Came here 2-3 times and had good service but recently, it was horrible. I will not be back.
I booked an appointment for my friend and I at 6:00 pm for a nail design set. I showed a picture to the ONLY NAIL TECH THAT DID DESIGNS and was told it was $70. I was not told that she could not make the exact design at that time. My friend and I then waited until 7:00/7:30 pm and did not complete our sets until around 8:47 pm. We were met with harsh nail technicians that did not stop or attempt to not be as rough. I have a cut on my finger and all of my nailbeds hurt at this time.
I asked for short and round nails and asked several times to make the set shorter. The manager did not make it shorter and said his nail tech will comply. The nail tech did not make it shorter and instead made it pointed. I got pointed long nails instead of the short round ones I wanted.
I then got the design that did not look like the photo at all (please see the photos below). The design was not blended at all and has air bubbles in the polish, empty areas where there is NO POLISH and cracks. I was later told that they were unable to make the exact design. If that was the case I would not have asked for a design and left it at that.
Since I was not satisfied with my set, I reported this to them via instagram, their store directly and then the manager. I provided evidence showing the air bubbles, poor design quality and cracks. I also showed the injury where I was cut after the bleeding stopped.
The next day I went to complain and talk to the manager directly to ask for a refund and was given a nail tech who PRETENDED TO BE THE MANAGER. I then called the TRUE MANAGER who said he was going to investigate the cameras so he can get the full picture and then talk to this team.
He then called me later in the evening stating the following:
1) I looked HAPPY with my nail set and that his team was not at fault. Never did I say 'i love my nail set and am very happy. I was also wearing a mask - I definitely do not know where he got the I am so happy with my service from. I never once outwardly said I loved the set. I initially paid first as it was the end of the night and while the set is not to my satisfaction (and I did not notice the issues prior to leaving), the nail tech did do her 'job'
2)When I asked why our appointment was delayed so much despite stating the time and confirming we would be taken in at 6:00 pm, the manager told me I was at fault as I could have left and not stayed at the salon (blatant disrespect for my time and patience).
3) I was told by the manager that this issue was a waste of his own time during today. I have never met someone in customer service who said resolving conflict is a WASTE OF THEIR TIME.
4) This set was a gift from my boyfriend - he is the one who paid and is the customer as well. When my boyfriend talked to the manager he refused to hear him out and speak with him as 'he was not the customer and not at the salon' therefore irrelevant. He paid. He is a customer. You do not refuse to speak to someone and talk rudely.
5) I was told by one lady they can redo the set. I was told by another that I could not get the redo or refund. I was told by the manager that because my story was false quote on quote, no refund will be provided. He also implied I was lying and that my bad experience was non-existent.
6) Despite showing clear photos of the air bubbles, scratches, missing polish, injury and incorrect nail shape/length my evidence was not enough as apparently I was required to take a bloody photo of my cut and provide it to him- as if my body does not stop bleeding after a few minutes from injury. He stated that he will pay for my doctor receipts but I highly doubt he will keep to his word.
7) The manager refused to tell me the refund policy and stated 'as the owner i make it based on situation'. A store/company should have a refund policy in place. This is a SCAM.
