I used to think this was a legitimate stand up company that took care of issues that arised due to their workmanship, but I stand corrected. I had to go through the ringer to get insurance information for the company so I can take my truck elsewhere to be repaired from the shotty work they did. They did injectors on my 2002 Duramax. After issues came up from specifically his installation of brand new injectors, he said "After doing my research, I think this is what's wrong" several times. After I took it to Gillette Diesel to get it diagnosed, he said, "They would know more than I do." He also did other work on the vehicle: motor mount (another company had to do over), wheel bearings(twice), e-brake that still doesn't work after he installed a brand new one. After weeks of trying to get him to take care of things, I asked for the insurance information again, because he was originally going to claim it. He would not return calls or messages until I said I had no choice but to subpoena him for the insurance information to move forward. He said, "See you in court. Don't send one message, review or nothing. I will press charges. Your blocked from all contact at this point." I will update my review after his insurance hears all of our voice recordings with him stating it was completely his fault and he would take care of it. read more

I took my 2004 Chrysler PT Cruiser in for a total AC system replacement in April of 2015 to A Auto. Today, June 16, I took my car in to a different shop, Reliable Auto Mechanics located in Sandy, because the AC did not work. It turns out that A Auto Repair did not replace any AC parts on my car with new parts. Despite being charged for new parts and a total AC system replacement A Auto only used Stop Leak which only temporarily fixed my AC system. At one point soon after I picked my car up from A Auto I noticed that the AC condenser was not shiny brand new because this part can easily be seen without raising the hood. I took my car back to A Auto and told them to please install a new condenser. He did. At that point I regret not having another mechanic verify all of the other parts. It took my current mechanic 2 seconds to realize that the AC parts were much older than 1 year old. The AC system for my car is currently being fixed the way it should have been. It is possible the mechanic at A Auto chose to be dishonest with me because I am a dark-skinned Asian American. It is possible he chose this path because I was new to the area. He jokingly called me a drug dealer because I paid for everything in cash. I told him I work, save money, and always prepare for emergencies. The customer service skill is great, and they worked with my financial hardship. HOWEVER, they take too long for their tasks. It took them 3 weeks to come up with my estimate. I asked them if they could just replace the Engine Control Unit (computer) instead of fixing wiring together. They told me they won't do it, and they will not start working on it until I pay the full amount ($1,700). I took my car in the last week of October. I made a full payment before Thanksgiving. Every week, I either called or visited them to check on the progress. My car had been sitting outside until mid-December. I've been very patient but it has made my life very difficult without having my only means of transportation. Every time I checked I was told "there are 3-5 cars ahead of you but we'll get to your car". Then the last thing I was told was "we will try to get it done before Christmas". Christmas has come and went, and today (Dec 26) I called them only to find out they're closed until next year. Answering machine said "sorry for the inconvenience", and inconvenience is right. I chose to repair my car at a shop and not at the dealership because they told me the earliest they can get to my car is 3 weeks. I should've gone with the dealership. Just curious, are they working on other cars or squeezing other customers in front of me? I wish they would give their customers' a little consideration and tell us the exactly how long it would take for the repairs to be done. I still haven't got my car back yet, but what quality should I expect from a shop that can't work hard enough to get repairs done fast enough causing the minimal inconvenience to their customers? read more

This is the best auto repair shop that I have ever been to. The staff was more than willing to go the extra mile for us. Our car was having issues with shifting gears and we took it in for them to look at. Turns out we just needed our transmission fluid replaced but they knew it would be a while before they could look at our car. So they literally drove us home and picked us up after they finished diagnosing the problem and fixing it for us. That way we didn't have to wait at the shop at all and didn't have to scramble to find a ride. I was very impressed. To top it off they gave us a great rate and were very helpful in explaining everything to us, who are not very car savvy. I will definitely be back for all of my auto repair needs. read more

Very friendly! And reasonably priced. Took a little longer than expected to fix my car because the part didn't arrive in time but great service. While fixing my car another thing broke and they just told me to bring it in another time and they would fix it for free. Would definitely recommend! read more
