Not understanding the high reviews whatsoever. For our family it was all mediocre food and a high price. Service was friendly up front then slow when we needed help. Parking is in their own lot and spacious as well as clean. That was close to as good as it gets to this write up. The dining room was pretty empty at 1130 AM which is opening. Tables were clean as expected. A waitress did check in as we waited on another party to arrive. Restrooms are in the rear and were clean. However a funky odor. Menus were provided and orders taken. Drinks came out quickly. So a great start until our meals hit about 20 minutes later. My burger was over cooked and blah. My kids and wife also thought their sandwiches were just passable. There was also an error on one order and it was difficult to track our waitress down. We tried for possibly 10 minutes, no staff could be found. Our waitress did comp the meal. 2.5 rounding up for a clean dining room and great upfront service. I would never return or recommend. However it's always possible to experience a one off bad day. read more

Because of its great location to the airport hotels, I've actually been to this place twice this year. I had been to the location a couple of years ago when it was a different pub, too! I came it by myself and was able to sit at the bar and get great service. I love the local beer, I had the house IPA and the house Pale Ale, both were good. I had to order the poutine because they were out of the pickle fries. The poutine was good, but not great. After spending time in Montreal 2019, I try not to be a poutine snob. For my taste, this needed more cheese and less beef. Regardless, it was good. The World Series was happening, but not on any of the TVs. That's a little weird, right? Overall, the price was appropriate and the atmosphere is fine. Because I am at the local hotels a few times each fall, I feel pretty certain that I'll be back! read more

The beers were OK and the chicken wings were pretty tasty. I walked over here after a long day of work and I was staying in the hotel nearby. They were not very busy, but service was pretty slow. I do have to admit that everybody seem to be standing around, checking their phones and not wanting to pay much attention to the guests or much less socialize. Located in a brewery by a different name that had closed, we stopped in after the auto races in Clermont. We were staying at the hotel next door, so it was easy to walk over. The layout is basically unchanged, but the offered beers and menu were different. Everything was very good with one irritating exception. Let's go over the great stuff first. Beer selection was good and I was able to find something I liked. Normally, I would order more beer but my beer drinking fingers were busy editing photos I took at the race. Staff was very willing to help me find an outlet to plug in my computer to keep working. The charcuterie board was perfect as it allowed me to nibble as I worked. The qualities of the cheeses, meats, olives and pickled onion was great! There was so much that my friend shared it and there was enough to take back to the hotel after I finished editing my photos. Now for the bad news and it is very bad. Not only did I not like the music, I found it downright offensive. I am a senior citizen and admittedly am prejudiced against rap music. There is some I really like, but most of it is not very good. When in public with rap playing and I know I am in a younger crowd, I will tolerate it. This crap was offensive because of the vulgar language spewing forth. Almost every line contained the curse word for sex. This music was loud and gross. If I ever return, I will get my food to go back to the hotel. I will provide my own beer, thank you but will never again sit at one of their tables or the bar. read more

Food was fair. I ordered a club sandwich. I could have made a better one at home. Cheese looked to be a plastic wrapped Kraft single. My family's food wasn't special. Service was slow and inconsistent. I sat with an empty glass for about 30 minutes. When we asked the manager for refills, she gave us a snarky reply that made us feel like we were bothering her. My husband said that the beer was fair as well. Atmosphere was nothing exciting. There are much better breweries in the area. read more

Nigh Brewing is a great spot. It is related to Brew Link, but they have their own feel. They have a full bar, and the drinks they make are delicious. Their beers are on point too. We had a couple of their sour beers called Lime Light. It tasted like sweet tarts! The Greek Salad was huge and the dressing was amazing. I had the prime rib sandwich. It was good, but it was the only thing that kept the review from being 5 stars. The meat was a little dry, but the cheese, onions, and mushrooms were a nice addition. Location is key with this recently converted brew pub. Located right off I-70 at the Mooresville & Plainfield exit, this quality establishment is only 8 minutes or so to the Airport. So, why wait in the cell phone lot? I used to frequent the previous brew pub that was in the same location. I loved the food and the beer then, and now I know I like the beer. I haven't ate here yet, but I did see some tasty grub coming out of the kitchen. The inside has been updated with a more open bar and brightened up with fresh white wall tiles. I don't know many people flying these days, but next time I am on this side of town, I will be back! read more

