LOVE IKEA, such a great place. Popped in to specifically get new kitchen towels, 4 for $5.99 and…read morethey finally got a new pattern in stock. I use the frequently and they are very sustainable, reusable and hold up great. I just washed them and the black/white ones were the only ones to shrink up a bit. Otherwise, all look great. Service was pretty basic as it was only during check out when having them oversee the purchase.

Let me just say, I have not been to IKEA in 15-20 years...love the store but we were living out of state for at least 10 years. When we walked in I was immediately mesmerized by all the displays. These displays were well designed with the color scheme deftly coordinated. IKEA has everything...I mean everything! We were not in the store very long, however, we went through a number of departments (fake flowers and plants, real plants, linen, towels, kitchen wear, storage boxes, etc.) You get the picture. My friend was looking for a desk mat and kitchen towels, which she found. She was also looking for bath towels, which she did not find. I was just along for the ride. However, those kitchen towels were such a good deal, I bought some also. The prices at IKEA are extremely good. A new area for me was the self-serve area. This area was definitely not there the last time I shopped at IKEA. It looks like a huge warehouse with lots of items. Quite honestly, it was a little overwhelming. We both opted for self-checkout, which went exceedingly fast. Quick visit...good shopping trip!

My first visit to this store was with my sister-in-law and husband's Aunt from the New England area. We came in to have a look around and see what the shop was about. Upon entrance we weren't greeted and she seemed not interested in helping us out. Instead the owner was more interested in taking pictures for her social media. This past weekend I had my mother and sisters in town and wanted to show them around the cute shops here. My sister walked over to the Farm Cortale and wanted to check it out. I was hesitant since my first visit wasn't so great, but thought I'd give it the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, I was wrong the owner was still as rude if not worse this time around. Not once did she greet us or even ask if we needed assistance, no customer service. She followed my family around with her arms crossed staring at us disapprovingly. My husband sat his coffee cup down to look at a recipe book he was interested in. She then told him to remove his cup, to which he asked "what would you like me to do with it?". Then she said "oh great now you're taking a picture of a recipe really?". At this point I said "let's just leave" and felt very uncomfortable since she had asked my husband "are you with them?" She made me and my family feel judged and unwelcome racially. I also felt as though she disapproved that I had a baby with me in her shop. I will not be visiting this establishment again or recommending it. I will be sure to let everyone I know about the owners behavior. After this encounter I went to the shops next this place and had a way better experience shopping with the very nice store owners from Mercer St. Art & Boutique, Panache, Vintage Soul, Revel Wilde and Juniper Tree Market.
