This place has been on a downhill slide since numerous changes in management. Ive been going to…read morethem for years, ever since any vehicle I've owned that needed repairs, they were the first repair shop that came to mind. My most recent experience was the nail in the coffin for me. I purchased a new to me truck that needed some work which is expected when purchasing a used, older vehicle the only call I received was to let me know it needed some work to make it safe to drive sure that's not what anybody wants to hear but it was what it was. I wasn't told what needed to be done immediately and what could wait money is tight enough which is why I'd prefer to spread out the financial costs of repairs instead they just went at it like it was a sponsored fix I came to pick it up to be shocked with a bill of over $5000. I wasn't kept up to date on anything being done nor did they call me to get my authorization for any work. I believe everyone deserves a second chance so I took my truck in for one last repair to find out they wrecked my speakers I even caught one of the mechanics had turned them up way beyond what they're built for, I understand people make mistakes it just happens. Did they take responsibility for it? No. Did they offer to cover the cost of replacing them? No. I'm not a car audio technician so I looked for fuse on my cd player to see if it had blown it turns out I couldn't find one. it's not difficult to slightly pull out the cd player just enough to get a good look at it. Instead of the bracket that was used to hold it in place that came from the factory in its place was what looked like a cheap piece of plastic cut up and then bolted into place. the big issue there is that it cannot be repaired without finding a whole new dash board which is ridiculously expensive, just the gauge cluster alone would be $1200 if I could find one. To be perfectly honest spend a little more at a well known dealership such as our local Toyota dealership. I've dealt with them just a little bit to understand what happened on my end. In the future I will strictly deal with them as they are the best automotive shop to work with, friendly, honest, communicative and no I'm not getting paid to write this review all I want to do is help other people avoid the same garbage I had to swallow.

Spoke to the manager and we were extremely disappointed with his response. He explains he would sell it to the next person for 6,500$. Buyer beware. Bring a licensed mechanic with you. Be prepared to be belittled by the management. They lack respect and completely waste your time. The mechanic that I had with me knew more about the car in the first 5 minutes than what they've known about it since they got it 4 months ago. There were critical parts missing on the motor, and yet it still passed the "Bill Howich inspection". My mechanic touched the back bumper and it almost fell off as it was held on by zap straps. I was prepared to drive away a happy customer but instead I was told by management that "everyone has different expectations". The salesman that we were directly dealing with at the time was great help and gladly admitted that the car has issues. He was very honest about his lack of knowledge of the car once we arrived . However this establishment lacks true leadership in the way of management and not an apology was made for wasting our evening. No compensation for the hassle. I would highly recommend buying a vehicle anywhere but here, as you will drive away with more problems than you came in with.

Will definitely go back to purchase my second car replacement vehicle in the next couple of years.

Please read this. Actual event,…read moreNo individuals mentioned. Buying a vehicle can be a stressful event. For most people car payments are a big part of their monthly budget. I explained about my budget and what I wanted. roughly. The effectiveness and expertise they used to get me to take something i didnt even like the colour of, paid more for warranty and insurance extras, was impressive. I was played like harp. Any salespeople would have been impressed. I hadn't even gotten to back to the river and the trouble lights came on the dash. Now in their defense they said I wouldn't need to dip into the fancy warranty they just sold me yet. They'll fix the faulty tire pressure sensors, I drove off the lot with, on their own. Good grief. I made it home, seven hours after i first walked in, 30k poorer, for a truck i don't even like the colour of, in a loaner car. That actually happened. Please spare yourself the grief. stop them. Say no. Get out before you sign. How can anyone enjoy shopping g for a vehicle with that outcome. You don't know until its over. Last vehicle I'll buy from a dealer. It happens so slick, you wont even know. I don't think the individuals are evil, its just the nature of, the design of, a consumer exploitation industry. Get them signed and move them out. When it breaks they'll be back because of the warranty we sold also. gave them 2 stars because the coffee was free, while i waited. Seriously, reconsider.

We didn't appreciate having to sign what felt like a purchase agreement before we could discuss these other important options to get a full picture of the pending deal. We were concerned about engine noise in the pickup, and really felt this dealership went above and beyond to source our concerns by arranging a quick mechanical inspection with Tyee Chev to put our concerns to rest. Thank you Martin for all of your help, we love our new truck! Ron

At that time I was going to contact Mobil 1, however, we ended up dealing with a major family emergency which consumed us for a couple of weeks. A couple days ago we found time to report this to Mobil 1. Now the manager is saying that my engine cover was not on my SUV when I had them service it. Despite me watching the employee remove the cover to do the service. He suggested it was a different cover and perhaps my engine cover was forgotten at the previous place I had my oil changed. This is impossible! My spouse is meticulous with our vehicles and checks the engine fluids levels frequently. In this case, he had checked the levels a couple of days prior to me bringing it in for servicing. Our SUV is always parked in our garage unless I am running errands. There is no evidence my vehicle was broken into. Therefore, the ONLY time the vehicle was compromised was when I brought it to Mobil 1 for servicing. The cost to replace the engine cover is approximately $200. The manager contacted his GM and has informed me that they will only offer a 50% off my next oil change. I believe in honest, customer service and I felt that we were not being treated as such. I admit that my spouse got rather difficult to deal with, when speaking with the manager; however, my spouse is a military veteran with PTSD and often has difficulty regulating his emotions. In this situation he felt he was being questioned about his honesty, and was not being heard by the manager. Mobil 1 claims to have high standards and protocols when servicing vehicles; however, honest mistakes do happen. Yet, another item to note. The servicing technician highly recommended adding fuel system cleaner to which I agreed. When I returned home my spouse informed me that I should have filled up the gas fuel after to ensure proper distribution. If this is the case, perhaps Mobil 1 should be informing people as such? Happy Remembrance Day Mobil 1. Is this how you treat our veterans?
