I went to this practice after a family member recommended it. The initial evaluation and cleaning were good. However, the fillings were not. I had four fillings performed -- two front and two back -- and each of them had issues. One of the fillings on my front right side popped off a few weeks later, and when she fixed it, a chunk came out later that day while flossing. She never checked the contacts before I left, which left me with a broken filling and a gap that constantly trapped food. One of the back left fillings wasn't sealed properly and started to really hurt. When she redid it, the filling on the next tooth broke off and left a ledge. I never had a problem with that tooth before, but it eventually started to smell terrible when I flossed, and the floss kept breaking on the ledge. The dentist who fixed it confirmed that bacteria had gotten into the broken filling, causing the odor. The other fillings also caused the floss to tear and made flossing really unpleasant. I went back multiple times trying to resolve this and even brought my own dental materials since nothing was working. They never used them because of protocol, which I understand. When I asked the other attending dentist for a second opinion, I was told verbally that this was the best they could do and that I should just live with it. This conversation was never documented in my patient notes, as I later confirmed with the office manager. I ended up going to another dentist who fixed everything, but it cost me $1,200 out of pocket. The dentist who corrected the work told me directly that the filling material used was very cheap, that the work was substandard, and that I was ultimately taken advantage of. When I contacted the practice to resolve this privately, I was told it was my choice to seek care elsewhere, and that was the end of it. I'm very disappointed with the quality of work at Night and Day Dental and the way my concerns were dismissed at every turn. I would not recommend them to anyone who wants to take care of their teeth.

Because she is a medical professional, I would expect her to be a professional; shame on her. I've been there before, and the practice itself was great; the staff was great, from the receptionist to the young lady who prepared me for the unprofessional Dentist. One bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch, but she needed to be reminded that she is a professional and what comes out of her mouth has an impact. I didn't have trust in her after that. Treat a patient like a person not a machine. I eventually had a numbing agent . Dr Smith is very clever and I believe he is good at what he does. He finally came along and gave me a perfunctory one liner that could infer I was responsible for this injury. He did what he had to do with the crown and stated he would come back when I had numerous xrays. Dr Smith never came back he must have got too busy.

So first visit Ashley was awesome with my periodontal cleaning ( I get those 4x per year) She was gentle, knowledgeable, kind, professional and efficient! I met my dentist, Matt and asked about a couple crowns. He assured he could do it and today he did, with the assistance of Mia! I believe it was the smoothest crown work I've ever had. I never even felt a needle go in for the numbing. I had a particularly difficult kind of old crown to take off but he was completely confident and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Ashley, Mia, and Matt were very attentive to my neck problems and made sure I was comfortable through both those procedures. The facility itself is just gorgeous. There is a grand of coffee in the lobby. Plus water. Lobby comfy, roomy, and well furnished. Receptionists, check out staff, everyone professional and kind. My pain did not go away at all after that filling, and they came up with a list of future procedures that they said I needed to get done. I decided I did not want to go back. I found a new dentist that is covered by my insurance. I went in today for my first appointment, and the dentist showed me a picture of a crack in the tooth that I had originally pointed out at Triangle Family Dentistry and didn't mention anything else I needed to get done. I really feel that TFD was trying to set me up for spending money on procedures that I didn't need, and didn't take care of the issue that I did have, that I pointed out to them.

However, after stepping inside and meeting their amazing staff my nervousness went down a lot. Tanya was my hygienist and she was very nice and explained every step along the way. She took her time and was thorough and it was just a great feeling overall. Dr. Lowery had the same vibe and took her time and explained everything. She was honest and open about my teeth and really made me feel good about my home care. Since it was my first appointment it ran a little long, so I had to schedule another appointment for a cleaning. But, I am so glad that I did as I will be able to come back and see their staff again.
