I used to come here all of the time but I'm never coming back.. We got burned by their water when we got our toes done and then they were multitasking and doing other people's nails and left us under hot towels. Our nails got done and looked like they had two weeks grow out when we just got them done. Don't waste your money on poor service, go elsewhere read more

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! I walked out after they completely messed up the shape of my nails, I had been growing out my nails for months and wanted to get a simple shellac with French tips, I explained that I wanted to keep my nails long, and round. The nail technician took out her clippers and cut my nails short and square, I kept telling her no, but she just kept going. After she cut all my nails and I told her AGAIN that I like them round she the cut my nails even shorter to try to round them out!!!! Then as she filed my nails they were all different lengths at this point and misshapen and crooked and ugly!!! At this point another nail tech came over to try to correct the ugly shape, at this point I was so upset because she had taken MONTH of nail growth away that I didn't want them touching my nails anymore! Oh and when she cut my cuticles she hurt me twice! I have literally never been hurt before!!! This was my first and LAST time I will ever step inside this business! Totally unhygienic too, using previously USED files, the equipment was dirty. I really hope I don't get an infection after this. I'm glad I left! read more

It was my first time coming here and I was pretty satisfied. Clean place, nice employees, and relaxing environment. If you are going to go on a weekend I recommend calling and making an appointment as they do seem to get pretty busy. With that said I think they could have had more people working to accommodate the weekend business. Also, they only take cash tip. I did not know this and did not have cash on me; so I was not able to leave a tip which I felt bad about. I will definitely be back. read more

If I could leave a review with no stars I would! Went in to get my eyebrows waxed, came out with really uneven eyebrows! When she showed me my eyebrows and I said they were uneven she said "no I didn't take off in the middle" which I KNOW she did! I told her, she was arguing with me. She FINALLY admitted to it and said "I'm sorry I shouldn't have done that, I can make it even for you" I didn't want her to touch my eyebrows at all anymore. DON'T GET YOUR EYEBROWS WAXED HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE UNEVEN EYEBROWS! To top it off, she STILL had me pay for the jacked up service. Talk about customer service! read more

It would have been a lovely experience but first of all I was told that it would be a half an hour wait for a pedicure and it ended up being almost an hour, and secondly when filling my toes the lady cut the tip of my big toe and I was bleeding really really badly. The disinfectant stung really bad and I still had to pay full price even though I now have a pretty deep cut on my toe. But the rest of it was fine. She painted my toes really nicely and the people were pretty nice. read more

The lady was nice, kept up a polite conversation with my sister and I. The problem that I have is that she left a nice gap from my new nails and my cuticles. Two nails fell off within the end of the 2nd week. It was not done that great. Which is upsetting since I spent about 45 dollars for them. read more

Lady who did my nails did not talk to me. Did not listen to me or even smile. Not even decent customer service. The owner had her daughter that looked not even 13 working the front desk checking guests in and out! Dirty tools used on nails and just overall tense environment for a nail salon. This place has a negative energy. They aren't very social and they nickel and dime. Charging a full manicure fill price and don't even clean up your cuticles or around your fingers. Anything other than filling the nails they will charge extra for. I understand being charged if I were to come in and ask for a nail to be fixed (color removed, tip added, refilled and painted) as it is extra work. However, I was already having my nails filled and because one needed a new tip she charged me an extra $5 and said it's extra work. I don't know how gluing on a tip is worth an extra $5. When I questioned her on it she was rude and then began talking a out me with the other girl. Laughing and staring at me. It was so uncomfortable. I will say the salon is clean and well maintained (other than the bathroom that was dirty and out of supplies). The work In general is very thin and brittle. I doubt I'll be returning. read more

The salon may be clean and the ladies nice, but when I went in to have my nails done the lady didn't use sanitized or new supplies on me. She didn't push back my cuticles and reused he same towel for the girl after me. Stations were filthy and she didn't even uv seal my acrylic. Kind of disappointed but from now on I will stick to doing my own nails. read more

