I'm rating the service I received, not the environment. The person who waxed me was kind, and the company's website says she has four years of experience. However, as someone who has been getting waxed regularly for over a year (about twice a month), I was honestly shocked by the quality of the service. During my appointment, the same area was waxed multiple times--far more than it should have been--which left my skin irritated. I chose not to point out the areas that were missed after the appointment because the same spots had already been waxed repeatedly and I didn't want to risk even more irritation. I checked out, said the service was okay, paid the usual $40, and left. When I got home, I had to tweeze about 16 hairs from my upper lip myself and heavily moisturize my skin to calm the irritation and redness. Check to make sure they have the color you want. They don't do appointment reservations, walk-in only, but I had called the day before to make sure since I needed about 2 hours. I got in at the right time around 10:30am when someone was finishing up, she says usually people only need to wait about 15-20 minutes when all the stylists are in. The 2nd stylist had not come in on a holiday, so some people had to come back later. The location is right off the 14 bus, and there's plenty of parking in a quiet neighborhood, so it's peaceful. FYI no problems with English as shared in other reviews. They take credit cards. FYI they may close a little early on holidays, so call to check!

I was pissed and I had too cool off so It wouldn't be full of emotion. -TLDR 2015-2020 Loved this place but starting 2020 till 2023 they were fucking up by eyebrows more then doing them good. I started getting by eyebrows down at hair centric in 2015, LOVED it and was getting my eyebrows waxed CONSISTENTLY (as soon as they were started growing) done from the end of 2015 to mid 2018 and then I would let them grow back before I would get them waxed again. The first time they FUCKED up my eyebrows was 2020 right before the covid lockdown. and ever since then till I stopped going (Augest 2023) they were fucking up my eyebrows or almost letting me walk out with mismatched eyebrows unless I said something even if it was pretty obvious (I know eyebrows aren't going to be twin sisters but they were barley distance cousins) Why did I keep going? 5 years of them doing a great job and knowing other places close by didn't do a good job. They would also do a good job every once in a while so I would HOLD onto that hope but the last time I went they FUCKED up by eyebrow SOOO BAD I had to sit in the car until I stopped crying so I could drive home where I then cried the rest of the day. Even if I would make an appointment they would wait till I was there to heat up the wax so I would have to wait either way. They tried cancelling my appointment 4 minutes after the start time when I walked in at the 5 minute mark (only once did I not show up to an appoinment b/c I though I booked it for a Friday when I actually booked it on a Thursday and I called them to apologize, so it wasn't because I would not show up to appointments)
