We are frequently visiting No Name mainly for the Meat Head pizza which is awesome. This last time we were greeted at the door by Popeye who was an exceptionally friendly and helpful. A semi random spot was well worth going a little off the beaten path. We were on our way to key west, as one is want to do. I had a spot tagged for years and I wasn't 100% sure why, but we drove up and off the main drag to check out No Name Pub. I didn't know later but we got lucky it wasn't a popular time of day. we pop in and got a table right away. When we walked in it took a minute for the eyes to adjust to the darker interior. after that minute though things came into vision. tens of thousands of dollar bills were attached to all walls and ceiling. Since we didn't know this was going to be, it was surprising. next to our table one bill was dated just a couple days before. I realized that along the wall many of the bills were a second layer of bills even. pretty cool. Our drinks were out pretty quick and then our sandwiches soon after. It was good drinks, pretty darn good food. But the out of the way vibe was solid. There isn't a lot of other options right around this part of the keys, so its easily the best spot I have seen in those parts. read more

We decided to go here because of the name and proximity of this place. The ambiance was definitely lacking but everyone enjoyed their food.

The key lime pie tasted like pure whipped cream with a hint of a hint of key lime, and it came out lukewarm. The fish dip itself was delicious but the crackers you get to dip in it are still-wrapped soup crackers. It was very off putting and not worth the price tag. read more

Nice place for visitors to enjoy. Everyone enjoys seeing the dollar bills stapled to everything. Unfortunately over the past few years the pizza it was famous for declined and for the most part isn't special anymore. It was the best a one time believe me. You can get pizza any many places in big pine key that is just as good for nearly half the price and you get to eat it with real forks and knives. It's basically a tourist trap now. Had a chance to stop here in late August on a business trip. The service was great. This place is very unique as the walls inside are covered with $1 bills. The waiter felt bad for me. I asked for lemonade, which is refillable, but after drinking just one cup, they ran out, so I had water the rest of the time there. Nothing to stress about. They claimed to have the best pizza in the world, which later became a theme in that area. The pizza was piping hot but so good! I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in Key West. read more

We had lunch at No Name Pub on Big Pine Key, it was a wonderful lunch! We both had Kentucky Bourbon Burgers, they were large, cooked just right, and tasted delicious. The homemade fries are something special. The No Name beer was ice cold and so smooth and tasty. We sat at the bar, Abby the bartender is the sweetest, the service was top notch! Our family's long standing tradition is to come down to the Keys for lobster season which we have been doing for over 27 years. No Name Pub has always been a favorite, but after our experience tonight we will not be back. It's mini lobster season week...meaning it's a huge week for the tourism industry for the Keys. We drove down from Marathon and pulled up to NNP at 8:30 like we always do and were told they were no longer seating people even though it says they are open until 10. So many inside were equally as unhappy. A restaurant full of unhappay, dissatisfied customers is what they now have. Under the newer ownership, it's so sad what this place has become. I would suggest people find places that still have a heart for catering to lobsterers who are faithful visitors year in and year out. This place just makes me sad now. read more

We had a weird experience. Walked up to the door saw a sign that said wait for hostess. So, we did. She eventually came out and said "go around back and wait". Another couple was already there, said they had been there for 20 min and the hostess never came out. Finally she did and said "I can seat you at the bar" They said fine and went in, she never said a word to us. So, we wait for 15 min and started noticing cars pulling in the parking lot and people walking going in through an unmarked entrance on the other side of the building. That's when we left. This was a Tuesday late afternoon. I know it's a small place, but they weren't having any problems seating the people from the other parking lot when she knew we were out there? 30 min & no update, apology etc It really felt like they only wanted locals, not out of towners. This is a keys landmark and a must visit every time we visit the keys. No name pub, on no name key is just a short drive off the main drag on pine island key and worth the detour. Most days you'll spot key deer on your way out there, and you'll never be disappointed by their food. They are famous for their pizza; we always order extra to take with us for leftovers! It's not as hard to find as they say. And it's not too far off of US1. And it has a name..."No Name." And you should visit. We come to Key West every year and had never taken the time to visit this spot. Shame on us. We didn't eat this time, but the food did look great. The guy next to us ordered wings and they looked great. We just had a couple beers to see the place and now we can't wait to come back. The endangered Key Deer we're hanging out in the parking lot. It was very cool to see them and get some pics. They're tiny and definitely not afraid of you. The eclectic vibe of this place along with the history make it a great stop. There has to be hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of ones stapled to walls and ceilings (I didn't have time to actually count). The bar stools are awkwardly tall for short people and the wooden bar itself has clearly been there for years. I'd love to hear it's stories. read more

