I unfortunately did not have a great experience at Night and Day Dental, and their work cost me $1,200 to fix at another dentist after they dismissed my concerns. I went to this practice after a family member recommended it. The initial evaluation and cleaning were good. However, the fillings were not. I had four fillings performed -- two front and two back -- and each of them had issues. One of the fillings on my front right side popped off a few weeks later, and when she fixed it, a chunk came out later that day while flossing. She never checked the contacts before I left, which left me with a broken filling and a gap that constantly trapped food. One of the back left fillings wasn't sealed properly and started to really hurt. When she redid it, the filling on the next tooth broke off and left a ledge. I never had a problem with that tooth before, but it eventually started to smell terrible when I flossed, and the floss kept breaking on the ledge. The dentist who fixed it confirmed that bacteria had gotten into the broken filling, causing the odor. The other fillings also caused the floss to tear and made flossing really unpleasant. I went back multiple times trying to resolve this and even brought my own dental materials since nothing was working. They never used them because of protocol, which I understand. When I asked the other attending dentist for a second opinion, I was told verbally that this was the best they could do and that I should just live with it. This conversation was never documented in my patient notes, as I later confirmed with the office manager. I ended up going to another dentist who fixed everything, but it cost me $1,200 out of pocket. The dentist who corrected the work told me directly that the filling material used was very cheap, that the work was substandard, and that I was ultimately taken advantage of. When I contacted the practice to resolve this privately, I was told it was my choice to seek care elsewhere, and that was the end of it. I'm very disappointed with the quality of work at Night and Day Dental and the way my concerns were dismissed at every turn. I would not recommend them to anyone who wants to take care of their teeth. read more

Dr.Nasir doesn't deserve the title of doctor. never in my life have i felt bullied in an establishment by an elderly looking doc. i went for a cleaning. Had a few cavities got questioned for my daily diet??? got laughed at and judged. I sat silently while she kept going and going. do u not like ur job to be judging patients, ur job is to fill cavities right? it's almost like that's what u do for a living, stick to it and don't question it.... very snarky very unprofessional. The second and last time i will ever be stepping foot into that establishment. Don't even get me started on the wait time. there's no one in the office , why am i waiting 2+ hours. I am usually not the type to leave a review this distraught but wow. They really hire anyone. Just wow. read more

I was in a lot of pain from a broken tooth that ended up needing surgical extraction. They got me in right away! Dr Hernandez extracted my tooth and Dr Marder assisted with a blood draw for me. Both doctors are awesome. They were both so nice and personable. By the end, we were cracking jokes with each other. I live 40 minutes from there, but have already decided to go there for my routine exams because they were so great. I highly recommend them! read more

Ngoshali is the best dentist there , her sweet bedside matter and how she really takes the time to get to know her patients and makes you feel safe and comfortable and in amazing hands . She is great at her job and a better person . She is probably the reason why I come back , I've been canceled a couple of times because of insurance issues or doctors who don't take my insurance and she still did the procedure just without the aesthetic shots to make sure I would get my deep cleanings down . And was very gentle and I didn't feel a thing . She is very talented and takes her time and doesn't rush you out if there's an issue .. always going the extra mile and step to help her patient Ls . Love ya girl .. thank you for cleaning my teeth again today !! Five stars read more

Great dentist, terrible office staff. I like the dentist so much I'm still with them, and cursing every visit because the office staff are so terrible. I've been with them several years and have had them reschedule my appointments to a new time without consulting me--as in, they'd confirmed by text the original time, then later reminded me of a different time that was not when it was scheduled for but I was expected to show for. They cancel appointments without warning, too, but if the patient cancels too many times (even with advance notice) they're charged a fee. They've also gotten my appointment date wrong, put me in for the wrong kind of appointment, etc. If there's something the front office staff can possibly screw up, they'll do it. What's even more annoying is their telling me my appointment will cost X amount of dollars, I pay that in full at the time of my visit, then we get a few days later and here they are billing me for an additional $150-200 for the supposedly paid for visit. I understand there may be some adjustment to the bill but that's a hefty chunk of cash! This has happened several times, and feels like a gut punch. The first time I was able to negotiate a slightly lower amount and another time helped them see that they'd done the billing wrong, but it's really frustrating that they can't manage the insurance plans better. It feels like the staff haven't got a clue. And educating them on where they've gone wrong means loss of work time from my job while I do theirs. I'd hoped things would be better since I heard they had a new office manager, and I do see signs everywhere requiring big deposits to hold a crown appointment, etc, but so far no benefit to the patients. Please, someone lure my fav dentist away, okay? Then let me know where he goes cause I gotta get free of this place! read more

I was very afraid of going to the dentist before due to childhood trauma at my dentist office. Dr. Nasir is so gentle and kind. She takes her time to make sure that I am anxious or feeling pain. She is very conscientious about the type of work that she does, which I love about her. She fixed the gap in my front teeth which I had for 54 years, and made me feel like I have a pretty smile for the first time. She is an awesome dentist and a kind person. Love going to her and feel like she is taking good care of my teeth. read more

My regular dentist was out of town. Great experience. Friendly helpful staff. Great dentist and Hygenist. Very caring.

