Staff wear masks and they have plexi glass to separate you from the nail tech. I got gel removal and shellac manicure. Total was $50+ tax. They take cash, debit and credit. The nail tech was very thorough and did a great job removing my gel and making it smooth again. She cut and reshaped my nails and removed the dead skin. Her work was pretty good as the shellac was smooth and didn't get any on my cuticles or skin. She made sure to check my nails were evenly shaped compared to my other hand. I also liked their colour selection. Happy I found a new nail place I like!

Despite the strong fumes, Tips 2 Toes provided masks, which helped offset the smell. I had a good experience with the shellac mani and reg pedi, and there are massage chairs for the pedi. The salon also offers cold beverages. My only complaint is that there were several houseflies - some landing on me and eating the nail particles around me; the main door was open throughout the experience, but I'm not sure where the flies were coming from. After five weeks, my nail colour has barely chipped, even with a lot of hand washing and a multi-day camping festival trip. Tip: pay in cash for a discount.

I very seldom get a mani pedi, so please forgive me if your opinion differs from mine in terms of their colour selection, but I'd they have over 100 colours for shellac which was overwhelming but nice because there's something for everyone for every season. I got my pedicure done by Tina and my manicure done by Amy. Both of them are very meticulous, gentle, and patient. They both took the habit of checking in with me to see if I liked what they had done so far, which I appreciated. While I am not very picky or particular, I could tell that both of them cared about making my nails look great. A few other things: - Like other yelpers have said, if you're looking for relaxation and a quiet ambience, this is not the place for that, though they have great massage chairs. - Located by Summerhill Station, you can imagine the clientele they get. I walked in in my workout gear after a 12h night shift and felt out of place with women in fur coats, expensive bags, and pearls. This didn't trump the service though, they treat you as a customer they aim to please. - Tools used are all individually packaged and they open them up in front of you. - Pay flat rate with cash, tax added for card payments. I finally got up the courage to address it, in a very diplomatic way. When my service was finished I tipped what I was happy with. The girl held up my bill and showed it high in the air for everyone to see While speaking Vietnamese. I'm out. Vip customer. They are showing the tips now apparently.

The ladies were very nice but I am not impressed with the nails and will not be returning.