We went out of our way to find this place yesterday on our way back from Stock Island because a friend recommended it. It's been around since 1936, which in South Florida means it's been through some stuff! (In the late 30's it even included a brothel!) The inside is dark and a bit dingy and an incredibly tight fit, but they have an outdoor patio in the back that's roomy and cheery and shaded. (They don't even let you inside to take your name, you have to wait outside because there's no room for a host stand.) Despite it being 90 degrees, it was cool on the patio and I didn't sweat while eating. We started with their Homemade Smoked Fish dip, which was hands down the best one I've ever had anywhere. It's made with fresh yellowfin tuna, which is the star of the dish. Nothing overshadows the fish and it's not drowning in mayonnaise. Their side salad was incredibly fresh and plentiful. My wife had their beer battered fish and chips, which she said were perfect. The batter was light (although it looked a little oily to me) and you could easily slide out the fish if you wanted a little less. Their waffle fries were a novelty for me. They're basically a thin oval of deep fried potato (no waffle pattern to be found anywhere). We brought home some leftovers and the verdict is still out. They do have a legitimate potato flavor, but I'm not sure I'm sold. I'm going to reheat for lunch and try them with my favorite topping (sour cream) and we'll see how it goes. I had their Carribean Chicken (marinated chicken strips & green onions) Pub Pizza and it was delicious! Savory, with a slightly doughy and crisp crust, and well seasoned chicken. (They offer a thin crust if you prefer.) My only complaint is that it's a little saucy on top. I think they stir fry or saute the chicken they use and then throw it on the pizza, which adds a bit of sauce, but it was NOT a dealbreaker for me. Their pink lemonade was excellent (designated driver obviously) and my wife really liked their No Name Amber Ale. Not too bitter or sweet, which could also be said for my pink lemonade! Their key lime pie was very, very, good. Obviously no artifical flavors or colors with the perfect balance of tart and sweet. We even brought back a piece for my mother-in-law. (Dog sitting has its rewards!) As to why I gave it four stars instead of five...I hate eating with plastic utensils and off of paper plates. Also, although the server warmed up after a bit, it's not the friendliest service I've ever had. On the flip side, you get an interesting bit of Florida history with your meal and you're pretty much guaranteed to see endangered Key Deer in the area. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE. I was so excited to visit No name Pub again since I haven't been there in years, we walk in and had to use the restroom from the drive. Our daughter face timed us so we walked onto the patio to answer her call. The first server told us patio was closed but it was ok to take the face time out there. The second server very rudely came out to tell us patio was closed, we told her we knew we were just trying to talk to our 2 year old. The third server opens the door and throws the tray at the trash can and misses food goes everywhere. She tells us we aren't allowed to be out there and that she was going to vacuum and we would no longer be able to hear our daughter on the phone. We left without ordering food because of how rude the staff were. So disappointed. We are Florida natives and keys regulars. I won't ever go back to this establishment. read more

You have to understand that this is a dive bar serving well above average food and if you go in knowing this- you will love it. It is a little off the beaten path but well worth the visit. My father has been coming here for years and always tells me how wonderful it is. After a long day of off-shore fishing in Islamorada, we had to drive to key west to check into our hotel. We were hot, sweaty, tired and ready to sit and relax after a long day on the water. On a whim, I suggested this place and we decided to give it a go. It was around 3:45pm on a a Friday on June 26, 2021. We arrived and had a 10 minute wait for a table. I was just happy to be there, as we saw a key deer on our way to the restaurant! We were seated inside at a table across from the bar. The walls and posts and all surroundings are covered in $1 bills. We loved it already. This was our kind of place. Janet, our server, was quick to greet us and super nice. She brought us our waters and beer. The beer is served in small 8 oz plastic cups- so be prepared to order more than one. They will bring out paper plates and utensils. All of which is fine with us. We ordered the fish dip- as suggested by our server (and my father). It was THE BEST WE HAVE EVER EATEN. And we have tried it everywhere. Order 2 orders! I don't usually eat fish dip, as I'm not a fan, but this was amazing. You must try this! Next up- we tried the pizza since they are know for it. My order was the cheeseburger pizza (personal) and it was fantastic! I would go out of my way to get this again! I ate the WHOLE THING it was so good. My husband loved his shrimp pizza too! My son got the Kentucky Bourbon Burger and he loved it also- and it was perfectly cooked medium. The table next to us saw my sons burger get delivered to the table and he changed his order. The surprise on my sons dish was the fries- they are sliced thick round slices of potato. We all enjoyed a few of his! Janet continued to be wonderful during our dinner- checking on us frequently and refilling our drinks quickly. Since it was our first time, I asked Janet about the dollars and she said we could decorate and hang some. She gave me change for a $5 I had and brought me out a tray with markers and a staple gun. I had fun decorating a dollar and hanging it up on the wall! She told us they have never taken any down and during Irma they just dried them and pressure washed areas of the restaurant because the water came up the bar almost! I highly recommend you come check out this place- even with the less than fantastic rating it has on Yelp. I am here to tell you it is a great place, with friendly people and awesome food. Definitely a more local joint nestled in Big Pine Key, so clearly it's gonna be a good one!! Driving there it does really feel like you're going nowhere or the wrong way, but once you find it, what neat place! The indoor, more pub-y part has dollar bills stapled up everywhere, along with patches, and it's really cool, it makes you truly feel like you're off the beaten path in the best way. They have a back courtyard as well, which is where we sat. We didn't get anything crazy for food, just some salads and soups, but it was still fantastic. The caesar salad was classically good, and wayy bigger than it looks in the picture. It's basically two bowls worth of salad, so it will actually fill you up. The lobster bisque was-- chefs kiss! Creamy, chunky, and lovely! The conch chowder was great too, I was super impressed even just with their soups! We decided to try a key lime pie slice too, of course, and theirs is more of a whipped cream version. I didn't mind it, and the whipped texture is actually pretty satisfying to eat, but it just didn't seem limey enough and knowing it is supposed to be key lime pie I do just prefer the custard kind, but if you're looking for a change up this is definitely the one to try. Also, I know it's called "No Name" but there's 2 names I NEED to mention- Timmy our waiter was the best, so friendly and enjoyable, and Abbie one of the other workers was a doll too!
