Absolutely exceptional service! Dave, Joe, and Rob did an incredible job removing my Tesla Cybertruck from a mall parking garage with only 6'6" of clearance. It was an extremely challenging situation, but these guys handled it like true professionals. They were careful, patient, knowledgeable, and extremely professional throughout the entire process. They took every precaution to make sure the Cybertruck was removed safely and without any damage. Their teamwork and experience really stood out. A huge thank you to Dave, Joe, and Rob for going above and beyond! You can tell they take pride in their work and genuinely care about their customers and their vehicles. I highly recommend this towing company and especially this amazing team. read more

Nick's Towing Service - Towing Near Me - Rutherford, New Jersey

I sent my grandson there with a problem for his car and they changed everything in the car to hike up the insurance payout, gave him an old BMW loaner with no back up camera, which at his age he definitely needed. Even though I sent my grandson there and I have all the information, he told my grandson what his plan was in rebuilding the car, instead of fixing it. He completely left me out of the conversation even though he said he would discuss with me. My grandsons first car and a teenager, and he discusses it with him. I was so angry but it was done quickly and behind my back. Shady way to do business in my opinion. read more

My son requested a tow from a street in Fairlawn/ Saddlebrook off of Saddle River Road. The tow truck driver (I think his name was Greg) was professional and prompt. Without any difficulty or delay he got the car on the tow truck. We were able to promptly go home and go about our business. I would definitely recommend this company. We did not even wait one half hour for service. Theresa Perls read more

Had my car towed with them through Audi roadside assistance they picked my car up on the side of the road about 5 PM. They were supposed to drop it off at Audi to be serviced due to a recall. I called the next day to see if my car was dropped off they couldn't give me a name of phone number of anybody they gave my keys to, the Audi claim nobody dropped the car off. I would not use this service. They are not accurate when you call them they telling you to call Audi. They gave my keys to anyone now I can't find my car. read more

Five star company! I locked my keys inside my car and my 2 year old was in there. I immediately called the police who then proceeded to call Nicks towing. Not only did they provide top notch service for opening my door, my daughter was sleep and safe, the company didn't charge me! I would recommend Nicks towing to everyone. I appreciate you guys! read more

If i could give Nicks 10 stars I would. We were really stuck in a jam. Our car broke down on route 3 and called nicks for help. JJ was there in less than 15 mins and had our car on his tow in 5 mins flat. My husband and i aren't familiar with the area so we looked up a close auto body shop to drop the car off at. JJ, being familiar with the area recommended a different, more reliable mechanic a little farther down the road, and we are so thankful for his recommendation. I'm sure there's a ton of tow services in the area but i would definitely reach out to Nicks first. Great people. read more

AMAZING! Paul C. Was so professional, helpful and compassionate. I am a little embarrassed to admit I ran out of gas in my car, and Paul came and assisted me with that. He truly went above and beyond by helping me with that ordeal. He truly was a Godsend. Thank you Paul! read more

The owner was incredibly rude to me when I asked for a proper receipt. Unfortunate experience.

Nick's Towing has rescued us several times. When your kid is stuck somewhere after midnight on the side of a highway, you worry! Fortunately, the two times (yes two~!) this happened, it wasn't too far from Nick's, and they sent someone asap. We used Nick's about a year ago for a two, and just recently for a tow. The particulars of these 2 last tows don't really matter - what matters is, they show up when they say they will, and if you are having an emergency, they show up as fast as they can. Really takes the worry off of you. Paul was our tower recently. Great personality and great service! Recommended. read more

Nicks towing did an outstanding job heavy duty hauling needs. They were very pleasant talk to. Understanding. And quick! They made it from time of call to Brooklyn to get my truck in 1 hour which was impressive. The driver JJ was outstanding. Knew what he was doing. Cared about the customer. Courteous wearing a mask at all times. Was very helpful. Even was able to diagnose the issue in the truck and it made perfect sense. Overall it was an amazing experience. JJ made the frustrating experience a pleasant one. Will never use anyone else for towing or roadside again. Nicks will be my only call. Wish I can add more stars! Thanks to everyone at Nicks! read more

