This is a quaint and very artistic coffee shop.I loved the art that was exhibited throughout the store. To me, my opinion, the food was over- priced. There is such a wide selection of food choices for such a small space. I felt rushed and hurried because there were so many people waiting to be seated and to be helped. There wasn't enough seating inside but plenty outside, but it was raining. The wait time for your did it drink isn't long, that's a plus, if you're there to pick up and NOT sit then that's the way you go. I will say that the Caramel Machioto was SUPERB! Will I visit again? I was a party of two, but witnesses 4 big tops serves effortlessly. 10 top / 12 top / 8 top / 20 top Mule specialty drink, served in a mason jar, would have been better if the limes haded turned. My friend had the shrimp pesto and I went for the shrimp and grits. Bock dishes were good but not great. Shrimp could have been seared or seasoned better. Volume is being used to make up for a bit more attention to salt and seasoning. The corn fritter appetizer and flight desserts were the stars. Get them. Love them. Eat them. Again. Good casual breakfast spot to visit if you're in the area! I ordered a vanilla iced latte and the breakfast wrap with sausage and a side of fruit. The fruit side was small but had an interesting variety of dragonfruit, melon and oranges. I liked that the wrap contained pimento cheese - it was perfectly melty and paired well with the peppers and onions. I wasn't a huge fan of the sausage inside - it seemed to be a frozen patty broken up into pieces. I would try it with bacon next time. Latte was good! My partner had an iced coffee and the steak and eggs breakfast wrap. The steak was the shredded steak you'd get on a Philly cheese steak and I thought it was tasty. We shared the raspberry & white chocolate scone and while delicious, I would have preferred it a little less sweet. My husband loved it but he has a bigger sweet tooth than I do. Coffee is amazing. Staff is friendly. All the food I have tried is delicious and restaurant quality. Much better than you would expect.

There is just a lot about this place that I like. The clientele is diverse so it's a great place to people watch. There are a lot of specialty drinks and food items but I seem to always end up with an iced latte or a drip coffee. I often meet friends here to catch up and the environment is cozy and inviting. They do have patio seating that I need to try out. This place is worth the hardship of the constant construction going on in the area. read more

First time visiting this place with my friend yesterday and we LOVED their food and drinks!! The staff was kind and the location was clean and had pretty cool decorations!! For drinks we had the "Strawberry Shawty" and the "Blueberries & Cream." As for the food, I got this steak and eggs wrap and my friend got the chicken and waffles!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I love this place for coffee, and the owner very nice guy, but today ordered and paid for a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit, and they forgot the sausage. I did tell and show the young lady at the counter who offered to get a sausage Patti cooked. but unfortunately too late as the egg would have been cold. Excellent place for coffee, tea, and breakfast! We have ordered takeout from here several times. It is easy to place an order online and then pick up about 10-15 minutes later. You can either pick it up inside or they will bring it to your car. Delivery is also an option. The employees and customers are wearing masks. We have ordered: Ugly Sampler - my favorite as it is delicious and packed with food. The yogurt is amazing. Breakfast tacos - okay, not a favorite Wafflewich - okay, I did not know what to expect but it is way too sweet for me for a breakfast sandwich Caramelized brown sugar toast - AMAZING, highly recommend trying this and we will likely order it again Chicken Biscuit - good Coffee - they make great coffee. This was my first time trying this place it's a little tucked away from the main road but was still easy to find. You just order your food and drinks and they give you a number to take then they'll bring the food to you. The prices are pretty decent I would say. I got a mimosa with my breakfast which was $5. I tried the ugly sampler which came with a waffle cut into 4 pieces, 2 eggs , choice of bacon or sausage and yogurt with strawberries on top. I added strawberries to my waffle which was an additional $1. This place does get busy so inside seating is hard to come by but there was plenty of tables outside. I've tried the iced buck wild, it was too sweet for me. I tried the iced caffe latte with oat milk and caramel and it was fantastic! All times I have been on, which are a Friday, Saturday and, Sunday morning are always extremely busy. Of the 3 time I've visited, two times I ordered online. The pickup time is always prompt and they don't add the ice until you arrive so that your drink isn't watery which is appreciated! read more

While it is 25 mins from my house, I think I found a coffee place to call my own. They have a great drink menu with fun names like the funky monkey, Mr. Wonderful and Bitter Brit. I got the Drewbrewski which is white mocha, vanilla and toasted marshmallow but I subbed the vanilla with caramel. It was very good and would definitely get it again. I also got a salted caramel brownie and it was so good. Super moist and the perfect balance of sweet and salty. This is a definite must if you stop in here. They also serve breakfast items, sandwiches, salads and other desserts. Will definitely be back and hope to check them out for brunch one weekend. read more

I LOVE supporting local owned small businesses. This one was a fantastic place to enjoy our brunch. Not to mention excellent customer service, every one was super friendly. This is mainly why I give it 5 stars because of it being so trendy unique. It's a coffee shop that serves your everyday breakfast and lunch specials. If it was up to me I could've had breakfast or lunch here the whole time I was out here. (I'm originally from NYC) The first thing I had to taste was their coffee (hence the name) so I ordered a caramel iced latte with cream NOT milk , and it had to be the best tasting latte. I also ordered waffles with eggs that came with a strawberry Parfait, and I must say that everything was extremely delicious! Also the chicken biscuits should've won a Nobel peace prize. Just a few tips: 1. use a thermometer when steaming. I've had everything from lukewarm to scalding hot, Where I couldn't taste anything for 2 days after burning my tongue. 135-140 F is the norm. 2. Cute little coffee shop tucked away in Garner. Not only do they have creative holiday inspired drinks (Chider, half cider half chai.... yumm!) but also have good eats. They had a selection of pastries such as muffins and breads but also a good menu with salad and sandwiches. I tried the bruschetta. It had a great flavor and used the good balsamic glaze. You tried this location out last week having moved from Raleigh to Clayton. We like to sometimes get out in the morning and try new coffee spots the ugly mug proved to be pretty amazing we ordered we got our number we sat down and a few moments later, our coffee was brought to us and our sandwiches, for the first time being there it was a great experience. I would like to come here again and try out the other listed options on their menu (like the Mugshot sandwich that my husband ordered and didn't share with me... "Thanks" Jack). I found this location on Yelp while visiting one of my close friends in Clayton. We spend the night in NC before our beach trip down to Myrtle. I ordered their chicken and waffle and was informed of the 15 min wait. It came after our table's order and I will admit that I was sadly disappointed. It was a chicken patty on top of two smaller waffles. It did come with two different dipping sauces (the syrup and a bbq flavored one). I wouldn't recommend this dish for those coming out of town. I'd like to give this another try whenever we are in the area again and will be ordering the mugshot sandwich.
