I had not been to this location in awhile but thankfully was in the area. Excited to see the seasonal offerings, I was also glad to see Tyler! He is always so pleasant and accommodating! While visiting my sister and BIL they took me to Night Swim for breakfast. I'm not huge on quiche, but I wanted something heartier than a pastry for breakfast, so I decided to order the seasonal quiche. It blew me away! The flavors were feta and broccoli. It was incredibly light and fluff as well. I feel like I'm going to be thinking about this quiche for WEEKS. They are also dog friendly which goes so far with me as someone who insists on bringing my senior dog everywhere with me (that will allow of course). They had cookies for her! This score might seem low to some, as Night Swim Coffee is a very popular local coffee shop with multiple locations throughout the city. I agree that their coffee is very good, but this particular location I'm not in love with. It serves its purpose in that it is a convenient quick stop for bankers working Uptown and is located in the new Legacy Union that hosts workers from the ACC to Bank of America. But to me it feels too sterile. There is nothing in the way of decor, it's too bright, it doesn't seem like a place I'd want to spend any time at, just a place to grab a coffee and go. Again, if this is what you are looking for, then it works. I myself have stopped in when I have a brief window to grab a coffee before a meeting. But for me, when I look for a coffee shop, I like a place I can stop in and relax. A place that feels warm and cozy. I loved the banana nut zucchini initially but I haven't been here in a few months and they now have pumpkin bread which is really good as well. Best mocha in Charlotte! I come to town every few years from Berkeley, CA and always stop here, even though it's the opposite direction from my office. The house made chocolate sauce is perfect! Just sweet enough, just rich enough. The beans are smooth and silky. Not too much acid and not bitter. I ask for extra hot and it's always just right. Perfect location for a quick coffee or espresso as soon as you come off the escalator. I ordered a shot of espresso which was 3.00 but it was so smooth and creamy and strong. It was just the pick me up that I needed after a long train ride in on a rainy day. The 2 guys in there were friendly and fast. While I waited on my espresso another customer came in and ordered a black coffee and received the same friendly warm service. However she asked about pastries or something to eat and one of the guys said they were still waiting on permits to clear before they could serve simple pastries. read more

The matcha and froth was perfect, though! The peppermint tea was also amazing, and the "for here" serving ware/presentation was very pleasing and instagrammable!! Lastly, I got a plain bagel and cream cheese and it was INCREDIBLE. The cream cheese serving was very adequate, and the bagel was really unique and tasty! For the two star reviewers that aren't subjective, I recommend you give this location another try! The service, like their other locations, is friendly and thorough. I greatly appreciate a coffee shop that can speak to the origin, roasting process, supply, and the complexity of their beans. Not to mention their food is locally sourced and immense thought is put into their recipe designs. Night Swim takes their craft seriously and I'll continue to favorite this business until another supersedes their service delivery (if that's possible). For reviews putting their atmosphere into question, do note that this shop is in an office building. Wow! I have never experienced something like this but here we go! I tried out this place and really liked their matcha latte but i cant often go there since its too far. My husband was excited to surprise me with my fav drink & asked for no ice since he will need to drive 30 min and the ice will melt and make the taste all yukky. So he goes in and asks for the drink with no ice & 6.50 later he is handed a half full cup & when he questions it he is told that this is the amount without the ice and that ice fills 4oz of the drink!!! After discovering my all time fav CLT coffee spot, Rush Coffee, didn't survive the pandemic, I needed to locate a replacement go-to so gave Night Swim a try I'd been to Not Just Coffee the day before & found they used Night Swim beans so thought it best to come to the source.....plus this was a bit closer to the office than NJC Latte w/ an extra shot. 12 oz with creamy steamed milk and the shots were bold & smooth. I tried the masala chai and it is nicely balanced between sweet and spice. I came in the morning so the place was empty. It's located on the second floor of the bank of america tower. I do wish they had more seasonal drinks though. The seating is more aesthetic than comfortable with the couches being quite low and the chairs hard, which may make it hard to sit and work for a longer period. Parking is at Legacy parking deck and is not validated. not a huge fan of the space. their other locations is more accessible. read more

The interior of this establishment distills the glossy millennial aesthetic into something fresh and sophisticated. I feel like I'm in the Calatrava art museum in Milwaukee. Americano is an 8oz only, and almost everything else is only 12oz, yet everything is a venti-sized Starbucks price point. Inside of the Bank of America building by the Stonewall light rail stop, is the most aesthetically pleasing coffee shop in all of Uptown. I got the iced coffee with a splash of almond milk and it was incredibly smooth. I enjoyed their glassware option when you plan to stay inside. The music taste was so soothing and such happy vibes.
