Egg rolls
Rachel M.

Came on a Saturday night and had a 45 minute wait, the restaurant does good with texting you when your spot is free tho. Good food, good atmosphere. The egg rolls and noodles were much spicier and had a lot of shitake than expected. The chicken wings were cooked well, the sauce was a bit overwhelming for my palette but overall enjoyable. The short rib noodles were fire, my partner really enjoyed his curry too. I would come back for sure.

Trendy place with delicious Thai Food, the lighting and loud music does reminded us of the popular street night market in Asia. We took the server recommendation- hot soup, party wings, crispy rice salad, fried pork belly and both type of rice. ( it was very dark for us to read the menu anyway~~) All food were Delicious and flavorful, not too spicy or overpowering. The fried pork belly was a bit dry but still a new entree for us to try. The rice crispy salad was really refreshing and love the rice crackers. Between the coconut rice vs jasmine rice, I preferred the coconut rice for its sweet desert type of tasting.

Warm, welcoming and friendly service from the owners and staff. The space a bit crowded but festive and cozy. Food is tasty and much better than the other Valley Thai place that's over hyped.

The Panang curry is the reason I come back. It's rich without being heavy, nicely spiced, and balanced not too spicy. This place stays busy, but the food comes out quickly and consistently. Loud room, casual energy, solid service. I'd also give the pad see ew a try, definitely another one of my favorites.

Such a fun restaurant and delicious food! Some of my fav pad Thai ever. The wine is also delish!! Great for date night or a bigger group to share more dishes!

Decided to stop by Sahm as I needed to visit another place nearby and needed to eat dinner. Found this place via yelp and decided to give it a shot. Although the place was packed, was able to get a spot. The place is very lively and everyone is talking amongst themselves and it just feels like you're eating at bar in a way. Music is loud tho so talking with other people is gonna be difficult. I felt like I was screaming at the server when I was giving my order. Recommended items: wings: 8.2/10 - fresh and spicy and cooked to perfection. Sauce balance was really nice nham khao: 8.4/10 - was the price to see this on the menu as I don't really see this on a lot of menus in LA. Maybe I'm blind. Their version of this dish was very delicious and even though I ordered it mild spice I was dying. Their spice is no joke. Parking is a pain, street parking only.

Chicken Crunchwrap

Enjoyed the food, loved all the color in the decor, server was kind and gave us good info. Wings were my favorite part. Really flavorful with a nice crisp. Panang curry was yummy, especially with the roti and rice. Enjoyed the Crunchwrap too, but maybe my least fave of the three. The server warned us some of the items with one chilli pepper had a stronger kick than you might expect. That felt true for the Crunchwrap and the curry, but we have a low spice tolerance. I didn't get our server's name but she was really great. Gave us good context, made recommendations, and was the right level of attentive. My only real gripe was the noise level. Could barely hear my partner once the place filled up. I could imagine that feeling fine with more alcohol in me or if I was in a big group. But I wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for a quiet meal.

Short Rib Pad See Ew, Gai Tod Naeng Noi, and Grapow Crunchwrap Supreme

My boyfriend and I came here spontaneously and had no trouble getting a table. They asked if we had a reservation when we arrived, we didn't but we were seated immediately. Good to know they take reservations though! It's very comfortable inside, and all the servers were kind and intentional. We ended up interacting with almost all of them. We got the gai tod naeng noi which was soo good. Crispy, juicy chicken. The short rib pad see ew had so much flavor, definitely recommend. The last thing we split was the grapow crunchwrap supreme. We were so intrigued and I'm really glad we went for it! It had so much flavor and the spice level was perfect. Overall a great experience. Excited to come back and try the wine next time. Oh, and the Thai tea was delicious of course!

Pork jowl, crispy rice, pastrami pad kee Mao

We didn't have high expectations coming to a Thai spot on the west side, but everything was pretty good! We ordered 3 dishes.. all were flavor bombs (if anything TOO salty/seasoned). We purposefully picked the more fusion dishes to just try something different: *Pork toro - my friend wanted to get this, she loves jowls. I was hesitant because my perception was that it's mega fatty (and it really is), but the way they grill it gives it more texture and crisp on the outside and doesn't feel like pure fat. Really well seasoned, but I couldn't eat more than a few pieces. Imagine the fat portion of bacon crisped up, if you haven't had jowls before. *Crispy rice - my fav! We were kind of hoping for more greens, since it was called a salad lol. Love the crunch, herbs, sour-savory combo, etc! *Pastrami pad kee mao - usually my fav Thai dish unadulterated, and I prefer the original version more than this one They were all humongous portions, esp the last two dishes. The 2 of us had a lot left over. Our waitress changed mid ordering and the second one was super sweet. Which tbh was kinda surprising given how all the bad reviews ding the service!

