We were in the mood for Chinese food for lunch. We found this restaurant near us and their menu had all the dishes one would find in a Cantonese chinese restaurant. My granddaughter, who is a vegetarian, enjoyed their vegetable fried rice. My wife, who is trying to eat healthier, had their steamed chicken and broccoli dish which came with a tasty garlic sauce on the side. My dish, the seafood delight, was amazing! The dish normally comes with a white sauce but I prefer a spicy garlic sauce. The dish was loaded with shrimp, scallops and crab along with a nice array of vegetables. And the portion was huge! I only ate half and had enough for another full meal. I also had a shrimp egg roll which was nicely fried and very tasty. This was my first time here. I am visiting from Las Vegas and I can honestly say DO NOT GO THERE ! The customer service is trash the guy literally was rude and change the price and he was asking me if I had enough on my card , All-because my card did not go through because I'm out of state like basically trying to call me broke and he didn't even apologize and he was holding onto my card until I had to ask him for it back . He was with a little chubby boy. I asked the guy if I could get my chicken extra crispy and he said okay but did not tell the cook at all and he was tying to charge me extra for duck sauce and for an extra fortune cookie which would of made it two cookies. We just wanted to find a place where the food was good and fast! Yelp reviews were reasonable so we took a chance. It seemed to be a pretty popular local joint as it got busier as we were eating. It wasn't all that great. The service was quick. The woman who took our order was nice and welcoming. The curry chicken was good, but way over spiced with red pepper flakes. Dumplings were not flavorful, which was unfortunate, because I love dumplings and some of the recommendations from reviews were the dumplings. The beef in the beef and broccoli (not pictured) was a little tough and tasted like they cooked it in the same pan as the curry. Sadly will probably not eat here again. read more

Our first night in Myrtle Beach, we came here for dinner. We walked in, placed our order, and waited. Prices were competitive with pretty much any Chinese I've ever purchased. My only complaint would be that literally every single person (a family with kids and two separate guys) all got their food before us after coming in after us. Standard take out Chinese. It was good, but not very flavorful. The good - General Tso's chicken was the standout. It had a decent flavor and was yummy. The shrimp fried rice had plenty of shrimp. At least I don't think I ate all of them myself. They have a mildly spicy chili oil. The mediocre - Beef and broccoli was bland although the broccoli was cooked just right. Egg rolls were better than the spring rolls, but neither all that awesome. What I didn't need - the egg drop soup was flavorless. They provided won ton strips, which would have been good if they hadn't been stale. Service was friendly and they had it all ready between when I hung up the phone and drove up. This place has decent reviews, but the food was not the best. Beef was very hard to chew, rice was dry. The price is good though so you don't spend too much but don't expect much. I ordered veggie egg foo young as I have before with egg fried rice. Veggie egg Foo young has broccoli, onions, carrots, and mushrooms in it mine only had broccoli and onions but that's not the reason for my disappointment. They now add flour to the egg Foo young...they said just a little but they added so much that it didn't look like egg Foo young, it looked like a broccoli patty...you couldn't even taste the egg and the inside tasted like dough. I called and let them know because I have ordered for years the same thing and I wanted them to know I was upset. I don't know if they are adding flour to have more or what but I also make egg Foo young at home and you don't need flour. They said they will give me 10% off my next order and tell the chef not to put flour in mine the next time and to make sure I have all the veggies( you shouldn't have to tell the chef to give you all the veggies when they come in the veggie egg Foo young and if you only put a little flour (not true) it shouldn't make it taste like dough. Funny story. Three months in America, my wife desperately needs some authentic Chinese food. The owner is kindly enough to make special dish for her. Not mom's cooking good but easily nostalgia/craving- quenching good. They made stir fry bok choy northern Chinese style and green pepper beef sichuan style. Great take out place! 5 stars for two reasons: 1-amazing hot and sour soup. Most places will have a watered down version they concocted from some left over wonton broth but this place's H&S is legit. If you're a lover of H&S soup then this place will fill that hole that's been aching since your last good bowl. 2-Kung POW chicken! They use real slices of chicken rather than the little gristley chicken bits. I grew up only having the gristle bits in king pow but it seems more recently many places have moved up to the sliced pieces of chicken. Not sure which is traditional and I kind of enjoyed the old chunks but when you bite down and hear that rubbery crunch and try to hold back a gag it can ruin the rest of the meal. You end up gingerly biting down on every fork full (or stick full) like you've got a mouthful of landmines. You know what I mean. Anyway, the flavor and sauce was good/thick enough and the chicken is safe! Also had spring rolls and the vegetable and tofu soup. Def try the Vegetable soup if you're sick.
