I had dropped off an itchy and smelling-like-dead-fish, shaggy ragamuffin of a dog at whom park snobs would point and snicker, "what kinda --doodle's THAT?" That's why I didn't recognize Tallulah when she emerged from Camille's salon so brushed up and out, her Afro puff bouncing with her every prance, that on the way home a dog-walker ran up to me and gushed, "what a gorgeous Portuguese Water Dog! She's obviously a show dog." This morning, when I chaperoned Tallulah on her "promenade through the park", I felt like I should have dressed up, with a top hat--and maybe a monocle--but definitely a walking stick with a huge gem on its handle.' Who needs that? It's a hassle and I hold Camille completely responsible for sculpting Tallulah into this attention-demanding diva. Her new stans would be mortified to discover Tallulah's nothing but a dolled-up bernedoodle with heady airs and a shiny coat. All that aside, Camille is a talented groomer who always makes Tallulah look and smell wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone, although not to everyone because it's already hard enough to get an appointment with her.

I was able to completely relax on my vacation knowing that my cats were getting the food/water/clean litter/attention that they deserve. She gave me an update after every visit and even took pics for me. She also didn't make any decisions without running it by me first. OJ didn't need insulin for one of the visits and she confirmed with me first before making any decisions. If that were someone else, they probably would have given him insulin anyway even if his sugar was too low, which would have endangered his life. She's simply amazing! And she cares! She knows what she's doing and her attention to detail is something that anyone with a cat with special needs requires. No need to worry because she knows what she's doing! They are amazing and I wish I remembered their names. They are extremely pleasant, understanding and caring with Obi. They made his first groom experience so good that he was no longer nervous when he came back for his second. They two ladies were extremely informative and went through everything and even gave some advice with some of our questions. (The cheese chew saved us!). The tiny place is located close to the scarborough town centre in the base of a condo and full disclosure, it honestly wasn't the easiest to find and the parking situation was a bit of an issue with only one dedicated spot. I was pleasently surprised how clean and inviting this little shop was and it had all the necessary equipment to do all sorts of pet grooming services. I escpeciallye appreciated how they had dedicated days for cats and dogs so there is no potential altercations between the cats and dogs. There were 2 girls that worked on my cat. They were both very nice and knowledgable about pets. Thy handled my cat gently and knew when to take a break from the shaving based on how my cat was handling the situation. They gave my cat a haircut and clipped her nails and hey whole package took about 1.5 hrs. Bonus is they gave some treats after the appointment was done which was a nice touch. Im very happy to have found this place, now that I know where to go and I will definately use Pawny Tail my cat grooming needs.
