something like your teeth, it's important for others to know beforehand. I'm only giving 2 stars because my dentist and staff were friendly and genuinely nice but the actual dental practice I don't believe should even see patients. I feel like whoever is running the place is money hungry, the experiences I had here felt like going in for an oil change, up sell up sell up sell, and I'm in sales!! I think it's also important to know I've had TONS of dental work done, spent a way larger than normal amount of time in dental and ortho offices in my lifetime and I've also had cosmetic dentistry done so immediately when this dentist was telling me things completely opposite of what I've been told my entire life, red flags were raised. There is a laundry list of things they said I needed, deep cleaning, extra over expensive fluoride, to remove a baby tooth and do an implant (I already have 2 implants previously that both were less than what they quoted me for 1 tooth), cavities every single appointment (and I've never had more than maybe 3 cavities total in my entire life). One appointment I had to go in to get a "cavity" filled and it was a stand in dentist, I swear she had to be a dentist in training because this appointment took 2 hours and it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing and it was extra painful. So I finally got a new dentist and got a second opinion, took my list of things to them and there was 0 concern for any of them, no cavities, no reason to pull a perfectly healthy baby tooth, no need for deep cleaning, perfectly healthy teeth - what I've been told my entire life. My new dentist even said their treatments plans were "overly aggressive." I would not recommend this practice to anyone, I do not trust their recommendations and do not believe they have any integrity when it comes to their patients and treatment plans. read more

This place is a total scam. I went in because it's close to my house and they were advertising $49 cleanings. Well, I never got a cleaning. It was just a way to get me in to up-sell me. I was told that my gums were seriously diseased and would require a $1500 deep cleaning. I was told this gum disease posed a risk to my overall health if I didn't get the cleaning. I also came in to address what I thought was some enamel that was chipped off my front teeth. I was told my bite was causing my teeth to grind, and the only way to permanently fix it was to get braces. Of course they offered to take molds of my teeth for a very steep price. I went back to my old dentist for a second opinion. He said I had some minor gingivitis but nothing to worry about. No $1500 cleaning needed. And the chipped enamel on my front teeth? They're both cavities. There's nothing wrong with my bite. So not only did this dentist miss two entire cavities, she suggested I get braces to fix something that was never broken. And my old dentist managed to tell me all this at my cleaning, where someone actually cleaned my teeth! Toothology said they could put the $49 cleaning fee toward my $1500 deep cleaning. I had my own cleaning a few days later and ended up getting my filling with Dr. Jeziorski. The filling was quick & painless. I broke my tooth about 3 weeks ago and I did not seek immediate attention, due to not having dental insurance. Soon after I started experiencing excruciating pain along with an infection. I called up several dental offices with hopes to get quick attention. I have to be honest with everyone, financially it was very hard for me to come up with emergency funds. Fortunately, everyone at Toothology went way above and beyond. They offered every kind of financial solution including Care Credit. After the efforts of all the staff, I was ready for the tooth extraction. Surprisingly, the procedure was quick and painless. DR. Mooney took extra care with the whole procedure. I felt compelled to write a review after my experience. I came here because of the great reviews on yelp and it was accepted by my insurance. I showed up about early and didn't have to wait very long. The receptionist told me that I was the last teeth clean of the day with two hygienist and the dentist. Once I was taken back to the cleaning chair, it took an hour for the hygienist to take my x-rays. I don't fully blame her, but their equipment could use some upgrading. I've never had x rays take a full hour, usually the entire visit with the clean and doctor visit takes an hour. After the x-rays, the hygienist had not been properly trained on the computer program so that took terribly long. The other hygienist didn't have a patient and should have helped her. The clean itself felt rushed. They didn't know what was covered by my insurance (fluoride, etc). Then the doctor came in and took 1 minute to look at my teeth. I told them I was late to an appointment one hour in and I didn't get out of their office until over 90mins from my appointment start. I am usually a fan of going to the dentist, but will not be back. read more
