Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing. The service was quite poor; I had to wait a long time without any acknowledgment from the staff, which was frustrating. I ordered the General Tso's Chicken lunch special. While the portion size was ok, the meat-to-rice and veggie ratio wasn't too bad more chicken which was good because the rice was too salty, the chicken itself tasted more like orange chicken rather than traditional General Tso's. The sauce lacked authenticity, and the chicken seemed overcooked. Additionally, the floors were a bit dirty, which didn't make for the most comfortable dining environment. Considering the lack of attentive service and the overall cleanliness issues, I can't really recommend this spot. Myrtle Beach has plenty of other Chinese options that might offer a better experience overall. read more

All of the strip mall Chinese restaurants look so similar. This one is just the same. So the food you eat the determining factor. This one is a great go to spot! They use a unique flavor profile and create a delicious flavor with their food. I had the cashew chicken and substituted low mein noodles in place of rice. Perfectly seasoned and just right cooked. This is a great place when you crave Chinese. They do have some nice seat available but the dining room is small. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend. read more

We got delivery from China Dragon again on another Myrtle Beach trip. The delivery time is amazing, it was probably only 20 minutes from the time we ordered until the meal was delivered, it was all hit and freshly made. Docking a star this time became my favorite meal, Kung Pao had a really thick and darker sauce than usual, almost gravy thick. It was also very hot when i just ordered it regular hot, my husband got the hot and spicy beef with pork fried rice. I ordered it a level hotter than mine and it was hotter so all of them were a bit too hot for our liking. My daughter got the chicken fried rice and we got Lo mein to share. Those were good, but the fried rice in general just wasn't as good as in the past. My son got the boneless spare ribs which he liked. There were quite a few even in the smaller order. Overall, if this was my first time eating at this place, I wouldn't go back. However we have gone here in years past and the meals were better then. Also, delivery time was super fast, so we may still try it again next trip for delivery. read more

Very good food!!! The steamed dumplings are to delicious and the sauce they come with is amazing!!!! The egg rolls are very large, crispy, and filled with flavor!!!! The pork fried rice was really good, and well-seasoned!! My husband and I both ordered general tso chicken and we ordered different levels of spicy, I ordered mild and my husband did very spicy. Neither of our orders tasted spicy at all, so that's why I'm going 4 stars instead of 5. We ordered on Uber eats and the receipt was correct, it even said to include eating utensils since we are at a hotel, however we didn't get any, or napkins. Luckily the hotel helped us out with that. Everything was really good, we were just disappointed about the lack of spice in our chicken, especially since they asked what level we wanted with our order. We also were bummed to find out we didn't have anything to eat with or napkins once we got our food. I was so hopeful, but this food was just awful. By far the worst Chinese food I've ever had, with the exception of another Myrtle Beach Chinese restaurant. Sesame chicken texture was stringy, and the sauce may have been sweet and sour sauce - it was red. Sesame seeds sprinkled over the top did not magically turn it into sesame chicken. Steamed dumplings had an odd taste and texture. I don't even know what was in the egg roll. Fried rice was yellow and tasteless. I have had Chinese takeout all over the country, both good and bad, and this was by far the worst. I really wanted to like this place. I'm sorry. Don't eat here. read more

December, 2021. I love me some Chinese food and it is a constant struggle to find anything good at the beach, but I keep trying. This place was my latest try and fail. Tried this place cause it was close by. While waiting for mine there were lots of people coming in to pick up orders and tons of phone calls for deliveries as well. I did hear the girl on the home telling someone they have a separate delivery charge that goes to the driver for gas, must be a percentage of your total cause she told them that would be $3.42 extra. Anywho, the food. It came out pretty quickly but was just okay. Nothing I would want again or go back to. Items come in small or large but the small is really small and for the price, it just isnt worth it. The shrimp mei fun, usually one of my favorites, was very bland, had no seasoning or sauce at all and for some unknown reason had celery in it...vile weed! The broccoli in garlic sauce wasnt done enuf as per the chinese way but was very spicy if you like spicy. Fried dumplings/pot stickers comes 8 to an order but once you get them you see why, they are small like japanese goyza. Pepper steak with onion was the reason I hate beef dishes at chinese places, low end cuts of meat full of gristle and again with the not done veggies. I know its the traditional chinese way, I just hate crunchy veggies. Try somewhere else, you will be happier. read more

Short story. Hubby and I grew up surrounded by amazing Chinese restaurants then we decided about a decade ago to move to North Carolina. Where it's virtually impossible to find great Chinese food. So our expectations weren't all that high. We come to Myrtle fairly frequently and both were craving Chinese. So naturally I stalked Yelp for shops with good reviews. Unfortunately our hotel was outside of the China Dragon delivery range. But I'm a lucky gal and the hubby offered to pick it up. So we ordered from the China Dragon at 7701 North Kings HWY.. the food was sooooooo good. Even my kids loved it. We had boneless spare ribs which were mostly meat and not all fatty like a lot of bad places provide. Pork fried rice was REALLY good and no peas! Which is the best kind! Peas do not belong in pork fried rice.. Orange chicken, beef and broccoli, crab Rangoon, lo mein. All of it so good. Only item that wasn't as good as everything else were the egg rolls. This isn't the best Chinese takeout I've ever had but it is by far the best I've had in the Carolinas, we live in North Carolina (Fayetteville area) and the Chinese food is . This restaurant is pretty good, we got lomein and mei fun both were good. I had to add soy sauce to the mei fun but I usually do that anyways. The pork egg roll was ok and the won't ton soup was meh, it wasn't disgusting, just not won't ton soup that I am accustomed to (tasted like basic chicken broth with pork dumplings) over all the meal was decent and fast, it was dinner on our last night in North Myrtle. read more

On time delivery was appreciated. Food was just so-so. Very little chicken was included in chicken fried rice.

I have ordered General Two's from here for several years. Last time I had it --it was horrible. I didn't complain thinking it's a fluke. They are great most of the time. Todays was disgusting. Most of it in the garbage. I tried going on their webpage to give direct feedback but there is no place to make comments. I could have called but chose not to. I've had it period. My husband and I spent the day shopping and were extremely hungry. We had not ordered Chinese in a while so we decided to try the Chinese restaurant close to our house. We were extremely disappointed by the portions for the price that we paid for each combination platter. Each Platter cost close to $11 which is not Bad when you're receiving a protein, rice, and an eggroll but when the portion is about five pieces of chicken a quarter cup of rice and an eggroll that's half the size of a normal eggroll you would be quite disappointed. The Boneless spare ribs were extremely fatty and undercooked. Sweet and sour chicken was decent but the fried rice had no flavor. I do not recommend this place to anyone looking for a good Chinese restaurant. They just don't got it. Today was my first visit, and I was very impressed. The service was fast and efficient, also friendly. I ordered the general Tso's chicken. It was very flavorful, and tender. My favorite part was the pork fried rice. They use a very moist yellow rice, and it was delicious. My daughter had sesame chicken, and also is very satisfied with her meal. I literally have no complaints. Also had the egg drop soup, and it actually had a flavor. Often, I find when I order egg drop soup it is far too bland. I will definitely be returning, even though there is a Chinese restaurant about two minutes from my house. I will drive the 15 minutes one way. read more
