Everybody Was...

Nine tail fox had been on my list to visit for some time. So glad I finally made it! The pictures online don't even do it justice. Such a beautiful restaurant! I didn't realize they had a happy hour, as so many times atlas restaurants will only have one temporarily. There never seemed to have any issues with seating. The drinks were good! I had some prosecco and then saw the purple pineapple drink and was intrigued. The bartender said it tastes slightly like a pina colada and I was sold. I ordered the chili wonton, crab Rangoon, and vegetable fried rice. EVERYTHING was good! I will definitely be back

Came back to Nine Tailed Fox and the experience was much better all around than last time. They sat us right away, the sweet and sour chicken had plenty of sauce and the duck was very good. 4-4.5 stars this time !

I saw this new Chinese restaurant opened up in village crossing and finally paid a visit I will start with pros : food is amazing. And ambience is great. Cons: service was the worse i have experienced in years. No one ever asked us for any drinks or food order. I flagged bartenders couple times. Everyone was super nice but useless. To say the least. Food was 11/10. Hot and four soup. Delicious. Wedge salad good. Cucumber salad delicious. Shrimp fried rice not a big portion. Very fresh and tasty and well seasoned. Shrimp Eggrolls yummy Will return but will be aware of terrible service I hope it gets better.

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday with 3:45pm reservations. When we arrived, we were greeted and seated immediately. The main dining area was dimly lit and the entire restaurant had nice ambiance. Several tables were occupied but the rested not busy. Our waitress arrived shortly after we were seated, provided some recommendations, and informed us that the food would arrive as it was ready (I.e., everything might not arrive at the same time). We started with the Way of the Dragon (cocktail) and Hot and Sour soup. Both were good. Lucky for us, all of our food arrived at the same time (and quickly). We had black pepper beef (a house special), which tasted great; vegetable fried rice; and stir fried garlic pea sprouts. We were not sure what to expect with the pea sprouts but when they arrived they looked like spinach and they tasted amazing!! The bathrooms are individual. They were clean and had the same dim lighting that were in the dining areas. I was nosy so I went upstairs to see the large bar area. Lots of natural lighting and you can see the rooftop dining spaces (which were currently closed because it's winter). I will definitely return to try other dishes here.

I had a great time on a return visit. I really enjoyed the noodles and general tso chicken. I got the chicken from the grill menu, perfectly cooked but lacked flavor. It should definitely be paired with a different sauce if not given a distinct flavor profile of its own. The strawberry cloud dessert was light and yummy. Service was great and the restaurant was lively and bustling on a Saturday night but not overcrowded.

I came here for my son's 21st birthday. We decided to sit upstairs at the bar. The decor is beautiful. They also have an outdoor seating area as well. For our appetizer we tried the Hot & Sour Soup, Wings and the Chili Wontons. We tried a few really good cocktails as well. And they also have a non alcohol drink from Tost that was really refreshing. The food for happy hour is smaller portions, but that's all you need. And the main menu is ala carte. Our bartenders were super cool and helped us navigate the menu and have great suggestions. This restaurant is definitely on my list of places to try again.

Nine tailed fox was so cute! Really liked their decor. Went for the happy hour and you must sit upstairs at the bar to order food from the happy hour menu which are smaller plates. Everything tasted good but would pass on the chow mein noodles next time as it was lacking flavor

Pretty good food but Barbie doll portions. I guess ATLAS sought out to give a boujier pan Asian vibe which is cool if it works for you and you're wanting ambiance just don't come hungry. We ordered a crazy amount of food - whole duck, multiple crab Rangoons, multiple rice dishes, etc. All delicious but sheesh the portions!

Dine here with 7 of my gfs for galentine . It was the perfect place for a group gathering and dinner . We order the whole menu basically. And 2 items we missed were on the house by nine tailed fox !!!!! Food is 8/10 , cocktails 10/10 , ambience 10/10 . Service 8/10 . This was a Saturday night 9 pm reservation and it was packed. I love the bar area If you arrive early or want to go upstairs after dinning . Perfect night.

My friend and I have been wanting to try this place and so we finally made it down for a girl's night. First of all, the ambiance is stunning! It felt like a very grand space with cozy vibes thanks to the dim lighting. Together, we shared the crab rangoons, general Tao's chicken and Mongolia beef with fried rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and super flavorful. We want to go back to try some of the other foods because there were so many options that sounded good! Our waiter was also great and made us feel very welcome and excited about the foods we decided to order. Can't wait to go back!

We arrived about 20 minutes early and were asked to wait until our exact reservation time to allow the server time to "catch up" on tables. From the entryway it did not appear that anyone was in the restaurant. However, after we strolled the holiday bazaar outside and returned at our exact reservation time when we turned the corner there was a lovely dining room filled with guests. The menu offers traditional and fusion Chinese cuisine. I had the chicken and shrimp shumai and half duck. My mom enjoyed the vegetable fried rice and Chilean sea bass and for dessert the strawberry cloud. We also tried cocktails that were enjoyable. Our waiter was friendly and the overall experience was lovely. I would love to see the upstairs bar on my next visit.

