They were so nice, worked hard and took care of all of my items, And took the little extra time to make sure everything was secure in their truck. Speaking of their truck - I've never seen a cleaner moving truck and when we were all done after I paid they took the time to organize, fold the moving blankets and remove the tape used on them - it was so organized! He then claimed the damage could not have been caused by tape because they "don't use tape," which is completely untrue. The evidence is obvious: they did use tape, and when it was removed, it peeled the paint off my furniture and left sticky residue all over the metal parts of my bed and my modern furniture. I hired this company based on their positive reviews, but it turned out to be one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Poor handling of furniture and even worse customer service.

Due to closing issues, I had to push my move date Back 2 days. He said he'd be able to do it in the afternoon and that he would be there between 2:00 and 3:00pm depending on how the job before mine went. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, and they didn't get to me until 6:00pm. They wanted to push it to the next day but I insisted we had to do it that day because literally all of our stuff was packed and ready to go. I ordered one truck and two movers for our two bedroom, one bath duplex. My fiance and I did a lot of moving before they even arrived, essentially just leaving the furniture for them and some boxes. Their attitude seemed Brusque but it was probably because they were just tired from however many moves they had that day. They wrapped most of my furniture carefully with blankets, but I must say I was not pleased with the way that they moved my grandfather clock. The second mover, Alex, said "well this is fragile" when looking at my clock. I was like yes that's why I hired Movers. They didn't even know you had to take the pendulum out of the clock when moving it. They refused to take my very small TV off of the wall, and told me they would have to charge extra for that which I have never heard before. That was frustrating. They made a dent in my baseboard and scratched a lot of paint in my newly painted residence, and then gave me attitude when I asked when they were going to fix it. He then begrudgingly said that he would send somebody over Saturday to fix it. That guy was nice and did an okay job. They worked very hard but I think it would have gone faster with three movers. It would have been nice to have a discount since they were over 3 hours late also. I'm not sure if I would use them again, but I'm glad that we are finally in our new place with the damage fixed (aside from the clock).

And was very patient with me and all my changes!!! Out of all the movers I called for quotes, he was the only one that followed up with me. I will definitely call him for my next move! Then comes time for the movers to load us up from Margate, FL to NC. They were beyond professional, sweet, careful, and so kind to us. Asked questions along the way. Moved our personal belongings with such care. These two young men pictured with my mom were simply amazing!!!! Now for the unload in NC. The driver kept in touch with us from the time he loaded the truck up until delivery day.... keeping us updated on time line. We had two stops, and he handled everything perfectly. Even told my mom, relax I will put the bed together! We had a storage unit and I was afraid everything wouldn't fit, well he told me not to worry he's got it. And he did! Even told me where certain things were in storage unit for me to find. I cannot say enough great things about Nationwide Van Lines. Everyone involved with our move went above and beyond.
