You are welcome to one free class per child. I brought them in a few weeks later. One tried ballet, and the other gymnastics. We loved the ballet class and teacher. She was so sweet. Continuing with ballet. We are at a place of just experiencing dance and having fun, not professionally performing. Our youngest liked the gymnastics. I didn't mind at all that they had 2 classes going on at once. There was plenty of room, and they didn't get in the way of one another. The teacher was kind and full of smiles. I was concerned as boy did they ever do a ton of summersaults. My daughter was new and was doing a lot without supervision, and I was waiting for her to injure herself. I wish the young teacher would have paid attention more, and did more spotting. I would have appreciated her guiding her how to do things safely and correctly such as round offs and the bars. Not that I wanted her to know how to do it perfectly, just safely. She also kept on getting kicked in the head by another classmate who was being silly and starting behind her too soon. That was totally missed by the teacher as well. Watching seeing the girls do things thry way they were without anyone guiding them, someone is bound to be hurt. Each room has a table and 2 chairs to watch through the windows. A bit small in the hallway. I tried to be thoughtful and make sure people who couldn't stand a long time had seating. They have a couple of benches when entering to sit, but you wont be able to watch the kids in their classes. A one hour class is great. We will be back for ballet, but will be going elsewhere for gymnastics.

My daughter loves coming here. She has grown in skill and confidence which is awesome!read more

The staff are so friendly, I feel as though they really care about you and are so supportive of your goals. Their class size is small enough so you get some personalized attention. I go and just workout hard every time. They have kid care if you need it and convenient class times. If you want a great and supportive community, this is a wonderful place to join. I couldn't be happier.

To give some back ground, this is the 3rd gym I've attended and signed up for. (My first one has officially closed and the second one is too far away from my new house!) I was so nervous about finding a new gym, that it took me months to even set foot in this one, despite the fact it was close to work. Finally I gave it a shot. I originally started attending classes as part of the "nutrition challenge" last year. I only attended the specialty classes (yoga, gymnastics, barbells, redline) which definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone. The nutrition aspect, the working with a team part, and the trying new types of classes was AMAZING! I knew I wanted to sign up for this gym by the time the challenge was over. My nerves about not fitting in or inadequacy went FLYING out the window after my first couple of classes. The diversity of coaches, people, and personalities makes this a great place to work out. It's this diversity helps everyone feel welcome and "trusting" to start their fitness routine. Whether your new and scaling your workouts, or advanced and pushing to the next level- this could be a great place for you. (If you're overly competitive and have a crappy attitude, this isn't the place for you!) Dead Red has a "team" feel and I appreciate how welcoming the coaches have been. The people here are personable and understand that life can be overwhelming, stressful, and downright hard. At the end of the day- this place works with you and challenges themselves to know you better for the sake of self improvement. If you're curious, I'd suggest a drop in class for sure. There are many time and types!

He started with very little swim skills and had always been a bit fearful of the water. Taydem made him feel super comfortable and he looked forward to lessons with her each day. She was always very friendly and professional while also making the lessons fun for him! The techniques she used were easy for him to catch on to and remember. I am very pleased to say his safety and comfortability in the water improved greatly over the course of his lessons! We will be doing another semester this summer just to allow him more time to build upon the skills he has learned. Overall, our experience with Kidtastics has been great and we would highly recommend them and Taydem!

We had an incredible experience with Kidtastics, specifically our instructor Tori Fraga. We decided…read moreto commit to two weeks of 1:1 swim lessons at our home for 2 weeks, (8 lessons, 30 mins each), because despite almost 2 years of weekly group swim lessons at local swim schools, I wasn't confident my 5-year old was truly water safe. I worried about her overconfidence in the pool (thinking she could swim because of the lessons), yet not knowing how to get herself to the side of the pool and out, or swimming without assistance safely. The local swim schools seemed to focus on specific skills like floating on her back and wouldn't target other skills without her doing this, despite her having ear issues that made this very uncomfortable. At the end of the day, that wasn't going to keep her from drowning and I wanted her to be water safe, then start learning strokes. Tori listened to our experience and goals for Michaela and exceeded our expectations. By the end of two weeks, Michaela was not only completely water safe (able to swim to the side of the pool and get out without assistance), but also learned freestyle, backstroke and butterfly, two types of dives and able to dive for items at the bottom of the pool without issue. After the lessons concluded, Michaela swam in our pool for 45 mins with zero support and even practiced strokes and dives. This level of skill would have taken years of weekly lessons and much more money spent in a swim school. This was absolutely worth the investment and daily time commitment for two weeks. Michaela and our whole family adores Tori; her enthusiasm for swimming and teaching was palpable. She built a lasting relationship, connection and impact on Michaela, beyond just advancing her swimming skills. Thank you, Kidtastics and Tori!! We would recommend Kidtastics to any family with a child that has any level of swim goals.

I hesitated…read morecoming here for a long time because of what I have heard, but after someone recommended it I thought we would try, but there are several reasons why we will not go back. 1. One of the coaches (I believe level 2 and/or comp) was so crazy for the first few months we went. She would yell and scream at her kids and do over the top dramatic movements showing her disappointment, super critical, and rude. Granted, my daughter was not in her class, but I sat there (seats are right front and center of everything) and watched and listened to that coach. I vowed my daughter would never be in her class. The last month she seems to have calmed down so maybe someone talked to her about it, but those 3+ months of her being unhinged was enough for me to want out. No coach should act like she did. Coaches should give feedback and show them what to do to improve, not be unhinged about it. 2. I had to prove two times that I paid - shows they had bad bookkeeping. They also make it more expensive to do autopay which is annoying. 3. The owners are cold and rude. 4. Safety - one girl got hurt and her coach didn't seem phased or that he cared she got hurt. Also, the straw that broke the camels back was that my daughter was "jokingly" pushed off the beam by her teacher. My daughter after class said her leg was hurting. It wasn't injured, but it did hurt for a bit for her. No coach should "jokingly" push someone off the beam. Overall, my daughter really liked her coaches and they seem really nice, but this was an immature move done by a young coach.