Stopped in while we were near the area. The location was easy to get too and had plenty of parking. We were seated immediately in the bar section. We took a quick look at the beer menu and saw a couple that caught our eye. A little bummed they didn't offer beer flights, but the waitress hinted they were in the works. I ordered the Silken Sinister IPA and my fiancé ordered the Nigh-PA. My beer was incredible! I really enjoyed it. Then we spotted one of our favorite beers from northern Indiana on tap (Barehands THAI-PA) and had to switch. Spacious interior, friendly staff. We had never been but our friends randomly called last night and asked us to stop by. I had the Mediterranean sliders and onion chips. The sliders were very very good, the onion chips were perfect, they were not grease soaked like so many restaurants, just crispy and flavorful. My husband had the bison burger and waffle fries, he was happy as well. Our friends let us try their poutine appetizer... delicious. Our server/bartender was a girl named Peighton. If you live locally, regionally or outside of Indiana and you are visiting the area, you will find great food and drink as well as friendly hard working staff to serve you at Nigh Brewery in Plainfield! My wife and I visit often to watch a game and enjoy fresh, delicious "Pub Grub" with a focus on homemade Brews and fresh food dishes. The "Beer Braised Beef Chili" is a favorite of mine as well as the "Blackened Salmon Caesar Salad", but there are so many more favorites. Oh, and the Mac & Cheese Entree's are incredible. The kids meals are good portions and our children found them tasty. The Mac and cheese is very cheesy and the kids loved the bigger elbow noodle. What a great little place. Brett was the bartender and super helpful! They have quite a variety of beers, and we tried a number of them deciding what to order. Our favorites were Lime Light, a sour that would be amazing on a hot summer day, and Lucid, a nice citrusy IPA. I would also recommend Ivory, which really does taste like tootsie roll in a glass. They have lots of good looking items on the food menu too. We shared the poutine, which was really tasty. I would definitely recommend the beer and the food here. read more

