Had Kendrick for our tour last night and he was amazing! Genuinely a very kind human, took great care of the group. He is extremely passionate and you can tell how much he loves his job! Gave a wonderful tour and knew the history of Denver extremely well. He also stayed with us for almost an hour and a half longer than the tour was supposed to go. Our group was rather chatty and people wandered off, making it difficult to fit in the full tour in that given amount of time. Most people would have just stopped the tour at the time it was supposed to end but he continued to guide us around. If you do this tour make sure you request to have him!!! read more

So I've done a ghost tour before and I've done a beer tour, but this is the first time I've done them together. And of course what makes or breaks any tour is the guide. We got Kendrick and I have to say you can tell he loves what he does! I don't remember the tour guides from my previous tours but I won't forget Kendrick. He gave us a memorable experience! He was also so considerate...kept asking if he could help with my duffle bag, since I had come straight from the airport and had to carry my bag through the tour. At first I said I could do it but after the second bar I was glad he offered again :) I thought the 7:30 was a little early, but it ended up being perfect since we finished around 10:30ish and had time to explore the downtown area afterwards. I'm not from Colorado but here on vacation and decided to do something spooky. I'm so glad I chose Nightly Spirits. Our guide Cody was awesome. He was informative, funny and had a laid back vibe. The tour was fantastic, and I learned some interesting facts about Denver's history. The ghost stories were great, too. The drinks along the way were great, too. We had a wonderful time last night on our Nightly Spirits tour with Alyce. We've lived in Denver for 10 years now, but learned so much that we didn't know before -- like how Denver has a complete underground tunnel system that was used during prohibition. All the entrances are boarded up now, but it's still cool to see where they once stood (I saw some confusion in other reviews that you'd get to walk into the tunnels - you don't...wanted to clarify). Our group was a bit rowdy at times, but Alyce did a great job of reigning everyone in and keeping the crowd together. She's a great storyteller too! Very engaging. Just did a tour with Drew on Friday night, and it was a blast! He kept everyone very engaged, and made the entire experience a blast. My friends and I were looking for something to do that was not the usual Friday night activity, and this exceeded all of our expectations. My brother booked this tour for my bachelor party and it was PERFECT. If you love history, beverages, ghost stories, or any combination thereof, this tour is for you. Denver has some interesting (and scary) stories behind it. The locations we visited on the tour are all very unique, and our tour guide - Kisa - was animated and fun. He, however, was great, entertaining, patient, and extremely knowledgeable of the BOO-zey history of LoDo. It was a pretty fun tour and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and charismatic. The only complaint I would have is that you really had to rush to get a drink before meeting back up with the group, and it didn't really go underground more than at the initial meeting place. We REALLY wanted this to be cool, but if I'm honest, it was a bummer. Based on the positive reviews, maybe we had too high of hopes? We all love spooky ghosty stuff, so we came into it with the right mindset, but it wasn't spooky at all. The guide was nice, but the storytelling left a lot to be desired-- the way he told them was kind of all over the place, like we were always missing a punchline or point. On top of that, the group was way too big (20-30ppl) and pretty obnoxious. I felt bad for the guide a few times, as drunk dumb dumbs were talking over him or straight up ignoring him. We REALLY wanted this to be cool, but it was kinda bunk :( read more

I'm not quite sure where all of the 5 star ratings are coming from. I guess if you're drunk enough, anything is fun. Our guide Kendrick was awesome and I give his personality 5 stars, but this was seriously boring. The only underground tunnel you get to see is a hollowed out tunnel about 3 feet deep filled with old restaurant table legs. There are no drink specials at any of the bars and they don't even seem to want you there. It's mainly walking bar to bar, standing around getting a history lesson and wishing you were drunk enough to have fun. read more

My girlfriends and I went on this tour thinking it would be super fun. The only good thing about this tour is I went to bars I never been to. Our tour guide was nice but nothing is spooky about this tour. In the description it says you go underground and in tunnels. We went under one bar and walked around to different bars threw the regular streets. No tunnels and no other basements. And honestly the stories where not even scary! Save your money and do something else. read more

This was purchased as a gift for me. I was really disappointed. I have been on ghost tours in the past and this was nothing like it. In all honesty, this should be sold as a bar hop/crawl tour with history storytelling. We were not alone in this feeling, a few of the people that we actual talked to that night felt the same thing and were disappointed. The tour guide, Megan, was very friendly, but seemed overwhelmed with some members of the group straying. The reason that people did their own thing was that there was no actual structure/timeline/plan that works which left a lot of just sitting around. The bars were loud inside and could not hear much of what was being said. The story telling should all take place outside the bars so everyone can hear. As I mentioned , this really had nothing to do with ghosts , and that is ok..Just do not sell it as a ghost tour. read more