Annie is great.................friendly and serves up a great pedicure. Establishment is very clean, beverage is offered while you relax. Will keep coming back as long as she works there. This is an update on my prior review I continue to go here for quite some time and I soon realized that my favorite pedicurist was now talking down to her fellow pedicurist maybe she is the boss now not sure but I definitely sense some form of belittlement and fear when she was speaking with the other employees. This place is trash. Went to get my nails done and they came out uneven. Also not even 24 hours my nail pops off. Went back today to get a refund because of how trash they were and they say no refund but have no sign or warning. All ladies did trash. My nails chipped, were bubbly and overall come out bad. They tried fixing them and just fucked them up more. Never recommend this place for anyone. Don't even think about trying them. Horrible. Max Nails down the street by wonderland are bomb. I have been here three times now and every time I am disappointed. They are always running late and I don't understand why they even bother to take appointments. One time I waited 30 min for a girl to show up to work. I am sitting here now, with my feet in the water and its 45min past my appointment time! I am a hairstylist and a busy mom and I understand the importance of trying to stay on schedule.They don't seem to try or even care. Also, they don't seem like they ever want to be there. So far my experience has been not great. I say that because I don't have the words. This place is is friendly but so unprofessional. I call this morning and ask for an appointment for 2 around 5pm. They tell me they can't and and the lastest they have available is 4:45. They than they'll me they can accept the 2 of us but one at 4:45pm and the other at 5pm....... it is now 5:15 pm i am still waiting. My friend sat here at 4:40 got in they than accepted 2 walk ins. They made such a big deal about not being able to have 2 appointments at five. 4 nail techs and a front desk girl. I will take my money elsewhere. Thank you nirvana for being what I expected. If your looking for the everyday nail salon there is sooooo much better out there. Try rosy at bells nail salon on Powell. Very professional and always able to keep appointments. Yesterday I was in there with my daughter for manicures. Mine was fine but the girl who did her fill and polish was constantly distracted by phone calls and other customers. She did a poor job on my daughter's nails with only one coat of paint and rough edges that were not filed well. When my daughter went back to have them fixed an appointment was made for her for the next day. When she went back in the girl was very rude to her and told her that that was the best that she could do and if she redid them it would look worse. My daughter insisted on her fixing them and the girl did but spent most of the time on the phone and talking in a foreign language to the other ladies in the salon. The girl had taken a before photo of my daughter's nails with her cell phone but after finishing them said that she did not need to take an after photo because she was right about them looking worse! I have been there before for pedicures and I'm very shocked and disappointed by this service we received. We will not be going back! read more

Very unsanitary and long wait time. Hurt my nails a lot and are very rough. They drill down my actual nail bed and kept buffing and budding and filing even when they were already very thin. I noticed she didn't clean any of the tools before using them on me!! Really grossed me out. read more

I am really disappointed in my service at Nirvana today. I asked for white tip solar nails. They do not have white tips. I got clear tips with white powder globbed onto them. There are rough spots where they were not adequately filed and smoothed out. I do not like the way it was done and do not like the end result. They are bulky and look fake. I also had a pedicure. My nail technician had no personality, the massage was mediocre (the "jewel" fell off shortly after I got home, the art work was $5.00 a toe and not particularly attractive). It cost me $75 and I am not pleased and will not go back. read more

Awful service! Paid $35 for a fill and shellac and it chipped the next day. Went back to get it fixed and the owner charged me $5! Tried to blame it on the fact I like my nails square and pointed. That's why it chipped how about you do a better job with the fill and polish. I'll never give my business again. read more

I noticed that the file they used on me had been previously used, and they didn't send me home with the one used on me which only confirmed my suspicions. I payed for the deluxe pedicure and wasn't impressed when I have to ask about why my cuticles weren't cut or pushed back , and someone who wasn't working on my feet spoke because the one working on me didn't understand and said I didn't need it without even speaking to her friend ... I then mentioned I hadn't had a pedicure in 4 months , and I did , but when the lady started cutting she seemed very scared and barley cut anything . The other woman told me I had to ask for it on top of that , and I reminded her I can go anywhere and not pay for a deluxe and get that service . I was double not impressed by someone else's initiative to argue with me when she wasn't working on my feet and hadn't exchanged words with the woman who had been . I will not be back ! read more

Came in with my wife and one of my bridesmaids before our wedding to get our nails done with solar nails as a wedding gift. The lady left our nails looking like they had a week of grow out on them my bridesmaid was so upset about it because she just paid $184 for the three of us to have our nails done. My bridesmaid ended up going elsewhere to get hers fix while my wife and I just delt with it. Not the first time we had a bad experience there my wife and I went to get pedicures done they burned me with hot water and a hot towel then left me there waiting while they went and did someone's manicure all the while my wife was done and waiting for me. I love getting my nails done at Nirvana. About 6 months ago I got an AWFUL manicure (somewhere else) and my husband convinced me to go to Nirvana and get them fixed before we went on vacation. They filed my nails more evenly and did a much better job with the polish. Now I always go to Nirvana for manicures or pedicures. read more

