Shotgun pellet in the duck, so I got a shot of schnapps on the house
    Joseph D.

We arrived early for our reservation, but enjoyed the warmth inside and had cocktails by the bar before we were seated. All the dishes were good. The squid was innovative, never having them as noodles. The duck was perfectly cooked too. The table next to us and I both had a shotgun pellet in our mallard. We alerted our waiter and both got a shot of house made schnapps on the house. Worth it? Haha sure. The pear sorbet finished the meal with a smile. I hate to say this, but No. 2 is a fitting name. It's located amongst businesses and out of the way from locals. Think of them as a place for execs to unwind or make a big impression for a first date.

Lovely place and great food. Especially love that it's a place that you can chat properly without worrying about bothering others (ie volume). Service was great and staffs are friendly! The meal was overall great, and for the price, you can't ask for more. We had the Evening 6 menu, and were overall quite satisfied. The source was a little lacking on one of the dishes but I think it's just up to personal preference. Certainly a place you can bring your special half or just with bunch of mates for a catch up dinner! Why not five stars given such positive review? We were there for a special birthday, and read from other reviews that you might get a complimentary cake or something, however we didn't get anything (there was a flag placed on our table), so a little disappointed that we didn't get the same special treat.

Not a bad word about this place! The interior and view are beautiful, especially if you come for an early dinner and watch the sunset over the harbor. The large window fronts give loads of light and make the room feel spacious, and the interior is modern, clean, and stylish, without feeling cold. I went for a dinner with work colleagues, and we opted for their pre-set four course menu with the wine pairing. At DKK 450, the dinner is great value for money, as is the wine pairing for DKK 325 (there is a premium pairing available for around DKK 800 as well). The food was amazing, starting from the two snacks (rye bread chips with herring cream and radish, and a little pie with asparagus and crispy chicken skin). We had opted for drinks with our snacks, and I chose their Spring Martini with among others dill akvavit, and I really loved it! The first serving was a gravad sea trout with thinly sliced daikon, a horseradish gel, and parsley, paired with a light and crisp German Riesling. This was followed by pan-seared scallops with carrots, carrot puree, and a hollandaise sauce. I wouldn't actually have needed the hollandaise, but everything else worked together beautifully. The wine pairing was a nice, oaky Californian Chardonnay. The main course was Danish lamb with celeriac, spinach, and a sauce with lingonberries. The lamb was impeccably cooked and amazingly tender, paired with a blend of Mourvèdres and Sauvignon. For dessert, we were treated to a birch ice cream with blueberry crumble, alongside a Sauternes dessert wine. After dinner, we lingered for a little while, sipping some coffee and avecs. I opted for another cocktail with cherry and coffee, which was creamy, sweet, and delicious - the perfect end to a perfect dinner! I honestly haven't got a bad word to say about this place, and I will definitely be back in the near future!

Came here with a colleague last week for dinner. I had been here once before and loved it and this time was just as great. We stay at the Marriott and it is a short 5 min cab ride. The restaurant is on the canal and has a wonderful view. The waitress couldn't have been nicer and answered all our questions. We started with a glass of wine. One thing I appreciate about restaurants in Copenhagen is they want you to find a glass of wine you like. She let me try two before I settled on my glass. We decided to do the preset menu - 2 snacks and 4 courses. I can't remember the price in DKK but worked out to be $75 so very reasonable. The snacks were slices of Danish meat and salmon tartare which was perfect. There were two fish courses, a meat course and a dessert. The two fish were by far my favorite. Scallops cooked perfectly and a white fish with a lobster foam. The courses were the perfect size so you left satisfied but not overfill. I will definitely be back and have recommended to my colleagues.

Oysters I forget what magic they put with them but it was my favorite oyster ever.

This was my favorite meal in Copenhagen! The ambiance was open and modern yet cozy with lovely views of the water. The staff was attentive, professional, and friendly. We went with the tasting menu, which included 2 "snacks" and then 5 courses and the wine pairing. I was so happy! The descriptions given at each delight from the kitchen was very detailed, but most importantly the food tasted DELICIOUS! It was fun to have some fresh and local cuisine. Presentation was superb and the portions were surprisingly filling for a tasting menu. I would go back here in a heartbeat!

