Nice, clean feel. Hygienist, assistants and Dr. Eissens all washed/sanitized their hands prior to putting on gloves. Very important to keep everything sanitary. No germ swapping for me, please! Welcoming: Extremely welcoming and comfortable. None of the "let me ask you a question and expect you to answer while your mouth is full of instruments." Last year it was my first visit at Eissens. I visited them after reading very good reviews. I got an appointment with Dr. Sireci. She said that I have 3 cavities and I need treatment. Because of good reviews I blindly trusted the Dentist, I didn't even looked at the images before getting treated and had treatment done the following week. Since then I have uneven bite and sensitivity issues. Chewing food has been difficult. When I asked for images of the tooth where the cavities were present and they just showed me only 2 of 3, of which only one image was clearly visible. They said that whoever took the images didn't do a good job and they don't have 1 tooth cavity image, the other one isn't clearly visible. For the same sensitivity and uneven bite issues last year I had one emergency appointment, again this year I had another emergency appointment and Dr. Sireci said there is nothing wrong, everything is absolutely fine. I didn't had any problems prior to the treatment at Eissens and none of my previous dentists told me that I have cavities. I should have gone for a second opinion. I even doubt that they were cavities or just stains. I remember I was told by my previous dentist that I have only stains. My bad luck that after moving to NC I chose Eissens. Damage is done, it can't be fixed. Suggestion, always get a second opinion. read more

I was a long time client of Eissens, actually supporting them since their grand opening until today that is. For years I have routinely refused X-rays as I don't want to subject myself to the radiation (personal preference) and there is nothing bothering me with my teeth. As a result, I simply go in every 6 months for my cleaning and leave. That all changed today. Dr Eissens refused to see me citing policy (which never existed previously and isn't in writing btw) and said she wouldn't treat me unless I succumb and allow them to X-ray my teeth. In other words, I was being coerced so they can bill my insurance company rather than actually caring for the patient and adhering to my wishes. I just want my teeth cleaned. It's truly a shame as we've been going there regularly for many, many years but will now be seeking out another dentist that respects patient choices rather than the insurance payout for procedures that are unwarranted, unnecessary and against my wishes as a patient. I would look elsewhere as patient rights no longer seem to matter at this location. read more

I love this dentistry. It is the only one I've returned to in my adult life. The staff make you feel very comfortable, and they are friendly and remember you. I especially appreciate Marianne. The environment is open, bright, and relaxing. You can see the outdoors from the large windows as you receive your service. The TVs above the exam chairs really help distract you and pass the time. Dr. E is very informative and answers all my curious questions. She makes me feel at ease, and she performs her work with great care and skill. I highly recommend Eissens to everyone. read more

Eissens Dentistry is an excellent dentist and our family highly recommends them. After recently moving to Raleigh from Apex, we needed a dentist who was closer. We have been so impressed with the care, service and professionalism of Dr. Eissens and her entire staff. My dad, who has dementia needed urgent care and ended up needing an extraction. I'm so grateful for their thoughtful care and handling of him. He felt so welcomed and comfortable that it helped him to handle it. The staff was discreet to help him, yet to have me take care of the paperwork and finance properly. This has not always been the case with doctors and medical centers in the Triangle, so I was pleasantly surprised. The dental work was excellent because he was given enough medication and he barely had any swelling. This was not the case with his previous dentist. Due to the outstanding work, I've decided to have my implant teeth done here after the oral surgeon completes his part. My decision is not only based on this info, but also because Eissens Dentistry is high tech and even has TVs on the ceiling. My implant work is being done on new 3 d technology and I wanted the most up-to-date dentist to handle it. I'm so happy we found them! I'm sorry that I didn't learn about them sooner because I would have traveled the distance to be treated here! Way to go Eissens Dentistry; you guys are awesome! Thank you, Yelp, for pointing me to Dr. Eissen's office. They are all amazing. This is the friendliest (in a sincere, caring way - nothing fake about folks here!) office of any sort...everyone goes out of their way to serve you and assure you're comfortable. Hira and Megan at the front desk are wonderful - both keep smiles on their faces, ask about your day, and are the perfect faces to greet patients. (Megan also went out of her way to help me with insurance coverage questions.) Teresa has been my dental hygienist and is the gentlest hygienist to ever touch my mouth! Dr. Eissen is also incredible, of course! The space makes visiting the dentist a pleasure - coffee and water, glasses to shade the bright lights in your eyes, and noise-cancelling headphones to watch the tv on the ceiling or listen to music. I wish I had experienced Eissens as a child; there are iPads on the wall and comfy kid beanbag chairs for children to relax and distract themselves. (From their FB photos, it seems Dr. Eissen's dog also visits from time to time - gotta love that!!) I'm so glad I found Eissens Dentistry! read more

I had always disliked going to the dentist until I found Eissens Dentistry! My husband saw Dr Eissens and referred me, knowing how much anxiety it gave me. He had a wonderful experience and knew I would feel comfortable as well. I have been twice now and had great staff taking care of me both times. I always feel at ease, and I know I am in good hands there. It is a very clean and welcoming environment. I never have to wait long even if I show up a little early for appointments. I'm in and out in a timely matter, which is helpful since I have a newborn and have to arrange childcare when I go. Won't be seeing any other dentist as long as I stay in this area! Finding a good dentist is like finding a good mechanic that you can trust! I'm glad I have that trust in Dr. Eissens. She noticed an old filling in one of my back molars that was showing some wear and tear, and she recommended replacing the old amalgam filling with new composite. Despite my reticence, I went ahead with the procedure. She and her assistant were very thorough and quick! I was in and out in less an hour! This was my first dentist appointment since moving to the area. My last cleaning was ~18 months and many cups of coffee ago. I arrived a few minutes prior to my 0800 appt and didn't have a chance to sit in the waiting room. The hygienist was very meticulous and personable, pleasantly removing over a year of coffee stains from my teeth. I am impressed by the thoroughness. Shortly after my teeth were clean, Dr. Eissens reviewed my x-rays and sent me on my way. Overall I was impressed by the new equipment (handheld x-ray that is more comfortable and fast), timeliness, thoroughness and pleasantness of the doctor and her team. read more