The beers are excellent for any brew pub. Our favorite was the Bonnie (Scotch Ale). The whiskey list was unexpected with 21 bourbon/ whiskeys to choose from with Blanton's and Whistle Pig elevating the list. And you get a chance to try out a local whiskey, Hotel Tango. The menu hits all the major food groups including maybe the most important...Mac and Cheese. My wife and I have enjoyed the elevation of bar food with micro brew pubs but their Orange Chiffon takes you to the top floor. If you don't know what a chiffon is, get in here and find out. Had a seat at the bar here last night. Very nice, clean place. While not too busy, the bartenders were on top of things & provided speedy & friendly service. They have a beer that's similar to blue moon that was great & their rib eye steak sandwich was pretty good too! If you upgrade from frys to Cesar salad, be prepared. They give you a huge bowl that's enough to be a small meal on its own! I had a very cheap bill at the end of the night I was so shocked. Would love to go back if I lived around here. We went for trivia night and left completely disappointed. We stood at the front for several minutes until the waiter came and told us we could not be seated despite the fact there were several open tables. She was both unapologetic and didn't give a reason as to why we couldn't be seated. After half an hour she seated us at one of the tables that had been open the whole time. I believe she was keeping us from being seated because she felt some type of way ( ). The fried pickles stated like day week grease, so the horrible service wasn't even worth the food. Hate to see a local business in such poor shape. Honestly so embarrassed for the woman at the front desk who clearly had nothing going for her and couldn't even do her service job. I had a Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken tasted old. Husband even tried it and said the same thing without being prompted by me. When we brought it to the servers attention, she took it back to the kitchen and they said that they had had three additional complaints about the same thing. They took the chicken off of the menu for the night. The service is good and the atmosphere is energetic. Enjoyed the atmosphere, which is very energetic. Wow! Does it feel good to write another review after this horrible slow down. I had the opportunity to join a former coworker and her husband for a beer/lunch and we decided on the newly opened Nigh Brewing Company. I am not sure of the connection, but there is definitely something linking Nigh to Plainfield's other main brewery BrewLink. Many of the BrewLink brews are available here too! On the site of a former brewery, this new one has easy access off SR 267 and Hadley Rd (There's a stoplight to help you get in and out of the retail area.) They have plenty of parking on a couple sides of the building and the east end has a patio with a partial overhang for shade. The seating outside is metal and heavy, but I found it comfortable enough. Inside, the space is newly refinished and looked clean and spacious. But since it was noon and in the low 70's and because the patio wasn't nearly full, my group of three chose outdoors. But that didn't affect service at all. The crowd was small due to the pandemic, so having only one woman handling the waitress duties and the hostess duties never became a problem for us. She hustled and remained friendly throughout the meal. She had her mask and they have hand sanitizer dispensers around for patrons by the doorways. I was pleasantly surprised to see they have now added flights of four beers for $8 even though some of the early reviews said they didn't. So if you like trying lots of beers on your first visit, you can do that here! I went with a variety of beers: The "Nigh P.A." is an IPA (6.8% ABV) that had an approachable level of hops. Not overpowering, but a very drinkable beer that won't cause all your other flight choices to taste weird. I then moved on to the "Common Grounds" which is a Dunkelweizen with coffee flavor (5%) If you are someone who likes iced coffee, I would recommend this one. I then chose the "Cordially Yours" Creamy Milk Stout (6.8%) that had bits of chocolate and assorted flavors that reminded me of my youth and sitting around eating a sundae. Very tasty. Not the kind of beer you would slam after mowing the lawn, but just very enjoyable flavor! And I finished up with the "Rico Guavae" Milkshake IPA (7.7&) made with strawberry, guava, and vanilla flavors.) It looks similar to grapefruit juice but has a nice blend of sweet and tart flavors with just a hint of bitter like you expect from an IPA. I enjoyed all four beers without leaving the Nigh collection of brews. They do offer BrewLink and other beers from around the state too. And the food was above my expectations! I ordered a grilled blackened salmon Caesar salad. It was plenty of food without me ordering any sides. The plate was covered with cut romaine lettuce (mostly bite sized, not giant leaves that require additional cutting). It came dressed with Caesar dressing already on, but I suppose you could ask for it on the side. Lots of croutons for a bit of crunch and thinly shaved squares of cheese too. The salmon was light and flaky inside. The blackened side was also the grilled side and offered just a hint of crunch from the searing. Some of the best grilled fish technique I've had! That alone was enough for an impressive rating. My friends tried wraps and mac and cheese and enjoyed their meals. I didn't get photos of their plates since it was our first meal together. I like going with folks who know me and aren't put off by me asking them to wait until I get a picture of their food. Hopefully next time we go out, I will be a little bolder and ask them if I can grab a photo before it arrives. I don't like being rude. Meals are meant to be enjoyed together! And to make the day even better, my friends picked up the tab! No waiting around for the bill to arrive. The waitress efficiently asked how the checks were to be grouped/divided and before I could react, my friend said one bill for the table and to her. I offered, but I have to admit that I do enjoy being treated once in awhile instead of being the one who always picks up the bill! Very nice meal and beer selections. Plenty of seating during the day and I can only hope that once the pandemic passes, more people will support this and other local breweries/restaurants. I have visited twice since this brewpub opened, and is A-OK. The interior has been brightened up since the previous tenant, and of course there are new foods and drinks. My feeling with much of the menu (food and beer) is that it all sounds great, but is hit or miss. First visit was when restaurants had first reopened. I had a salad with fried chicken, which was pretty good, and boyfriend had the burger with mac 'n' cheese (I also had a side of mac). Last weekend we visited and got the loaded fries, and I had the BBQ macaroni and cheese (topped with sauce and pulled pork), and bf had the Italian panini. The macaroni is good, but doesn't have a strong flavor, so it disappears against the flavor of a burger or BBQ pork. There was a lot of sweet BBQ sauce on mine; I think I would ask for at least half the amount if I ordered it again. Bf liked his panini, and we both like the loaded fries - I think that is my favorite item so far. The potatoes are sliced with ridges, and overall the dish has a good flavor. I had a flight at the last visit, and as beer isn't my favorite beverage, got a cider and some of the fruity beers. The cider was my favorite, of course, from Downeast. The beers I had were the Rico Guavae, In the Flesh, and More Than a Peelin', and I liked them in that order. Rico Guavae was indeed smooth, but I wish had been fruitier. In the Flesh had a beautiful aroma, but not a lot of fruitiness in taste. More Than a Peelin' was too sour for me - but it is a sour, so. Boyfriend seemed to enjoy his beers, I think one of the more basic styles was his favorite. There's also an interesting list of cocktails. Now on to COVID preventative measures - eh. First visit was pretty good, until, with an otherwise empty restaurant, they sat folks at the table RIGHT NEXT TO US. We were almost done, and close enough (to the end of our meal, and to the people next to us) that my bf just wanted to leave. This second visit, the restaurant was about half-full when we arrived, and was pretty full when we left. We are at Stage 5 now, but I would have felt more comfortable if they were running a tighter ship. We were seated at the bar and people sat on either side of us (the bar had maybe 75% of normal seats - so maybe 2-3' spacing), the hostess had her mask half on and all the way down frequently, there was no hand sanitizer in the entry (probably not required, but I really appreciate), and the staff got a little close for comfort a couple times. I will probably go back, but maybe when it's dead, for take-out, or when COVID is less of a concern. read more