Nine Tailed Fox hit the spot! My bestie & I dined here on a Tuesday, and were seated quickly with no reservations. There's a bunch of parking out front. The appetizers were incredible. We are still raving about the crab rangoons & lamb potstickers. You could actually taste the crab meat and the potstickers were well seasoned. The entress are definitely shareable. I recommend the black pepper beef & fried rice. The rice was fluffy & the beef was tender. Our waitress went missing a few times, which resulted in us being in the restaurant longer than usual. However, the ambiance & decor was dated night approved. I would return to Nine Tailed Fox!

Give me PF Chang but make it vibey. We really enjoyed our first experience at Nine Tailed Fox. I didn't have high expectations - how fancy can you get with general tsos and crab wontons - but they proved me wrong. This place feels intimate, and the food is delicious. Dim lighting so bring your glasses. We enjoyed crab rangoons, wings, general tsos (the chicken melts in your mouth), seafood fried rice and Mongolian beef that was tender and served with a delightful fruit addition (I wish the serving was larger). We'll be back.

Overall, the food is delicious and the ingredients are high quality. I tried the Chicken & Broccoli and Cumin Chicken Skewers. The brown sauce that normally comes with the chicken and broccoli was different in a very good way. It wasn't greasy or full of msg and tasted cleaner. I ordered through UberEats. The food was well packaged and arrived hot. I highly recommend Peter Chang if you're in the mood for takeout.

The order was correct, included the necessary cutlery and napkins, was neatly packed, and correct. The food was hot, and the containers used were high quality. More importantly... The Food Was GOOD! Here's what we had: Crystal Shrimp Dumplings - very good Shiitake Mushroom with Bok Choy - very good Pan Seared Chive Shrimp Dumpling - delicious, I thought it needed a sauce and used some Dumpling Sauce that I had around... I thought it was a nice addition Sweet Spicy Sesame Chicken - good, but not what I had in my mind when ordering sesame chicken... it was a bit smoky or something like that... very good, but be aware that you aren't getting your corner Chinese restaurant's sesame chicken Golden Floss Limoncello Shrimp - Absolutely delicious, will order this every time no matter what Stir Fried Prawn Broccoli - very good, saucy, good balance of broccoli to prawn Tofu Egg Drop Soup - delicious and the tofu makes it slightly more filling All in all, a delicious meal, and we will certainly return for future meals. We want to try the Peking Duck, but will probably eat in for that one.

Blue Island (Aug 31, 2023, Thursday, ~ 2p.m.)…read more Blue Island is located in the Lexington Market in the heart of Baltimore City. I first went to the Lexington Market pretty early mid-morning on Aug. 30, 2023 before I headed to the B&O Railroad Museum (A MUST-SEE when visiting Baltimore.) and was expecting a food market selling fresh produce, unprocessed foods, confectionaries, flowers etc. I was totally wrong. It is instead a two-story structure carrying many different types of cuisine. Blue Island is located on the second floor. After climbing stairs of many steps right in the middle of the structure, Blue Island is located on the left side towards the back end of the second floor. There are a few tables and chairs set up so you can "dine-in". I was way too early, and the store was not open yet. I decided to come back the next day to try out the food due to my tight schedule that day. If you do some research, some of the other sites claim Blue Island offers Malaysian cuisine. Being born in Singapore, a very close neighboring country of Malaysia, I can tell you that it is most definitely NOT Malaysian cuisine. Their food, however, may have some Malaysian spices incorporated into it, and I taste that in the "spicy" dishes (Not spicy enough for my taste though. Way too Americanized.). The high quality ingredients are also part of the Malaysian heritage. What impressed me most was the pretty large sized shrimp that was part of the ingredients in the fried rice and fried noodles. In my many decades living in this country, I've eaten a lot of what I call "fake" Chinese/Asian cuisine, and I have never encountered shrimp of that size with any of those rice/noodle dishes. What stood out even more was that shrimp was FRESH - a double bonus. As in many places, you can order the combos, but there is a catch. My past experiences with these places is that when you order a 2-item combo, that means either a base rice and/or noodle PLUS 2 entrees. At Blue.Island, the rice or noodle IS COUNTED as one item (No half and half either.) in the Combo. I ended up ordering a 3-item combo with fried rice and two of their spicier entrees. The food was very delicious, and a definite cut above the rest. I also had time, while in line to order the food, to have a quick chat with one of the servers. I discovered that the owner and some of the servers were originally from Hong Kong. The two I spoke with also spoke Cantonese, and I was provided with a little discount off the total price, which was totally unexpected and appreciated. If you decide to eat at this place, please be prepared for a constant line of people doing the same. I was there for about 90 minutes to rest my tired feet after long hours of sight-seeing, and the line never ceased throughout that time. Do yourself a favor and patronize this place. I don't think you will regret that decision. Ah, those large tasty shrimp! For the taste, quality, and value. I rate this place a full 5 stars. Happy Eating !!!!