Picked up some to go food here on a late night after 9 PM and surprised to see how packed it was inside. The host was so sweet, she had curly hair like me and took our order and made recommendations. I tried the curry and the mango, sticky rice, and my friend had the eggplant dish. Sorry, I can't remember the names, but they were both so delicious. The curry, they didn't really give you an option on the spice like many other Thai restaurants, I would say it was a little spicy, but nothing crazy. The garlic naan they paired with it was delicious, a special thin type of naan that I'm not used to, maybe fried? So good Sadly, I didn't have enough room for the mango sticky rice so I didn't get to eat it until the next day. Everyone knows the sticky rice is only good on day one. But the mango was still amazing. Absolutely would come back here, I would try to eat in the restaurant next time

18 bucks for this little plate.

Myself and 2 buddies tried to eat dinner here before my work shift at 7pm. Everything went well, until it didn't. After we ordered, only our appetizer and our drinks made it to the table before being informed that the kitchen was under inspection so no orders were being filled until further notice. Well atleast 30-40 minutes went by and having not even started our dinners yet we decided to close the bill and leave for another local joint. I'm not blaming them for inspectors popping in and holding things up, but I would expect atleast some kind of compensation for the wait and inconvenience, to no avail. Our server wasn't the best, somewhat flippant and I witnessed him being rude to this poor lady (and her young son) at the next table who was just trying to inquire about said wait times. As for the food we DID get, the bill was almost 24 bucks for 4 little wontons, some cucumber slices and a SMALL thai tea. Now the wontons were very good, but the value wasn't there for 18 bucks. Just glad we were able to get a table at another spot a few blocks away, with much better customer service and value for money spent!

Never really had Thai fusion food before so decided to check this place out! This place was so so crowded so we had high hopes that the foods were going to be good. Downside, because it was so crowded, the restaurant was very loud. It was hard to hold a conversation. We ordered their shrimp salad, pastrami noodles, the fried fish, sautéed green beans and orange chicken. Let me tell you.. all the foods were very very salty. Not too sure if they wanted to pack flavors onto their foods but it was way way too much. Had to drink a lot of water afterwards

Five Spice Pork Belly
Laura E.

We ordered the five spice pork belly, the panang curry, pad see ew, and the green beans. The pork belly was good but the sauce didn't go very well. I also did not expect the pork belly to be so fried. The panang curry was absolutely delicious but was quite spicy, even though it didn't have a pepper on the menu. This restaurant is not for the faint of heart!! The pad see ew was very good as were the green beans, but they weren't anything to write home about. They also only have natural wine which is fun to try. The decor is very unique so it's a fun environment. Service was good and our waiter was knowledgeable about the food and wine. I will be back!

They don't take reservations, so be prepared to wait. There's a few bars nearby if you're waiting. Once you're able to sit down, you'll find a cute wine bar with amazing food that doesn't disappoint. Don't skip the fries. They're some of the best things I've eaten. I dream about those fries. The Peruvian scallops are dreamy. Very light, very refreshing. The same can be said about the cucumber salad. The standout of the evening was by far the burger. I've been to Dudley Market a handful of times, and I'd yet to try it. I'm so glad that I did. It was probably one of the best burgers I've ever had before. I highly recommend ordering this. Overall, Dudley Market is a fantastic restaurant in Venice Beach and I hope it stays our neighborhood spot for a long time.

We waited about an hour. The food was delicious though. Almost every item we got was a hit, but the sweet potato dish was a hit and the burger was as advertised. Would recommend going again but maybe not with the wait. The restaurant is tucked away from the boardwalk but it's pretty lively inside and maybe during the warmer months they spill out into the street.

When we were sat, we were sat right by the bathroom door, and the man who I'm assuming was the manager told us we could move tables when a different party left. We got started with a bottle of wine, then had to move all of our things a few minutes later to a table that was so so so close to other tables that I struggled to get out when we left. Truly every single dish we had was delicious, I think the gorgonzola pasta was a standout! The service was okay on the whole, towards the end of our meal a sweet lady started helping us out, and she was fantastic. Whilst we were dining, the entire back area of the restaurant was filled with a large group that was quite rowdy, and it did detract from the intimate, Italian restaurant vibe we were looking for. The desserts were also yummy and the manager brought over some limoncello for our troubles, however with so many amazing Italian options in LA, I don't know if we'd return. Parking was easy-ish for Venice standards, we parked in a $5 lot about a block away on the beach.

We sat outside on the patio, which is lovely. Fair warning: it IS outdoors. As in, nature-outdoors. A cricket made a cameo on the wall behind us. Totally fine, just good to know! The vibe is lively and buzzy, which is great, though a little noisy for a group of ten that actually wanted to catch up with each other. Service was so-so. Our server checked in occasionally, but when we actually wanted to order another round of drinks, he was nowhere to be found and had to do some significant amount of watching to find him and get his attention. One thing that worked really well: he took orders by seat, which made checkout shockingly painless. Scan the QR code at the table, select your seat, and all your items are right there. Splitting ten ways was easy. Note: if you're paying via Inkind, you can't split by seat but you can enter your specific amount. Food: * LeBowl: My order and I'm absolutely coming back for this. The menu leans toward simple, French-inspired dishes done right rather than anything overly complex. Everything feels fresh, well portioned, and thoughtfully prepared. It is the kind of place where you can order a few items to share and know they will all be solid. The drink selection is another strong point.
