Five and a half hours after I bought a replacement screen for an ipad it started peeling off from the ipad itself. I cant believe I paid $150 for this repair. The ipad screen is actually now worse than before I brought it in. There isn't any adhesive on the new screen as it had on my original cracked screen and this is apparently why it's peeling off the ipad. I still need to find out exactly what Smart Repair is able to do at this point since I feel that I've been obviously ripped off. I can't believe I paid $150 for a screen that is worst than my old cracked screen. I wish that I should have never went to this place. Now I'm short of money and the ipad screen is falling apart. My advice would be to never bring your ipads to this place for any type of repair. read more

Had a crack on the upperleft corner of my phone that was messing up my front camera for some time but didn't wanna spend too much on a replacement. wow! I rarely write reviews but for these guys I have to! so...My iPhone breaks in newport while camping. Two technicians come to my campsite and explain they were able to fix my phone back at their office but not onsite. They called me with complete details and costs once they were back at their office and promptly fixed the phone at a fair cost. Then my wife's back up phone was having problems and they were able to get a new cover from their san diego office mailed immediately for another quick fix. The best part about this business is that they did everything they could to help me. They even brought my repaired phone back to my campsite and looked for several different price solutions rather then just a retail cost. These guys are my superheroes saving my cracked iPhone 5. I had been to so many apple stores and looking up online to solve my problem not being able to back up my cell phone because of the dysfunctional cracked touch screen. All of apple people turned me down and had no idea how to fix the problem. But when I came to this place they easily helped me back up my cell phone so that I could safe and transfer everything to another phone for just $40! They even lended me their personal laptop to help me do it. This is opposed to how Apple had no idea how I could retrieve my phone back up and would refer me to some third party that would charge $500-800. Totally saved by them!! Not only was he courteous, he offered me a free assessment of my phone knowing I was still trying to decide on a course of action. Ali expertly opened up my phone and proceeded to troubleshoot. Soon thereafter he identified the problem and offered to replace my camera for me. Even though I declined (because I was still considering), he respected my decision without pushing the fix on me.