Waste of my time. I made the appointment and no one asked me anything about my personal life, turns out I am pregnant and they refused to do my cleaning without a doctors note. The only reason I chose to come here was because I've been here before so they wouldn't have to do X-rays. This is my second pregnancy and I had a cleaning done before with my first pregnancy. Just keep turning people away so your staff can sit around checking facebook. Great job. read more

Best dental office I have been to in NC since I moved here from NY 10 yrs ago. Very nice, clean, and welcoming.

Staff seems genuinely happy to help and they are so friendly. Everyone is professional but also down to Earth. The gentleman at the front desk has some of the best customer service. Lobby is very upscale and the entire place is very clean. Free coffee and water at the front is nice too. read more

My complaint is not with Dr. Hall, he does a fine job, and is nice. It's with the way the office handles patients. I had an hour and 45 minute appointment for a deep cleaning. About 45 minutes into the appointment, the tech said "let's take a break." When she came back 10 minutes later, she said her watch told her to go for a walk. Then, at the top of the hour (one hour into my appointment) she left me for 10 more minutes to get started on her 12:00 patient. Meanwhile, my novocaine is wearing off. When talking to the office manager the next day, she said "that's what we do, not like most dentist offices." I said, "to clarify, you INTENTIONALLY scheduled another appointment a little over halfway through mine, it wasn't unintentional." She said yes, and that maybe they should have scheduled the next one for 12:15. I pointed out that was STILL during my scheduled time, and she said yes it was. On a different occasion, I tried to get work done, but they somehow mixed up my wife's information and mine, and said that I had to pay for the work since I'd already used my insurance that year. They even mailed me a bill for my wife's work. We have the same insurance, but are not on the same policy. HIPPA (or whatever it is) would probably have a problem with them sending me someone else's medical information. I think we're finding a new dentist. I can see why they're ranked the 44th best dentist office in Cary. read more

Dental hygienist was super cool. They're pricey if you have real insurance. If you get their plan it seems to be a better deal for the initial visit with cleaning. Make sure you check your bill!!! They had a double charge on my bill and tried to explain it. It took me talking to 2 people to get them to realize it was a duplicate charge. read more

Everyone is always so nice and accommodating! I've been here a couple of times now and I've never left unhappy.

Well, where do I begin? First off, I had called for an appointment to get a second opinion on some dental work done so we could compare prices. Well, I got an appointment that same day. They even gave me the website to fill out my paperwork ahead of time, which I did and sent back to them. Well, the appointment was for my daughter and we got there in time. We were brought into the office. The hygienist came in, said hello and went to put a protective cloth around my daughter's neck. She then proceeded to give her sunglasses to take x rays. Then she starts asking if my daughter had any pain. I said, " Oh no. We came here to get a second opinion. Then the fun started. They said I had to call my first dentist and have them release the records to them. I did. They kept saying they didn't receive them. Then I had to sign a release for the first dentist. Again, Night and Day claimed they never got them. They had ME keep calling the first dentist because they hadn't received any paperwork or x rays! We were in the office for over 2 hours only for them to REDO the x rays and give us a totally different diagnosis and a worse price! I would NOT recommend this office to anyone! read more

Absolutely horrible. Arrived on time only to be told that someone called in sick and they could not clean my teeth. Instead they recommended I do half that day (xrays and exam) and come back at a later date for the cleaning. They claimed to have left me a voicemail that morning, however, it was not on my phone. Additionally, I received a text 2 hours before the appointment reminding me to show up on time (not alerting me of any changes to my original appointment). Needless to say, I declined their offer for the double appointments and will seek out dental service elsewhere. After reading the other Night & Day Dental reviews on Yelp from their Raleigh location, it seems as though I lucked out not allowing this group to touch my teeth. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! read more

Val (dentist hygienist) was awesome. Very professional, the quality of her work high+++. No pain, very comfortable. She deserves 5 stars!

I was visiting the area from Georgia and needed to be seen for a tooth ache. I called on Saturday morning and was given an appointment within the hour. I arrived to the office and it was beautiful and the staff was very welcoming. I was seen and had x-rays taken within 15 minutes. This dentist office is normally great however today the staff was terrible. Due to lack of communication i was left in a room waiting for treatment for almost 30mins, then was told they was supposed to schedule an appointment and that i wasn't getting seen today so the nurses and doctors wasn't communicating with one another. Then i was given medicine that i can't take while breastfeeding due to harm to my baby. I asked the nurse Jayla over and over can i take this while breastfeeding and was told yes. Then as i was checking out Jayla was upset towards me because she had to stay after her shift because someone else had to go get lunch..i know this because her and another lady was talking about it at the front desk as if i wasn't standing there waiting to check out. When i asked can i go she threw the appointment card down where i couldn't reach it instead of handing it to me closer. Out of all the employees miss Jayla was the most disrespectful one and should definitely have an evaluation. read more