Nirvana Nails and Foot Spa in Gresham by Dicks. My friend was having her acrylic nails soaked off and paint her natural nails, and I was having an acrylic fill with gel polish. The girl started my friend soaking her nails off and then moved over to me. After she had filed down my nails she gave me a chance to look at them and see if I liked them. My index finger on my left hand was much shorter than the rest of my nails. I asked her to fix it and make it the same length as the other nails and she said once it was filed it was done, there was nothing else she could do about it. She offered to file down the rest of my nails to make them all the super short length. I declined this option because I didn't not want my nails that short in the first place, so I asked if she could just remove the nail and do a new nail to match the lengths of the rest of my nails. She declined this and said she couldn't do it. After a minute of talking she said she could do it but it would take at least a half hour to soak and then she said that I would have to pay for her to fix her mistake!!! (sounded like she didn't want to take the time do the work) I couldn't believe she was refusing to fix my nail in the first place but then to tell me I would have to pay for it?! so I said fine, can we just buff these out and paint them and not worry about the lengths, I would just deal paying $35 for crooked nails.. and she said NO! She said if I didn't like them and didn't want her to file them down then we were done and I just didn't have to pay for anything. She didn't give me any other option and moved tables to work on my friends nails. I told my friend that I would wait for her to get her nails done anyway, despite the bad experience I was having. The lady checked her nails and they weren't ready to remove yet so she disappeared to the back of the house. So I'm sitting there chatting with my friend about her wedding details, I'm her maid of honor, and the lady came up from the back of the house and told me that I needed to move and wait in the waiting area, she needed the table I was sitting at for her next customer (even though she was working on my friends nails, not sure how she could have gotten another customer...). I also didn't realize they would need the table I was sitting at even though there were three other tables available.. So I gathered alllll of my stuff, left my bride, and sat in the EMPTY lobby by myself. My friend, after all of this, decided she would just have her nails removed and not painted because she couldn't believe how rude the lady was to me. The lady finished filing off her nails and said she was good to go, her nails still had paint on them and were not buffed or anything! It looked like she had ripped off her acrylics by herself! Mind you, NO ONE CAME IN AND USED THE TABLE THAT I WAS SO RUDELY KICKED OUT OF. So my friend came up to the register to pay ($12 for removal that was left unfinished) and mentioned that she wasn't sure why I wasn't allowed to sit and talk with her since no one else had came in and we were talking about wedding details and the girl completely ignored her and moved her attention to the next person that was walking in. Absolutely horrible customer service. I would recommend not wasting your time OR money!!! read more

I was going over the prices for acrylic nails on their website and it said it costs $27. I got that because I didn't have much money and I really wanted to get my nails done. Everything was going well until the end. Tim told me the total was $32 and I told him that it says $27 and he came up with a lame excuse telling me that he put gel on my nails when he only put top coat on my nails at the end. He pretty much over charged me $5. I was really disappointed with how he lied to my face. I won't be going there anymore it was my first and last time going there. They will give any excuse to get more money out of people. read more

I've tried this place twice and have been let down both times. At first I thought I was just spoiled - I've been going to Princess Nail Salon on 39th & Holgate for forever, they're amazing, but now I live in Gresham. So, the big picture problems: they reuse implements - they don't offer to sell you your own implements to take with you and bring back the way other salons do. Both times I went, my pedicure budged within a couple hours of leaving the salon, even though I'm always extra careful after getting one. Today, I called to make an appointment around 1 and they asked if I could come in at 4. I agreed. Evidently they close at 5, so I showed up 10 minutes early. My technician barely let my feet soak before getting started and from then on, I felt like she was rushing through it. Very cursory callous smoothing. My pedicure only took 45 minutes. Like I said, my polish budged about an hour and a half later. All this, and they charge $5 more than my usual place. Not worth it. read more

Met family here for a surprise baby shower get together, all techs knew I was the celebrant, yet I felt I was given one of the worst techs who tried to convince me to opt for the most expensive pedi (since I deserve it), but I wanted to test her out and see how well she'd do. First off, I chose the $30 pedi and didn't receive anything more than a 5 (or less) min wax treatment for my callouses. Tech lady didn't bother trimming my cuticles well, rushed through my pedi - massage sucked, she didn't soften my heels at all! I didn't want shelllac but paid extra for French tips and her skills were awful! I asked for a rounded nail and got somewhat square shaped ones with rounded edges and my French tips were not symmetrical at all! Plus, she skimmed on the amount of nail polish used (which most places do anyway), but for $60 total without shellac, she could have used just a drop more on certain places. They offer water or tea, but the water comes warm and in a paper cup. Lastly, the utensils are reused (red flags esp for pregnant me), and I saw one of the techs briefly sterilizing some used ones for seconds at a time! Don't get me wrong, the tech lady that did my nails was somewhat polite, but it's pretty apparent that she lacks a passion for her work. Despite the amazing reviews that made me give this place a chance, I doubt I'll ever return! read more
