Their white sangria was delicious, and they have some really good drink specials. We tried quite a few dishes, including the croquetas, patatas bravas, steak with chimichurri, Spanish jamón, and bone marrow. The steak was one of my favorites, and the croquetas were fantastic! Everything we ordered was delicious, and I really enjoyed being able to try so many different things instead of just ordering one big meal. What I love most about this place is the atmosphere. It's lively but still has that intimate feel that makes it perfect for a date. You can sit back, enjoy your sangria, share a bunch of tapas, and have a great evening without feeling rushed. Definitely one of those places I'll keep coming back to!

Manager Joey offered us ice cream to add to it, and that took it to another level. The drinks were good, and our server, Gio, was great. The ambiance was incredible--I felt like I was in Ibiza or Tulum. The atmosphere and music created such an amazing vibe. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. The food, service, drinks, and especially the ambiance all stood out.

I understand why this spot is so popular. the food is good and reasonably priced. it's a great place to hit up after dinner or the bar and add to your belly.

You introduced me to Khao Soi and many other delicious eats. Fast forward ten years, we were in the neighborhood, hungry, and decided to stop by. It had been a few years since our last visit. I may remember wrong, but I thought there used to be indoors seating too? Anyway, we got seated after a short wait. We were told we could only make one order. I ordered the Khao Man Gai, and I have to say, this is the worst chicken rice I had hands down. It came with one big piece of white breast meat - skinless boneless, which tasted totally bland. So was the rice. None of the aromatic flavor that makes it so special. It definitely wasn't how it was made or served years ago. The pork in the salad was super dry as well. So sad, not coming back.

1OCT26 Today we…read morevisited Xixón a Taste of Spain for the first time. The atmosphere is pleasant, warm, and friendly. We came to celebrate a birthday and were seated on the terrace, which has a screen showing an image of a cabin with a pool and natural view. The screen allows you to adjust the mood of the area, from ambient music to music videos. At first it played elegant instrumental music, and once the night warmed up, with just one adjustment the festive vibe kicked in with salsa and Cuban music. The terrace is very well set up: it has ceiling fans, air conditioning units, plastic curtains to protect from rain and maintain the temperature, decorative trees, and warm lighting that makes it very cozy. For drinks we ordered Estrella Galicia Especial they arrived nice and cold and are served with a chilled glass. Our server was Dayana, and Helio Javier also took care of us; he was always attentive to everything we needed. I really liked the leather coasters with the restaurant's name. I also had the chance to chat with the owner, Jolver Blanco. The Serrano ham croquettes were very good. I ordered the tenderloin tips (puntas de solomillo) and the salmon was also excellent. The restaurant has a great variety of rooms and atmospheres on different levels: the wine cellar (cava), Spanish winery-style areas, the indoor bar with striking jellyfish decorations, the entrance, the restrooms, and other themed spaces. There's a vineyard-style room with a ceiling decorated with leaves and grapes, another with starry-sky lighting, and the "Cuarto de Tula" with a bed, Russian-style fan, and typical Cuban elements. They also have cigars/habanos available for sale. One of the most interesting details is the men's restroom: the paintings of women with playful expressions give the feeling that they are looking at you, which sparks the imagination and adds a very original and fun touch to the space. Overall, the décor is impressive and very well done. Excellent first impression

A true Spanish "restaurant" ambiance where even the servers were Spanish with whom you could talk about the old country. What a disappointment it was to see the place has transformed into a night club with Latin America music (with extensive profanity) so loud we couldn't even have a conversation or understand what the servers were saying. The menu changed for the worse, two of plates we wanted have been removed although they still show in the menu. Also remarkable the service was below pedestrian. Servers vaping and smoking hukka (not sure if spelled correctly) while serving. Maybe it is the ownership is aiming to a different audience, and as good capitalist, I wish them much success. However, those who like me used to love the old Xixon should know is gone. It is just not for me, my family and at least those accompanying us tonight. So long!

If you are looking for the ultimate vineyard dining experience, do yourself a favor and book a…read moretable at Mellow Grapes immediately. From the second you pull up the driveway, you are greeted by rolling rows of vines and an atmosphere that instantly makes you drop your shoulders and relax. It completely lives up to its name--the vibe is effortlessly mellow, sophisticated, and incredibly welcoming. Here is why this place has officially become my absolute favorite spot: 1. The Wine & Food Pairings are Masterful The culinary team here clearly works hand-in-hand with the winemakers, because the pairings are flawless. We started with a crisp, beautifully balanced white blend paired with an artisanal charcuterie board featuring locally sourced cheeses and a phenomenal house-made fig jam. For the main course, the slow-braised short rib literally melted off the bone, and when paired with their estate estate Syrah, it was pure magic. Every bite was an absolute home run. 2. Breathtaking Atmosphere & Ambiance The design of the restaurant strikes the perfect balance between rustic vineyard charm and modern elegance. We sat out on the covered patio, which offers sweeping, unobstructed views of the vineyard. As the sun began to set, they lit the fire pits and turned on string lights, creating an incredibly romantic, warm glow across the entire space. It's the kind of environment where you just want to linger for hours over dessert and another bottle. 3. World-Class Hospitality What truly elevates Mellow Grapes is the service. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable without an ounce of pretentiousness. They walked us through the tasting notes of each wine, shared the history of the vineyard, and gave us brilliant recommendations based on our personal palates. The pace of the meal was perfect--we never felt rushed, yet we were perfectly looked after the entire evening. The Verdict Mellow Grapes is an absolute gem. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a perfect date night, or just want to treat yourself to an exquisite meal and fantastic wine, this place delivers on every front. The passion behind the food, the wine, and the hospitality is evident in every single detail. I'm already counting down the days until my next visit. Cheers to the team for creating such a spectacular experience!
