She said I had to have it done because they could break at any moment. I was stopping in New York City first and decided to go to my boss's dentist there. He is a major NYC dentist who treats everyone in film/tv. I went in thinking I was going to have to have the crowns done. He came in with the X-rays and asked if I drank coffee & red wine. I said yes. He said the "cracks" were lines from years of dark colored beverages. He then said, "It's one of two scenarios. Either this dentist in Fort Worth really thinks you have cracks. Or she's trying to get you to spend thousands of dollars you don't need to. I don't know which scenario is worse. Never go back there. Your teeth are fine. Get out of here and have a good trip." It's been very difficult to find a dentist in Fort Worth who's not all about the "sell." Worse than a car salesman. So I make the drive to Dallas because an honest doctor is worth everything!

A tech came and took my x-rays. Afterwards the hygienist showed me the x-rays as she was going through them and explained everything she saw. I was a little floored when she told me I had not one but six cavities. I don't know that I've had six cavities my entire life let alone a six/eight month time frame between checkups. After my teeth were checked for cavities, a third person came in to explain the charges for my insurance. At this point I had been in their office for an hour. It was at that time I was told the hygienist (different from the one that checked for cavities) was unavailable and that I couldn't get the cleaning I scheduled or see the dentist and needed to make another appt. Right now I am torn. I am torn between thinking this is all a big fluke (because they have excellent reviews on here) and thinking this is a scam place. This is the second time I came into this business where the lady in the front desk was rude and unfriendly to me. BUT ONE MINUTE LATER a Caucasian male walked in and she was super sweet as pie to him and said "Hello! How can I help you Sir? What is your name please?" When I complained they told me to find another dentist which I did. My dentist who I have been with for years now is a million times better than this one.
