The day I purchased the car warning lights showed up, it's always risky buying a used car but Honda took care of the repairs. Thank you so much, I will tell everyone looking for a car to go Campbell River Honda. PS - their coffee and snacks make the car buying process delicious :) AND you get free car washes for life.

In fact all of the staff that we saw met us with a big smile and a hello. On our first visit to the dealership I told Shaun that we were in the market for a new car but that we had no idea what types were currently on the market in our price range. I said that we would not buy a car that day and that we were going to look at all of the different types before making a decision. Shaun accepted that and offered no hard sell but asked what we liked in a car and then showed us a CR-V that had everything that we wanted. We took it for a test drive while our old Jeep was appraised. Louis gave us their offer to which I thought was a bit low (I don't think anyone gets an offer more than what they think that their car is worth!). I told Shaun again that we were not going to buy a car right then to which he gently tried to talk me into staying. Again he and Louis blew me away by not hitting with the hard sell but offered to let me take the CR-V for another drive to compare it to any of the other cars that we might test drive and wished us luck. We eventually returned to Campbell River Honda and bought the CR-V after much detective work. The price that they offered me for my Jeep was fair and the explanation that Louis gave for that offer was valid. I have never had such a pleasant experience before trading in a car for a new one and both Shaun and Louis are responsible. My wife and I are very happy with the CR-V and if we are ever in the market for another new car we will be back to Campbell River Honda.

This place has been on a downhill slide since numerous changes in management. Ive been going to…read morethem for years, ever since any vehicle I've owned that needed repairs, they were the first repair shop that came to mind. My most recent experience was the nail in the coffin for me. I purchased a new to me truck that needed some work which is expected when purchasing a used, older vehicle the only call I received was to let me know it needed some work to make it safe to drive sure that's not what anybody wants to hear but it was what it was. I wasn't told what needed to be done immediately and what could wait money is tight enough which is why I'd prefer to spread out the financial costs of repairs instead they just went at it like it was a sponsored fix I came to pick it up to be shocked with a bill of over $5000. I wasn't kept up to date on anything being done nor did they call me to get my authorization for any work. I believe everyone deserves a second chance so I took my truck in for one last repair to find out they wrecked my speakers I even caught one of the mechanics had turned them up way beyond what they're built for, I understand people make mistakes it just happens. Did they take responsibility for it? No. Did they offer to cover the cost of replacing them? No. I'm not a car audio technician so I looked for fuse on my cd player to see if it had blown it turns out I couldn't find one. it's not difficult to slightly pull out the cd player just enough to get a good look at it. Instead of the bracket that was used to hold it in place that came from the factory in its place was what looked like a cheap piece of plastic cut up and then bolted into place. the big issue there is that it cannot be repaired without finding a whole new dash board which is ridiculously expensive, just the gauge cluster alone would be $1200 if I could find one. To be perfectly honest spend a little more at a well known dealership such as our local Toyota dealership. I've dealt with them just a little bit to understand what happened on my end. In the future I will strictly deal with them as they are the best automotive shop to work with, friendly, honest, communicative and no I'm not getting paid to write this review all I want to do is help other people avoid the same garbage I had to swallow.

I explained about my budget and what I wanted. roughly. The effectiveness and expertise they used to get me to take something i didnt even like the colour of, paid more for warranty and insurance extras, was impressive. I was played like harp. Any salespeople would have been impressed. I hadn't even gotten to back to the river and the trouble lights came on the dash. Now in their defense they said I wouldn't need to dip into the fancy warranty they just sold me yet. They'll fix the faulty tire pressure sensors, I drove off the lot with, on their own. Good grief. I made it home, seven hours after i first walked in, 30k poorer, for a truck i don't even like the colour of, in a loaner car. That actually happened. Please spare yourself the grief. stop them. Say no. Get out before you sign. How can anyone enjoy shopping g for a vehicle with that outcome. You don't know until its over. Last vehicle I'll buy from a dealer. It happens so slick, you wont even know. I don't think the individuals are evil, its just the nature of, the design of, a consumer exploitation industry. Get them signed and move them out. When it breaks they'll be back because of the warranty we sold also. gave them 2 stars because the coffee was free, while i waited. Seriously, reconsider.

We didn't appreciate having to sign what felt like a purchase agreement before we could discuss these other important options to get a full picture of the pending deal. We were concerned about engine noise in the pickup, and really felt this dealership went above and beyond to source our concerns by arranging a quick mechanical inspection with Tyee Chev to put our concerns to rest. Thank you Martin for all of your help, we love our new truck! Ron