Definitely agree with the reviews here saying this place feels like a spa. This might sound odd, but even the bathroom sink makes you feel relaxed.. you'll have to come here to see what I'm talking about. Now, I am someone who hates going to the dentist. Always have and always will. It definitely helps walking into an office that has a relaxing ambiance like this one, but nothing relaxes the nerves more than an inviting and heart-warming staff. Marianne, Cristina, Courtney and Dr. Eissens are all so friendly and make me feel as comfortable as I ever will be at a dental office. I am always greeted by a very warm and friendly staff as soon as I enter the Dr. Eissens's office. My wait time is never more than a few minutes. Tiffany, my dental hygienist, is always friendly and professional. Her job performance is very thorough yet gentle as she works through the cleaning process. Dr. Eissens' office is an overall excellent dental experience, from reception to hygienist to the doctor herself. Hygienists are always extremely gentle and pleasant. Receptionists are extremely pleasant and helpful with insurance issues. Eissens took take of a couple of my cavities and did a fantastic job. I also like the flatscreen TVs with HGTV on the ceiling. I went Eissens Dentistry because its location is much closer than a dentist I had been going to. The office itself is really nice and modern. Everything is very orderly and professional, there are TV monitors mounted in the rooms and ceilings for you to help pass the time, and everyone was very courteous. They really make you feel welcomed and utilize all forms of communication (text, phone, email) to reach you if needed. Since it was my first visit, they did a complete set of xrays. A year since my last full set, Eissens found more than a handful of cavities that required fillings. A little shocked, I did request these xrays to be sent to my dentist friend for a second opinion. He's more conservative in terms of when he thinks a filling is absolutely needed and only told me I needed two, maybe three done. Ultimately, I decided to go to him to get my fillings done since once you get them, you have to deal with them failing and needing more work further down the road. Therefore I can't say how actual fillings stand with Eissens Dentistry but I am very happy it was very effortless to obtain my xray records, and receive an itemized treatment plan cost. Final note, I do recommend getting a second opinion when you can, as some dentists are more aggressive than others when it comes to treating cavities. I also recommend asking if the procedure for fillings involve using dental dams. I was informed that though it's more hassle during the procedure, it can help the filling last longer because it reduces contamination during the procedure. read more

Dr. ESSENS is great dentist who takes pride in her work. My family & I have been going to her every since she opened her doors. She makes sure things are done right and your satisfied as a customer which is extremely important. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming plus very helpful. The only reason I haven't given her 5 stars is due to the office being so far away from us since we've moved. (Which is not her fault :) ) I also love she offers late night hrs! You can tell she cares about her patients. read more

Not too impressed with this place. I got my crown done there, but it took me 5 trips to get it done right. First my temporary crown fell off when I was eating a soup within just 2 days! Went back and they fixed it with no problem. However a week later while waiting for my permanent crown to come in, my temporary crown fell off again. Very annoying and had to schedule another appointment. Finally my permanent crown arrived, went in to have it put in and it took like 3 hours. Again had it less than a month, and was assured it would never come off, but guess what it DiD! I was very frustrated. I had to schedule another appointment during a busy time at work to go back and of course they fixed it with no problems. I sure hope this was the last trip I had to make for this!!! I'm giving it a 3 star because the staff is friendly and welcoming. read more

I waited until after my fillings to write this review but I'm happy that after all that, I'm still able to give Eissens Dentistry a 5 star review. My first point of contact was with Marianne who was really helpful with getting my insurance and appointments worked out. My appointments were on time as scheduled which was much appreciated since I hate it when I end up waiting for extended periods of time. The facility was clean and well kept. I had a great experience with my dental cleaning - I had to get some fillings but there was absolutely no pressure to get any additional work done if I didn't want to and any recommendations that were given were backed up with photographic evidence to explain to the patient what was going on. Everything was also laid out nicely in terms of what it would cost so I appreciate the transparency. I've had multiple dental procedures in the past but I would say that Dr. Eissens wins for being gentle with the needle which is much appreciated :) Definitely would recommend based on my 3 visits here and am looking forward to coming back later this year for another cleaning! read more

This is a very convenient location for me as I work in the RTP. The staff at Eissens Dentistry are very nice. Marianne is the friendliest receptionist ever! She is also the one who does the billing. As mentioned in another review, coming in it feels a bit like entering a spa. The office and dental equipment seems very modern. There is very minimal pain involved, probably the least pain I have ever had for dental treatment. You can watch tv while you are down in the chair and they are working on your teeth. Simply the best. I found my new dentist. They aren't desperate and don't try too hard to sell the office to you. They don't rip you off either. It's in network with Cigna dental, and they billed me for prophylactic instead of periodontal maintenance. The entire office is gorgeous and has helpful staff who aren't rude! Love Dr. Eissens, Marianne and Courtney. They are such a fabulous team with excellent customer service and great communication amongst each other. I have been three times recently for some much needed and long put-off treatment. They were straightforward on how the treatment works, cost and easy with scheduling. Courtney and Dr. Eissens are a fluid team and fun to be around. I felt very comfortable in their care. Also, of course, they did a great job on my teeth! The office is beautiful and you are immediately greeted by the friendliest receptionist ever. I have never had to wait, but wouldn't mind because I love talking to Marianne.