*****Beware of Nick's Towing Services in Rutherford, NJ 07070 They handle local municipals and Turnpike and Parkway towing calls. I had a horrible experience when I picked up my car from Nick's Towing Services in Rutherford, NJ. (There was a miscommunication on the registration of my vehicle, the town of East Rutherford presume the vehicle was "stolen" but really the plates were in transition from old to new, therefore they called Nick's Towing to tow the vehicle on 7/16/2015) I inspected the vehicle on the premises on 7/17/2015 before driving away and noticed damage on the ride side side skirt of my car (irregular to normal driving, looks like something rubbed against it and ripped the paint and scratched the top coat in other areas, seems to be metal and could be from skates/jacks/tools from towing the vehicle onto the flatbed tow truck when they were working on the car since they did not have the key to move the actual vehicle) I notified to the staff in the dispatch office of the damage and asked how I can process a claim to get it repaired or at least looked at. The owner I presume that came out and said no way and was very rude with dealing with the situation. No evidence can be provided when I asked for it and they mentioned they don't check the vehicles prior to towing them. This is violation of the ordinance by the way, also witnesses saw the towing operator taking pictures of the cars (they towed another vehicle as well) while towing so then why can't I see the pictures (if there was damage on the car prior to towing, then no issue with the towing company, right? easy process one would think) *This vehicle was repainted only about a year ago, I inspect my vehicle prior to going to repair shops so I know that that damage was done by the towing company and not from normal driving. Unfortunately I was cursed at and had the owner say derogatory things about drivers who have their vehicles towed there and made a rude comment about homosexuals. I left without a resolution because the owner just left me midway through a conversation I was trying with him to find out how we can resolve the issue. He said I quote "Hire an attorney and sue me, I am not Fxxxxxx paying you anything" I deal with a lot of people and businesses and this is the first time that I ever met someone who was unprovoked cursed out a paying customer (me) who just merely asking questions about a process which to most towing companies would be normal. (Getting your car towed is not a daily occurrence for the normal driver, but for a company that deals with this day in and day out, you would imagine they have a protocol or sign that says any damages occur here is not the responsibility of the company etc. etc., no they have no signs posted on the fence or building or mentioned of this on their invoice or office area.) Aside from all the confrontational discussion I had with the owner, I am a paying customer for a bill that is $376 for a tow that is 1-2 miles away from their shop, makes no difference but I feel that I should get at least minimal customer service or support if I have a valid claim. (I am not making a ridiculous request, just asking normal simple questions) **They calculated 7/15/2015 as the initial date of the tow but other records and witnesses say it is 7/16/2015, so Nick's Towing company charged additional day for storage. This could also be an error on the office who processed the report, human error they could have meant to write down 7/16 but wrote 7/15. ***Please do yourself a favor and do not deal with this kind of company who treat human beings like this. You are a human being and you deserve some decency when dealing with a business that is contracted by the municipal of East Rutherford and the state of New Jersey. read more

It was beyond a pleasure working with and having Nick's help me out. They bent over backwards for me, again beyond what they had to do to help me get my car back to NY. Let me go on record and quash race being an issue with my situation. I'm an African American woman and Have commuted daily from NY to NJ for 10 years usithe turnpike. A truck dumped a bolder onto the tnpk at 645a and at least 7 cars hit it, myself included. After calling 911, about 15 mins later, I had the pleasure of being picked up by tow truck driver Paul. He was polite, professional, respectful, insightful & even stopped off route so that I could grab coffee if I wanted. He suggested an auto shop that was really fair- HNR in carlstadt. For the record, the company CANNOT set the price; the STATE does. It also depends on where you break down. Long story short, I'll call this guy personally for help if I ever breakdown again in NJ! read more

My car stopped responding due to all of its systems shutting down and overheating. This tow service responded and the man who arrived was outstanding in understanding the problem and willingness to tow my car to a repair shop in New York City that had previously serviced my car. He also understood my problem of making it to the airport in time to make my flight and went out of his way to get me there in time to make my flight. I would highly recommend this service and the young worker, Brian who responded. read more

Called Darota at Nick's towing yesterday. Needed my son's Acura TL towed to Maywood Acura the following day. Darota called me back in less the five minutes with all the information and my requested 6:30 AM pick up. Darota was so efficient and friendly. At 6:15AM The flatbed was here "yes" early !! The driver Paul got right to work on my vehicle it was not an easy pick up because the car was not running. Paul said not a problem and with great care moved the car and got it hooked up on the flatbed. My vehicle was dropped off by Paul at Acura with no issues. The price was very reasonable for such quality work and a knowledgeable driver like Paul. This place is a winner. Great job !!! Robert D Wood Ridge NJ read more

Needed help when I had 2 flat tires and just 1 spare . The driver that showed up was clean and professional. This company is very well known in NJ. I had seen a couple negatives on here and that's because those people had problems with the police. I know that this tow service handles lots of police calls as well. Its not the fault of the tow service if you don't register your car. Common sense is so common. read more

Worst rip off company, the customer service is worst, they don't treat you like customers because they think that you owe them. My car didn't have snow when they took it and they gave me to full of snow, they didn't even help, and then I couldn't find the car key and they said that it was in the car and it turned out that the guy who took my car out forgot it in his pocket. Just be careful because when you get into a car accident they don't even let you call your AAA insurance, by the time you realized what happened a tow truck it's already on its way. And they also charge you money for snow cleaning. In conclusion worst company ever. If you are going to use it do yourself a favor and do some research. read more

I got towed in town because there was a snowstorm, oops, I didn't realize that you couldn't park in certain areas when there was snow. I walked five miles in the snow storm, they charged me over 200. I am busting my ass in nursing school in class, ten hours a day three days a week, living off of ramen and plain bread, and the days I'm not in school, I'm working, I'm working hard to pay for my car and my rent. And when they said my car was ready, I go outside to see one of the employees driving my car that I work hard for driving my car without even shoveling off the snow. There's literally a foot of snow on the windshield. Then they left me, to shovel the entire car with my bare hands. I just walked five miles in a snow storm. You want to tow my car because I mistakenly parked in an area where I shouldn't have parked, at least help your customer's take the snow off, and please tell your workers to wipe their feet before they leave an abundance of snow in one of your customer's cars, I'm not sure how these guys were raised, but I wasn't raised in a barn. read more
