I highly recommend this place! I've been searching for Chinese food that reminds me of New York style, and in Texas, that's hard to come by. The fact that they had boneless spare ribs sealed the deal for me. I ordered through UberEats and made sure to get plenty so I'd have leftovers while visiting with family for the week. We tried the boneless spare ribs combo, General Tso's chicken combo, pepper steak with onions combo, and the house special lo mein. The standouts were definitely the spare ribs--tender, flavorful, and exactly what I've been craving. The lo mein was loaded with protein and had a great amount of shrimp. The egg rolls were also spot on, and I appreciated that they gave me a generous handful of duck sauce without me even asking. If I'm being picky, I'd say the pepper steak had a lot more peppers and onions than actual steak, and the General Tso's could've used a little more broccoli. The fried rice was a bit bland for my taste--I think I'd stick with plain white rice next time. Overall though, I really enjoyed everything and would absolutely order again. For anyone missing NY-style Chinese food, this is as close as I've found in the area. Definitely worth trying! read more

I was pleasantly surprised how good the food is at Bei Jing Restaurant. We had the crab Rangoon, vegetable lo mein and General Tao's chicken by delivery after a long day at the Hospital. We were primed for a wonderful Chinese meal as a post -Thanksgiving dinner, but we were disappointed! I should have checked, but got home to discover one entree missing entirely, moo shoo chicken with no plum sauce, and overall less than stellar food. It was not up to par to previous orders! Saw a review written that said this Chinese food is just as good as up North...well I'm from Boston and it's not. Got the PuPu for (2) and a side of chicken fingers. I took pics and you can see the "chicken fingers" are no larger than the end of my fork. They cut these so small and thin, almost no chicken in them. The PuPu has typical stuff, check this out: the egg rolls were quite good, the deep fried fish triangles they serve have more oil in them than a 14 year old boy's face, the beef teriyaki on a stick was made with very salty soy sauce (a bit overpowering), the fried chicken wings were tastey but one had all the bones busted in it which was hard to eat. The spareribs were dry and devoid of flavor. The fried shrimp was flattened out and these too were tasty. Finally, there were (2) 4" breaded and fried cylinders that if we're to give me $1000, I couldn't tell you what they were! Very, very disappointed meal. We've had food from four other Chinese restaurants in the area and this place is not as good as the others. It's edible and tastes OK, but not great. It seemed like there was very little meat in the sesame beef, lots of the sesame fried topping was on the plate with no beef when I would cut off a piece. The rice is a yellow rice, I prefer the other fried rice offered in the majority of chinese restaurants. The fried dumplings were just OK also. read more

Good food, but their sauce is a little on the sweet side. The restaurant is located in a shopping center with a Food Lion off of 501. They do not offer delivery so you have to go pick it up. Prices are very reasonable, portions are large, and my food has always been hot and ready when I've arrived or shortly thereafter. I was in MB for vacation and I came here per the good reviews on yelp, it was also really close to the place I was staying. Sad to report that the people in the area clearly don't know what good Chinese food is. I ordered twice from here, first time I ordered hunan chicken, the second time I got chicken with black bean sauce and fried rice. Everything tasted really bland, not even soy sauce or salt could help enhance the flavor.
