Last night me and my family ordered from here because our favorite place closed early so we decided to give it a try . First I wanna say it's smelt horrible in there which could have been from the outside cause it smelt just as bad outside . We had ordered General Tso chicken which for one it didn't even taste like it and the chicken looked a bit off . None the less we woke up with food poisoning . I ordered sesame chicken and crab rangoons. The sesame chicken did not taste normal and was doughy. The sauce was bland with hardly any flavor The rice was good and the egg roll. The crab rangoons were nasty. The filling was Runny with large chunks of imitation crab. They were awful. I threw them away. I only ate half my meal. It is difficult to find decent Chinese food all of the sudden. Even the Asian calabash restaurant down the road was terrible. I hope it improves! read more

Located in the Lowe's Foods shopping center, there is plenty of parking available. There are spots right in front of the restaurant, although they can get filled quickly as there are several other businesses on either side. There are also handicapped places right in front, but those are often filled as well. Inside is a small seating area for maybe 15 people. This is mostly a take out/ delivery place. I tried to use their online ordering through the web site, but couldn't get past the part where I did not want to create an account. I called in, and the person taking the order repeated everything at the end, which is a nice touch. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. Everything was ready and waiting at the counter when I arrived 15 minutes later. Each entre was packaged in a sealed plastic container. The soups were in Styrofoam cups with lids. The egg rolls and shrimp toast were in waxed paper bags. All this was in a paper bag, which was inside a plastic bag. Everything was well packaged and nothing leaked on the way home. The shrimp toast initially looked burnt, but it was fried in very hot oil, so only the outside was crispy. Inside was a warm and delicious mix with a lot of shrimp. This was some of the better shrimp toast I have had. The egg rolls were slightly soft and not as crispy as I would expect, but I think this was more due to the time spent in the waxed paper bag. Any moisture from the hot egg roll could not escape. The egg roll was stuffed full and tasted quite good. The hot and sour soup was also good. It was a bit thicker than I prefer, although the added thickener was well mixed. The soup was not particularly spicy, but it did have a nice sour flavor. The pork fried rice was pretty good as well. There was a good amount of pork included along with carrots, peas, and onions. One person in our party had a crunch while chewing. It appeared to be pork gristle, but that was the only problem noted. The vegetable delight combination was well cooked. It was more bland than I expected, but this was due to the sauce used. The vegetables all tasted fresh. The General Tso's chicken was prepared properly. It was not spicy, although I assume you could ask for increased heat level. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The Moo Shu vegetables didn't necessarily look appetizing, but it tasted very good. Moo Shu results in a brown sauce which mutes the colors of the vegetables, but the flavors all can come through. The "pancakes" are regular tortillas, but they are great for making moo shu burritos. The steak teriyaki was very good. You get four decent strips of beef on skewers, marinated in teriyaki sauce. the meat was tender and very flavorful. I think this was my favorite dish, with the moo shu coming in a close second. I will definitely come back the next time I am here. They have a very large menu, and I am interested in trying many of the items. read more

What a drag, my last three deliveries were crap! This place used to be great when the previous management had it. Inconsistent every time! So disappointing I'm attempting to eat my shrimp and broccoli but it's sitting in a half an inch of greasy peanut oil and they didn't include any rice with my dish. They and every Chinese restaurant always gave a small container of white rice with each order but when I called to let them know it was missing, she told me I didn't order any rice. Then argued with me and said no Chinese restaurant ever just gives you rice! I've been getting rice with every order my entire life from every Chinese takeout place I've ever been in! Eaten here a couple of times. The last time I had Kung Pao, which was to be a combination of shrimp and chicken with peanuts. There were 11 peanuts in my dinner portion, four shrimp, negligible chicken, and loads of zucchini. It was supposed to be spicy, but it was so very mild as to be almost nonexistent, even though I have to say I do not like it really hot. Just tried this place for the first time. I loved the chicken with cashews. My wife had the shrimp with black bean sauce done hot and spicy. She was very pleased. My granddaughter enjoyed her shrimp fried rice and had no trouble finding the shrimp. They were huge compared to what we usually find in local Chinese take outs. The food is really good here at the China Dragon. I had the egg Foo young it was great with the best gravy I ever had and I am from metro NY. My wife had the sesame chicken and that was also great. Both came with pork fried rice which was also very good. We ordered some appetizers fried wanton, shrimp toast, and shrimp rolls also very good. The wanton soup was also good. Every time we order from here, the food varies drastically from the previous order. We almost always order chicken lo mein. Sometimes it's made with lo mein noodles, other times it's made with thin spaghetti. And it's clearly thin spaghetti. Sometimes the egg rolls are hot and crispy, other times they are soggy. The sweet-and-sour chicken doesn't have much chicken in it. The pieces are super tiny and it's mostly over fried breading. That shrimp toast was so saturated with oil, it was completely inedible. We felt they had put that shrimp toast in oil that hadn't fully heated up yet. Sometimes we request an ingredient to be left out, and it's almost always included. If ordering delivery, sometimes they come within 15 minutes, other times it's an hour and 15 minutes and the food is ice cold because they have no way of keeping it warm. We've given this place five chances and it was four too many. read more
