I've been to different Neiman's cafe before but felt the service lacked a bit. The finished plates weren't taken off our table to the point we actually started piling them up on top of each other so they could get noticed. When items were taken away, so did our not finished fries.. we did call the gentlemen back to bring us our fries :) He was very nice and apologized as he thought we were done. Onto the food Avocado toast with an egg: Nothing special. It's just sliced avocado on toast with an egg on top. I prefer Three Tarts Avocado toast with an egg over this one. Sandwich: Anything that has bacon in it would taste good. The chips had a sweet taste to it, which is not something for me. I like my chips savory. Fries: Delicious Cocktails seem watered down a bit with little or no alcohol. I'd definitely give it a try again out of convenience.

This place is a definite people watching place, that is if you like to watch train wrecks of bad plastic surgery. I've never seen so many puffy plastic looking women in a room. Service here is hot or miss depending on which wait staff you get. If you can endure this it's worth it as I just love the food here. They always start you with this broth and I don't know what's in it but it's just really good. The popovers with the strawberry butter is real winner too. You just can't go wrong with any of their salads here as they are just sooo delicious. So go here for the food but come back again for the circus.

I really enjoyed the blacken salmon tacos!! Make sure to get it well done. You get two tacos for the price of $22.00 dollars which is steep but it's not the average schmo spot! My husband did not like chicken pillard milanese he said that the crusted part around the flat chicken pattie has a odd butter taste.

Very relaxed atmosphere for a Sunday. I hear it's the place for "north-shore-semi-professional-stay-at-home-shoppers" with the need to eat a nice lunch while still being able to assure themselves they can count the calories on the menu along with the grams of fat and carbohydrates. This way when they do hot yoga or Pilates after a hard day of shopping they don't have to work off lunch. In all seriousness - very good food. My steak frites was excellent as was the crab Louis.

I've been here in the past and always thought their food is great. However, aside from that, the service is lacking. We waited for a server for a good ten minutes after sitting down. Also, they informed us that they ran out of broth but decided to serve the surrounding tables before us once the broth was prepared. Seriously?...Some highlights of our experience include the pop over. Holy delicious! and the butter they serve with it is pure bliss. For my lunch, I settled with the Love salad after hearing positive remarks on it. I must say, that is the best salad I had in a long time. You can't go wrong with natural chicken, avocado, artichokes, and hearts of palm. I highly highly recommend it! My other guest ordered the sautéed salmon and said it was phenomenal. Although I don't dine her often, I will return in the future. They just really need to work on the service issue!

Who knew Neiman Marcus had a little café near the shoe department on the second floor? Apparently a lot of people including my parents and yet somehow I didn't. I've been here a handful of times now and it's always a treat. I always feel like a little kid at a fancy tea party whenever I lunch here since the tables are beautifully decorated with white linen and fresh flowers. I've always had great service when I come but that may be because the parentals know some of the staff. We usually like to be seated in Pepe's section; he is incredibly sweet, friendly, and always remembers everyone. When you are seated you are greeted with a complimentary fresh popover with whipped strawberry butter and a small cup of consommé (the broth everyone is raving about). I literally could just eat popovers and consommé for my lunch if I could because it's THAT good. Trust me. They're flaky on the outside, airy but not too airy, chewy yet soft, and oh so buttery. The sweet whipped butter adds a nice contrast to the more savory popover. As for my main entrée, I ordered the chicken melt sandwich which had slices of chicken, fresh mozzarella, tomato, and pesto on a ciabatta roll with small side of mixed greens and a fruit salad. I could only stomach half of the sandwich since I had partied a bit too hard the night before (it was Halloween, don't judge me!) but the sandwich is perfect sized to fill you up but not too large for you to overeat. My parent's favorite salad is the LOVE salad which someone else already described in another review. My mom's dish she ordered was really good! It was a light pasta with grilled shrimp, broccolini, and butternut squash. I never would have thought to add butternut squash to pasta but it worked so well. I didn't expect to like it since it sounded healthy and that usually deters me from wanting to try/order it since let's just say I prefer a nice ribeye or burger over a healthier option. At the end of the meal, you're given little envelopes with paper thin chocolate squares that have a mint filling along with your check. I forget what company makes these chocolates but these are yummy. Zodiac Room is a fun experience if you want to experience a Breakfast at Tiffany's-esque brunch/lunch with your girlfriends or family.