This meal was the highlight of our Copenhagen stay. Our tour guide had mentioned No.2 during our excursion a day earlier and we decided to give it a try. The setting is beautiful, and we were seated near the window facing the river and the national library. Service was efficient and casual. The server explained to us about the plates we ordered and the presentation was visually first rate. Everything about the food here is about freshness and flavors of the ingredients. For the price, No.2 has to be a bargain compared to other restaurants (both tourist and high end fare). They also have a very good wine list which offers extensive varieties by the glass, in addition to the wine pairing for the tasting menu. I hope to hear more great things about No.2 in the future and maybe I'll be lucky enough to come back for a future visit.

Filet de Bœuf with Purée de Pommes de Terre: This hit the spot. Presentation was simple yet amazing. Piped potato purée that's been baked/ torched for texture and color. In the middle it beef that was cooked perfectly (so it was tender, juicy and locked in its natural flavor), and slices of butter. 5/5 Service was great and attentive. The interior is quite spacious yet has a relaxed vibe.

Located near old town Christiana, two Michelin star restaurant Kadeau Copenhagen is an offshoot of an original location in Bornholm. Much of the food and produce for this menu still comes from Bornholm, grounding the New Nordic, seafood-focused menu in a sense of place. I typically prefer an evening reservation, but lunch is what fit into my schedule on this day and I can't imagine a more perfect timing to see the ethereal, artistic dining room in the natural sunlight. The dining room reminded me a bit of being inside Musée de l'Orangerie's Waterlilies exhibit: it's a truly meditative setup. The service from start to finish is truly unreal, and rivals three star restaurants I have been to. Every small touch is made for you to enjoy your experience. Shout out to one of the chefs who tipped off the other restaurant I was dining at on the same day, who greeted me and asked me about my experience at Kadeau when I arrived there. I came for the start of Growing Season in May 2025. For this meal, I chose the non-alcoholic pairing, which I could not possibly recommend enough. It was hands down, the most perfect flavor pairing for the food I have ever had and each new drink was more inventive and fun than the last. The sourcing from Bornholm really played well here, as a lot of similar ingredients from a dish became part of the drink (lot of plum notes when I went). I think my favorites were the Japanese Quince, Hemp, and Honey (which had just a light effervescence) or the Apple and Unfiltered Bee Pollen drink. But honestly, I would go and do this meal all over again for the unreal drink pairing alone. I do a lot of fine dining and always enjoy my meals, but Kadeau was one of the first meals where I felt like I did not have a single bad or even middling bite out of the 15 courses. I have dietary restrictions (no red meat), but few dishes really required substitution. Each new dish was light, flavorful, nuanced, and so so delicious. The shrimps tart with quince and ants was a bit more adventurous than what I normally go for, but ended up being one of my favorite bites. The hot and cold smoked salmon was a dish I'll remember forever and I loved hearing that the chef moved from Las Vegas to Copenhagen just to learn how to make that dish. The plum "soft serve" with plum oil, vinegar, schnapps/ caramel, was such a great example of how inventive they could be with truly all of the elements that build flavor. It was a once in a lifetime meal. This is certainly an expensive meal, but in a city with a lot of tasty meals to choose from, Kadeau is one to truly remember.

A foodie friend, who travels the world just to eat at Michelin restaurants, told me he enjoyed his experience here better than Noma. The chefs all seemed so calm & professional, and the servers were outstanding. The set menu was incredible, and my husband did the wine pairing, which he really enjoyed. A lot of spectacular seafood. Stunning presentations and incredible attention to detail. Besides the food being unbelievable, it was such a fun experience!! We had a lot of questions, and our servers couldn't have been nicer! They brought out ingredients that we were unfamiliar with, so we could see them. They let us taste a fresh herb (not exciting) and then the dried version (amazing!) When we left, everyone was waiting for us and we got a wonderful photo. We will never forget this spectacular meal!

My picky father loved his waffle. And I really enjoyed the porridge I had. The oats perfectly cooked, the apples and almonds gave it a nice textural contrast. Plus the caramel, which was more like a dulce de leche added the perfect amount of sweetness without being too sweet. My mom was a bit ambivalent because the All In was too sweet. But to be fair, All In includes all of their toppings. Including chocolate and caramel so her assessment was fair! The Grød at 7Eleven had this wonderful chia pudding, layered with yogurt, natural peanut butter, a berry compote and nuts and I was obsessed. So simple, yet so wholesome.
