We chatted with a couple of store owners, and they all recommended Riverview as the place to eat. We had already made reservations there weeks before. We loved the town and enjoyed the afternoon; we highly recommend spending a sunny summer or fall day there. Now about the restaurant. We were given a very good table in a private corner so that we could talk freely without disruption. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We never felt rushed. The ambiance is not the feature here, but there are nice river views and outdoor dining. We sat inside. The food was very good, even if not what I consider haute cuisine. For the first course, I had the watermelon and feta salad; it was nice and refreshing, even if the watermelon was a bit old. For the main course, I had a pork chop with a potato croquette, and my wife had the fish. We both enjoyed our dinners. We finished with two desserts: bread pudding and a Peach melba. The pizza is sooo good my favorite is one they sell that has a white sauce on it instead of marinara it is delicious. They said it was amazing. They have a great selection of beers including IPAs, Stouts, Sours, and Ciders. I will say this brewery is what kindled my love for Sour beers. They have one that tastes like a red Starburst, so yummy! They also have non alcoholic beer and spirits on their menu. The staff is also friendly. I have seen them frazzled a time or two when it's really busy which is understandable. All in all it's good service both bar tenders and other staff that is working hard cleaning up tables ams sweeping to make sure the tables are ready for the next round of people. Also to note this is not table service. You go to the bar and order your food and either pay there or open a tab. They then bring out your food to you. You can also get beers to take home and other merchandise such as shirts, jackets, and some packaged food items. It very family friendly! Every time I come I see tons of families here, which is nice. Oh and the last thing to note the bathrooms are always clean!!! Which is something I really appreciate about any place that is serving food and drinks.

The vibe and atmosphere of the place was beautiful. They had an elevator which was perfect for strollers and wheelchairs. I would recommend this place for drinks only. Make sure you eat before you come!
