The restaurant had a nice little set up , the music that was playing completely the overall vibe . The jerk chicken, was smoked just right and literally fall off the bone good . I would recommend this business, be sure to park in the middle of the business and paradise. I gave four stars because even though the food was tasty I'm a bit bias due to my husband Jamaican background and cooking. It could've used a tad bit more seasoning. I didn't mind the customer service because it seem authentic and it was a bit of crowd. My food was pipping hot and the young lady that served us was straight forward and to the point. We ordered oxtails and jerk chicken. The plantains was delicious, cabbage as well. The rice and peas didn't have the coconut flavor that I'm use too. The oxtails was tender but still needed more season. My husband had the jerk, which was kinda bland for his taste but hella spicy. All in all decent taste and great customer service. read more

We were looking for authentic food during our stay at the beach and a native Jamaican from a shop nearby recommended this place. Awesome food. Pleasant service. We had the jerk chicken (seasoned to perfection), steamed cabbage and rice and peas. Went on a Sunday night around dinner time. They are closed on Mondays, but had they been open, we would've gone back the next day. The food was that good! read more

Food was good but the WAIT, jesus! Smh Very flavorful. Not a disappointment. The Rice n Beans was great. Ox Tail was Spicier than the Jerk Chicken. They forgot my plantains and had no potato salad. Food is amazing they were a little stingy on the oxtail but it was delicious rice and peas was good the plantain were good and the jerk chicken was well seasoned and delicious too. The only reason I did not give it 5 star is because it took long to get the food seemed like we were there for 30 mins and there's a lack of good customer service. Very disappointed with their jerk chicken. I am a big fan of Caribbean food, and especially jerk chicken. This was more like a simple baked chicken leg with rice and cabbage, no jerk sauce, no jerk flavor. Clarenden nearby is not too great either, but their jerk chicken is better. read more

I didn't eat here. We went in to order and actually got dirty looks for coming in. Took about 5 minutes for someone to even come to take our order even though we were the only ones there. We all felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. Everything we asked for was at least a 30 minute wait. 30 minutes when no one is there. No way I was waiting in a place I'm not welcome. Don't waste your time here unless you want to feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. read more

First I want to start by saying I've had authentic jerk chicken many times...in Jamaica and it was awesome. This place serves authentic jerk chicken. So don't believe it when you read it was too spicy. It was jerk chicken and it was yummy! They're plantains were mushy and tasted a little strange though. I just happened to be driving by & wondering where to eat that wasn't a pancake house before going to the airport. And then...ahhh (singing) jerk... friggin... chicken. I was so excited to go here as it had been almost 6 months since I had had any. The place is pretty small with a few tables set up for eat in, although I'm guessing most orders are to go. It could be because the tables hadn't been wiped off even though it was nearly empty when I arrived or because the people were extremely rude, unlike being in Jamaica, they weren't nice at all. Not nice to take our order and not nice generally. So if you're looking for medium priced authentic jerk chicken and can deal with some rude people who work there, stop in with a smile on your face, say ya mon to the jerk! read more
