A baker's rack to the right sells day-old bread at discounted prices (make your own croutons!) I opted for an almond (sourdough) croissant and a small coffee; I was asked if I wanted a mug or a to go cup? I was given a beautiful glazed mug - very charming! Two things worth mentioning: There's a small seating area downstairs, and five large tables upstairs. The stairs? A polite way of describing them is, "grandfathered-in". The rise/run makes it difficult to navigate if you're in thick boots, carrying a child, or have stiff knees. The pastry had a beautiful crunch. I enjoyed the almond flavor. And then I found: cherry preserves? I'm aware that "croissant et confiture" (eaten with jam) is a standard French breakfast, but it did change the mouth feel of the treat. I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something earthier and beautifully executed.

Since they pre-make them and keep them in the freezer, it was solid. The drive from Hamburg back to East Aurora made for great thaw time. Once it softened to the perfect texture, she transferred it to a bowl so she could mix together all the different flavors and textures. She absolutely loved it! We went with the Uncle Papi, which can only be described as pizza and a fried chicken sandwich having a beautiful, messy love child. The chicken filet was impressively large, and the Sunday sauce? So good it would absolutely earn a seal of approval from my Italian grandma. The fries were plentiful, and while I regret not testing one of their fun dipping sauces, the house-made blue cheese did not disappoint. We also ordered the Messy Pressy (aka the poutine burger), and it lived up to its name in the best possible way. Delicious, indulgent, and led to a nap on the ride home. Already looking forward to coming back--and possibly making it a personal goal to work my way through every burger and sandwich on the menu. The line for the drive through window was out into the road and blocking traffic on a side street, so we opted to go in. The line inside was bursting the doors at the seams, but we squeezed in. It was around a half hour's wait before we got to the counter and ordered our two Blizzards. Small size, one chocolate brownie and one mint Oreo. I was not expecting such a small cup of ice cream to be $5, but good thing for the sale. The brownie Blizzard was delicious from what little I was given to taste. The Mint Oreo was very poorly mixed, although I tried not to judge given the length of the line and hectic pace of the workers. All the mint flavoring and green food color was left at the bottom of the cup (You can probably see how it's missing color in the photo). The result was a sugary vanilla-like flavor for most of the treat with a slight rush of mint at the end. I'm glad for the experience, I'll say that. And if you need an ice cream treat before the seasonal stands open, DQ is probably one of your few choices.

We told them that we would just call our doctor back and get it sent over somewhere else then they insisted on having it ready in 90 minutes. She goes to pick it up hours later and gets told it's not ready. Complete lack of communication in the pharmacy department and we will never be back.
