Wendy and Paul Hartman have a wonderful gymnastics and tumbling studio here. Both of my daughters, ages 3 and 5, love to come here! They are so friendly, as are the instructors that both my daughters have had. They are also patient and they interact really well with the kids. The gym is clean and organized, with seats for parents to watch through big windows. It's also a nice place to hold a kid's birthday party! I would highly recommend this place to others! read more

We started at desert tumbling after going to oasis gymnastics for awhile. We loved oasis but it just became too much for us and wanted something a little more easy going where our daughter could keep up with her skills. The owners here are great. They do not pressure the kids to move up but challenge them to work on their skills and improve. The coaches are also really good with the kids and my daughter loves coming. They offer several open gym times as well so if you need to take a break from classes open gyms are also an option. We'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

I don't normally write reviews, but I was shocked to see less than 5 stars on some reviews so I felt compelled to write one! Our daughter has been tumbling on on off at Desert Tumbling for a several years. The owners, Wendy and Paul, are incredibly nice and professional! My children and I comment regularly how the environment that they have created is very homey and inviting. The instructors are great and have been with them as long as we have been attending. It's a just a super fun and relaxed atmosphere and my daughter has come a long way with tumbling. The place is always clean! Definitely worthy of a 5 star review! read more

After we went in with our group of 10 kids they asked us to leave because one girl in our party has Down Syndrome. Is that even legal?????

I called to inquire about private tumbling lessons for my teenager who is thinking of trying out for cheerleading but doesn't have tumbling skills. Paul said that before we spent money on privates, I should bring her in to open gym for an evaluation. Because my daughter is a beginner gymnast, and I've seen the experienced tumblers at open gym, I asked if we could do it some other time, as she would be uncomfortable in front of everyone. Paul said that since cheerleaders have to perform in front of crowds, maybe she should re-evaluate cheer. Seriously? Does a cheerleader go in front of everyone and do a cheer they never learned before? Of course not, they practice in private and perform when they are ready. Do you know anything about my daughter except I said she was shy? Not the type of comment I'd want for a potential coach. Not the smartest business move either.... read more

Fun place for my two year old to run and tire herself out for an hour, they don't need much more then that. Very nice ladies that helped at the front desk, seemed very into keeping the place clean with shoes off and no food in play area, which I totally get. The reason I gave 3 stars is because five minutes after I was told how important it is to keep shoes off, mine and my childs, the ladies were walking everywhere with their boots and tennis shoes on! All over the mat where my childs barefoot feet play, and mine. They even got in the foam pit to play with the kids, with boots on!! Very unsanitary for a place that seems to take the shoes off rule so serious, practice what you preach ladies! I don't want my two years old face and body all over where your boots went! read more

My 11 year old daughter loves Desert Tumbling. She's been going for about 3 months and goes twice a week, just for fun and exercise. The owners are friendly and professional. I love that the owner Paul is actually out there on the floor working with the kids. My daughter missed several classes due to illness in Nov and they're allowing her to go to open gym to make up the time, instead of me trying to squeeze in make up classes at a designated time. The waiting room is a little small, but the gym is itself is very nice and clean. read more

They keep the class small, to make sure they can give the kids all the attention they need & my daughter absolutely loves it! I'd recommend this place to anyone! Desert tumbling is such an amazing place to send your children to burn their extra energy and learn new skills. They are super accommodating to all skill levels and ages. I have never encountered customer service so poor I have felt inclined to post comments here. I took 5 kids and arrived just before 7:00 for open gym which started at 7. There was a sign on the door that said open gym was full and closed. Some of the kids I had taken were later being picked up there by their parents, and I had never been to this location before. I could see open seats in the viewing area and suggested we just go in so I could see the gym and maybe kids would come off early in the next hour or so and our kids could go on. We were stopped by a man who said open gym was closed and put a hand in front of my child to stop us and literally walked toward us pushing us out the door. I was speechless. One of my daughter's friends spoke up saying her mom was picking her up here later, and he stated, 'catch a bus.' I'm still speechless, not only was this man incredibly rude, I would never entrust my children with such a person. Clearly, we will never return. read more

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. All they care about is getting your money and once your there, they treat you as if you do not matter. Their very young coaches are extremely inexperienced in comparison to other gyms my daughters have been to. We tried open gym a couple of times and were very disappointed. My child was injured because the coach did not spot her appropriately and of course they did not do anything about it. They just shrugged it off like it was nothing. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE! They do not care about you!!! read more
