When we explained the situation, the staff at Seymour shoehorned us in and provided excellent, comprehensive and friendly service. A big shout out to Rusty, who approached the work with curiosity, respect and warmth. I don't live in CR but would recommend Seymour to anyone!

Problem was assessed and an the invoice presented for the assessment with the assurance from the service writer "we will call when the brake switch arrives". They never called. I had the job done elsewhere. Would I go back?? NO. The part was locally available and the job could have been completed on the initial visit. For some reason even though they knew I had to drive two hours to get to their shop they chose not to do the work. I will never grace their doors or suggest any one go there.

This is family business and they are very friendly, hard-working, and committed to doing a great job. The owner, Brennan, has a lot of experience and used excellent judgment in how much to polish so as not to sacrifice the finish. After polishing, he waxed the van and now it is shiny and smooth, has fewer scratches, and washes really easy. Brennan provided advice on washing and other types of care. Their business card says that they do scratch removal, wet sanding, polishing and also interiors. They are conveniently located on the road behind Walmart (a block behind), which is Maple Street (1690 B). Phone number is 250-287-8399.

In fact all of the staff that we saw met us with a big smile and a hello. On our first visit to the dealership I told Shaun that we were in the market for a new car but that we had no idea what types were currently on the market in our price range. I said that we would not buy a car that day and that we were going to look at all of the different types before making a decision. Shaun accepted that and offered no hard sell but asked what we liked in a car and then showed us a CR-V that had everything that we wanted. We took it for a test drive while our old Jeep was appraised. Louis gave us their offer to which I thought was a bit low (I don't think anyone gets an offer more than what they think that their car is worth!). I told Shaun again that we were not going to buy a car right then to which he gently tried to talk me into staying. Again he and Louis blew me away by not hitting with the hard sell but offered to let me take the CR-V for another drive to compare it to any of the other cars that we might test drive and wished us luck. We eventually returned to Campbell River Honda and bought the CR-V after much detective work. The price that they offered me for my Jeep was fair and the explanation that Louis gave for that offer was valid. I have never had such a pleasant experience before trading in a car for a new one and both Shaun and Louis are responsible. My wife and I are very happy with the CR-V and if we are ever in the market for another new car we will be back to Campbell River Honda.