We were seated promptly. The place is a little louder than I prefer; we had a 2 top booth in the rear of the resto that tempered the sound level a bit, but keep in mind it's not a "quiet place". The menu is straightforward; pizzas, pastas, proteins. We started with the arancini; they were great (and a large portion, to boot). I had the house made pasta with Bolognese, and she had the chicken piccata. Both dishes were wonderful; again, really large portions. Service was fast and friendly, and dinner for two with tip didn't break $80 Recommended for a good southern Italian meal in Highland Parl.

Having just gotten home from an extended stay in the hospital, I struggled to put on shoes and retrieve it. Food was ice cold. Bag with calamari came sealed. Pizza box was not. After reheating the calamari was soggy and pizza pretty good. I would think delivery would have some sort of thermo bag to keep food warm. We started with four…read morecocktails--a Ginger Manhattan, an Old Fashioned, and two martinis--all of which were well-prepared and nicely presented, especially considering the price point. For appetizers, we ordered the baked feta and the beef tartare. The baked feta was excellent. The tartare offered a creative twist on a classic; while it was slightly underseasoned for my taste, it was still enjoyable. The raw egg on top was an interesting addition. As we relaxed and enjoyed our drinks and starters, we saw several dishes coming out of the kitchen that looked fantastic, which built up our anticipation for the entrées. However, before ordering, our server informed us they were out of the lamb chops and duck--disappointing, as the lamb in particular looked great. My wife initially ordered the skirt steak, while the rest of us chose the Bistro Tampiqueña. Shortly after, our server--who was very polite and professional--returned to let us know they were also out of skirt steak, offering ribeye as a substitute, which we agreed to. My wife then switched her order to whitefish. A few minutes later, the situation took a turn: the server came back again and informed us that they were completely out of all meat. On a Saturday night, around 7:15pm. That's a tough pill to swallow at any restaurant. At that point, we settled for our third and fourth choices. Two of us ordered the shrimp risotto, which was a generous portion, creamy, and well-executed with a good amount of shrimp. I had the seafood pasta, which also came with a generous portion of seafood. However, the arrabbiata sauce was very mild--almost bland. I had to add crushed red pepper and parmesan to bring it to life. It would have been much better if it had delivered the bold flavor you expect from a true arrabbiata. We asked to speak with a manager about the situation. After about 20 minutes, Chef Miguel came out to address another table experiencing the same issue. He took full responsibility for the ordering mistake and apologized sincerely. He comped us a tiramisu and a round of cocktails, which we appreciated. That said, while the food we did have was good, the overall experience was overshadowed by the fact that so much of the menu was unavailable. It's hard to return to a restaurant when you can't rely on the menu being there--especially on a Saturday night.

We first sat down for a meal, and coming on a early weeknight it was not that busy at all when we arrived. They had a happy hour deals for $6 of four different kinds of shareables. We tried all four. The loaded tots, Nashville hot chicken baos, onion dip with chips and southwest quesadillas. Our favorites were the loaded tots and onion dip. The loaded tots had a decent amount of small strips of bacon and was covered with a white and cheddar queso. Very good and tasty and the right amount of toppings on it. The onion dip was good too, the dip came in what looked like a smaller sauce side but there was plenty, we had leftover dip after finishing the chips. The bao were decent sized, came in a set of 2 and wasn't overly spicy. The least favorite was the quesadillas, just not much to the flavor and filling. After eating we played a 9 hole round of putt putt. The holes are fun and interactive. You pay for the round at the kiosks and then get your ball at the start of the course. Each hole is digitized and shots are auto calculated for a score. It was a fun way to play putt putt.

The restaurant inside is convenient and our server was great. The woman working inside the kitchen was also extremely sweet to our son. My husband ordered the burger and said it was great. I had the hot chicken sandwich and it was very dry. Prices were reasonable so I'd say this lands in the "fine" range. There are four courses of nine holes each - ruby, emerald, sapphire, and amber. Some holes do repeat across all courses, which seemed odd. The designs were fun for both adults and kids. We definitely had a great time on the two courses we did. It did get a bit congested at one point, and they were not very busy. For whatever reason 90% of the groups were on two adjacent courses while the other two courses had one group between them. The distribution was not the best. There are also these numbered posts at the front of each hole to let you know which hole you're at. The problem is they are directly in the way of your swing. It's a strange design. The ball automatically keeps track of your strokes. This was pretty cool and we all had a great time with it. However, the voiceover that tallies your strokes at the end is very sarcastic and pokes fun at you if you go over. This is funny for adults but discouraging for kids. My son was having fun and then heard the voiceover and asked if he did a bad job. It would be great to have the option to play without the voiceover if you're playing with kids. My husband and I just kind of cheered over it to keep our kid distracted. We had a lot of fun and found it reasonably priced ($52 for three of us to play two 9 hole courses). We will definitely go again.
