    El Rey burrito

Great food and great experience. Juliana handled our group of 10 including 4 kids like a pro. No complaints from anyone. We had table side guac. My father in law and I had the El Rey burrito. Chicken, steak, chorizo, shrimp, rice and bacon is a recipe for deliciousness!

This location is at the Bridgeway Station. We learned today there are 4 locations, this one being the newest. We arrived for an early lunch, roughly an hour after opening and were seated immediately. The location had quite a lot of seating available throughout the establishment. I'm almost positive the weekends are typically slammed. All team member greeted us kindly. Our food was great and came out fast. Table side guac is always a yes. The queso was flavorful. The meals were large and the drinks strong. It is a little pricier than expected but for a first timer, we enjoyed it. The music is not too loud and not to quite. We had plenty of food to take home for dinner

I really wanted to be impressed by this place at bridgeway. The outside is nice and I loved the decor inside of the restaurant. When you walk it there are steps down to plenty of seating. There is even an "elevator" for customers who can't use the steps inside. The floor would not be rain friendly. The host were super sweet and we were seated fast. They have an avocado and lime already on the table to promote the table side guacamole but it will cost you around $14. The prices were a little different online verses in the restaurant. I got the Parrilla. In the photo it shows everything and listed but when ordering the waitress tried to only give us one meat choice. The pork tasted bad and the dish lacked flavor. The chips were good and the salsas were bland. One taste like tomato sauce and the other was okay. Do yourself a favor and ask go the spicy salsa . The Jamaica water was really good. The service was slow even though there were about 3 people in the restaurant. I really was hoping for a better experience verses what I read online. This was a great presentation with a lacking experience for me. Maybe next time I'll try another location.

The weather was great and the out door seating has shade, so lunch with a view. It took a while for the rolls to come out, but they weee worth the wait. Tried two rolls. The Acevichado Roll - a unique roll that really worked. Has shrimp ceviche & is a creation of their chef. Our server told us the chef was from Miami and in the past worked for Bad Bunny. The Castle Roll. A boy heavy in the cream cheese but nice. Am a fan of salmon. Friendly server. The restaurant was not overly crowded but the food took a while to come out. If you are looking for tasty food and a nice "castle" vista check it out, but make sure you have plenty of time if you dine at this trendy spot.

Tables are filled quickly but serviced fast. Food comes out hot and fresh. Dining area is a bit loud during lunch. We ordered the cheddar hushpuppies( soft and melts in the mouth) and nola grilled gulf oysters (savory;garlic butter, herbs, parmgiano-regiano, pecorino romano, crusty bread) for our appetizers. We loved the nola grilled oysters it is so fresh and delicous. We decided to try a platter of different kinds of oysters. My favorite is the sweet jesus( Maryland oysters ;sweet and clean, less salty). Also tryed a dozen of the happy hour barcat oysters from Chesapeake Bay Virginia ( meaty texture;salty to sweet finish). The most fresh tasting oysters I've tasted in the east coast. They shuck the oysters for you too. For our main plate we both had the charleston shrimp burger(housemade shrimp pattie, lettuce, tomato, charred lemon caper tartar sauce, brioche bun). The shrimp burger is amazing!!!!The best seafood burger I've ever tasted on the east coast. I would recommend 10/10. The photo can be deceiving, quality of the shrimp pattie is unmatched on the east coast. Overall, this restaurant is excellent for fresh seafood. There is more seafood menu items other then oysters and shrimp, looking forward for our next visit!!!!

Mild heat, because we are exactly the white people that setting implies. Mrs. W. grew up at the beach and cracked, peeled, and de-shelled everything with the calm efficiency of someone who has done this her entire life, occasionally sliding a fully cleaned piece of crab onto my plate without a word, the way you'd hand a tool to someone who clearly doesn't know how to use it. I finished half the bag and felt inflated like a puffer fish, a seafood relative that, unlike anything in our bag, can actually kill you if prepared wrong. Worth it.

When I picked up my order the waitress was very nice and she had my order ready when I walked in. The food itself was great! I'm not sure what my order was, due to having my sister (who frequently dines in here) order me her favorites. The food was well flavored, good quality ingredients, and very hot when picked up! Side Note: the crawfish was huge and I very much enjoyed that as I usually don't order crawfish because of its small size, not sure if the crawfish are normally that size but I loved it. Overall, I would definitely come back to this spot!!

Our waiter was a superstar- in talking with him he shared he was from Ecuador and made suggestions for our lunch choice. We started with the beef and chicken empanadas- very good- and an order of maduros- ripe plantains. We should have stopped there because I was almost full at that point. For our entrees we chose shrimp mofongo- which we really see in small cities being that it is the national dish of Puerto Rico- and the paella for one. Both were wonderful. I would argue that the size of the paella should be be renamed as a lid of a trashcan serving. It was giant and we barely put a dent in it before asking for a to go box. I highly recommend this spot!

Other things we liked: the decor was nice, our waitress was a friendly young lady who made the experience pleasant, and the restroom was very clean. Overall, a solid spot for tasty Latin dishes and a comfortable atmosphere.
