Normally I wouldn't take time to write a negative review, I would just stop going to the business, but I am making an exception this time because I think this example really highlights a lack of caring for families and their schedules.
We have purchased two full rounds of passes to this location (which means about 20 passes for close to $350 dollars). When we showed up yesterday we were told that our 4 passes we still had on our account had expired about 10 days prior. I mentioned I didn't remember when we purchased them, that we had bought two full sets of passes previously and we even had a coupon on our fridge at home for free session that I hadn't brought because we had passes. I was told that since our passes had expired (worth $69 in pre-paid money) they were not available for use and we would have to pay $43 for two kids to play for an hour. This essentially means we would have been paying $112 ($69 for "expired" passes + $43) for an hour of play. We left. We spent an hour including driving to Ninja Nation, waiting for two other customers to be helped, waiting for an off-site manager to be called, and being told an exception would not be made and then handed a card and told to email a manager and "explain the situation."
What situation? This company doesn't do a good job of telling families that passes expire. There are no printed pass punch cards to keep track of how many passes you have and no reminder or communications of how/when passes expire(d). As a working mother, the last thing I am going to remember is when ninja nation passes expire and that shouldn't be a requirement of a business that wants repeat customers. We have sent at least four families to this location who have all bought passes. When family or friends travel through, we give them this location. We will stop doing that and I plan to share widely of this issue with this business. Why do passes expire at all?
If you are trying to find something for your kids to do, skip this place. You can find a better option locally that is cheaper. read more
