My first visit here was today for dinner. Located in a small dirty strip mall was the beginning of losing an appetite for Indian food. After we were seated, we looked over the menu for at least 15 min and water was filled in our glasses but we had to wait on this one waiter to take our order as he was covering 3 other tables. I asked for a drink menu and he pointed to the empty bar and said "no drinks". So I'm guessing this is a byob type of restaurant that I have never seen or been to. He never asked if we wanted anything else to drink besides water. As we ordered from the menu he noted that there were only specific kinds of nan available. As we waited on our food, the tables on both sides of us were covered with dirty dishes from the previous customers bc they don't remove the plates after you are done eating. The assorted appetizers were good and the main dishes were good and the food came out fast. The tamarind sauce was watery for the appetizers. We were not offered desserts at the end of the meal. Not a place I would visit again due to the dirty environment and lack of customer service. read more

Let me get one thing straight. The food is really really good! The 3 stars is for management. My friends waited 2 hours to pick up their food. We were visiting for the week and this was the only Indian place in the area, So we were excited to try it. First, their telephone line does not work. We had to physically go there and order. I hope they fixed it by now. Second, there is bad communication all around, on the phone and in person. My friend told me ridicules stories of how the manager was telling people, who had been waiting for hours, to leave because their food would take too long to come. What!? Other things, I shall not get into. Anyways, we finally did get our food at 10pm. ( we placed the order at 7pm) It was really tasty but they really need to change up management. Horrible service, was attending an expo and attended a dinner here after the show, nothing was ready, didn't even have clean plates, and told us to wait while they wash their dishes. The tandoori chicken was the worst, the bone in the chicken were hacked not sawed, resulting in small bone pieces being embedded in the meat, I still have a major toothache from biting into them. Typical Indian place with less staff. There was only 1 server and he seated people and cleaned tables and took orders. Decor is nothing to rave about. The leather or whatever was on the seats is really worn down. The food was OK, nothing to rave about. Had to ask the server 3 times to get our drinks. While we were waiting for our food there were a few families who were waiting to be seated. The owner told them it would be 45 minutes but the place was empty. The people in line asked if they can put their name down for seating and the owner goes, it is first come first serve. Someone asked him still there should be some order, the owner just shrugged his shoulder and left. Now for the best or worst part. The kitchen door was open to the street, you can see it from the parking lot. It was dirty and we were wondering how they passed a health inspection. I have a very low tolerance for spice and the tikka masala was a little borderline in terms of how much spice I can handle. I ordered a house salad and chicken on top, which is an option on doordash to place.... I get a call from the restaurant saying they don't do that when it's clearly something you can pick. I spend 30 min on the phone with a very rude man, knowingly the have salad and they have chicken on their menu. Then he says he's going to give it to me complementary but just the salad no chicken on top.... then I have another man saying I have to re order through door dash and pay for it (but they don't offer it though..) so finally I get through to my door dash guy waiting on the order and I have to pay for a salad over the phone THAT I ALREADY ORDERED AN HOUR AGO!!! terrible customer service!!!!! read more

Lovely, kind people with great service! Used to come here with friends before the virus hit and before they had closed for renovations. I'm sad they opened up right as the quarantine happened, because I've been craving their food! They're open for take-out now and I grabbed some simple lamb curry and naan for lunch.
