I walked in last Friday before family day and had an appt. My nails looked beautiful until they chipped on the third day, this is not what I was expecting. I walked in on the fourth day which was today on a Tuesday asked them to fix my nails and they made me wait 10 minutes two fix two nails. As I finally got to sit down they gave an attitude towards me because I asked them to fix my second nail that was chipped. I paid them good on Friday and I always tip and they shouldn't have made me feel this way, guilty. I am not going to feel guilty for the job that was done poorly to my nails. I am a paying customer that should have been treated with respect and quality service. I love my nails now but the service isn't nice they don't tell you their name or ask customers how their day went... So I'm conclusion I would go back if they haven't given me an attitude and my nails wouldn't chip on the third day. This was my first time going to a nail spa, I got a shellac mani and pedi. The place was really nice, kinda hard to find considering the area it's in but still really nice. The seats for pedicures were comfortable, they had tvs everywhere and were playing pretty recent movies. For my pedicure, I had Yumi. She's really nice and was very aware of the fact that it was my first time so she tried to make it as comfortable as possible. For my manicure, I had Wenona with the help of Anna, for one of my designs and they were both incredibly attentive to what I wanted from the shape and style, down to the design and how I felt with them on. I've been going to this nails salon for a good few months. I found them through a friend of mine that had gotten her nails done from here. The salon is clean and has a few TVs for each wall. They always have a new movie running, which is good to keep yourself occupied for 45 mins or so by the time your nails are done. The staff are very sweet and patient. It is a busy salon, so you do have to book an appointment. Over the few months I have been going to this salon, I've noticed that they take there time to make sure the finishing product is perfect. Most consistent nail place ive been to, Ive been to several locations in the area and have unfortunately had to experience some horrible results before I found this gem. This place is clean, professional, big and beautiful. Ive been serviced by 5 different people and the results have been consistent. I was going to their Woodbridge location and thought why not try them out in Maple? I must say I was impressed. I got a pedicure done and again the same concept of each customer with their own bucket and personal bag of water- only this time my chair was a massage chair. Its not a good quality massage chair by any means but at least there's some massaging going on. They are so good at what they do. I received a much needed pampering and my feet looked amazing! I was first introduced to Didadi by a friend who happened to drop by one day. She casually mentioned us getting our nails done together one day knowing that I am EXTREMELY picky with my nails because of my personal experience as a nail technician. NAILS: Gavin blew me away with his professionalism and more importantly perfectionism when it came to my nail shape and refill. I get UV gel + Shellac ($40) and at Didadi, no powder gels are used. The UV gel is actually a gel. Abundance of shellac colours, however I noticed their regular polish selection isn't as vast. Disclaimer: Gavin is the only one who's ever done my nails so I can't speak on the quality of the other techs but I do notice that all have equal amounts of regulars. ENVIRONMENT: Clean, bright salon with elegant interior design. Always a good movie on their TVs which is an added bonus. Their pedicure tubs are jet-less and look like barrels which are unique. My only feedback is that their time management isn't always the greatest so remember to book appointments if you're visiting on weekends and even then, prepare to wait a bit more. I have been going to this nail salon regularly for about a year now. I went recently because I wanted pretty nails for New Year's Eve. The past few times I was not happy but this time was definitely the worst. The nails I received were splotchy and the shape of the nails were not consistent. Let's just say the shape and length on one hand does not match the other. I decided to go back to have them fixed because I really wasn't happy with them. Upon my return, they gave me a very hard time and initially were going to charge me another $10 to fix. I initially already paid $52 for a fill which was definitely not worth it plus tip. They tried to tell me that it wasn't their fault. Needless to say, I will never go back to this nail salon due to their lack of customer service and accountability. My nail tech here was amazing. I was on vacation and my old gel polish needed to be taken off and I wanted to get a new color on. I got an almond shape and great light blue shellac color. She did amazing on the shaping, I am getting so many compliments on them. I got them done over a week ago and they still look good. No chips or breaks. Horrible experience. This is the third time I went to this salon and it was always okay, but this time I am extremely disappointed. I started getting a biogel refill with one girl who seemed to know what she was doing. This was the first time I've seen her and she didn't have a name tag, but I enjoyed the first 5 minutes with her. Then another customer sat down next to me and Wenona started working on her nails. The two employees were talking to each other and decided that because the customer sitting next to me was getting a design done, she should switch seats with me and get that done with the (obviously) more professional employee. I ended up having my fingers in so much pain from the way Wenona was handling them. She let the machine accidentally spin onto my finger twice and didn't apologize even though I was in obvious pain, and she cut my cuticle down to the point of blood and when I asked to use a solution to stop the bleeding, she insisted it was okay. I ended up staining a brand new dress after I left because I didn't realize I was still bleeding. By my definition, that is definitely not okay. I got these nails done for my birthday and I'm just upset. Don't go here if you expect to be treated with respect. read more

Spent $80 here on manicure (with shellac)/pedicure & eyebrow waxing. The staff were polite, but after completing my Mani/Pedi, they just didn't speak to me...I had informed staff 3 times that I wanted waxing as well (when making the appointment, upon arrival, and after my nails), but no one said a word. Finally, my friend fed up and asked again who would be helping me, they told us "a few more minutes".. The results: my eyebrows still had long stands after leaving (of course only noticed in the car mirror), and my shellac chipped & peeled within 3 days. The staff is really nice, the place is clean enough, and they have TVs playing good movies to watch while you're getting nails done. I had Cindy do my nails, and I will definitely request her in the future, I love the result! She was really gentle with the machine and took her time shaping them how I wanted, with very clean polish lines. It's quite busy, they seem to have customer loyalty with regular returning guests, so make an appointment. Update: One nail hadn't dried properly, so it peeled off the same day. I've had my fair share of bad nail experiences, but every time I've been to Didadi my nails always look and stay amazing! They do tend so spend a little more time than average on a gel refill, but it definitely shows in the quality. Color variety: regular nail polish isn't as vast as their gel option but still a nice variety of colors. Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I travelled to the location across from Vaughan Mills from Brampton, because I knew they would have the nail art I wanted. I booked an appointment for 2:30pm didn't get serviced until 3pm. As the gentleman ( Jason) was doing my nails, I showed him the design i desired and he instructed me that someone else would have to do them. As I waited again for 10mins. Someone else came to service me, and as I inquired about the nail jewels they had, the nail tech made a point to tell me " I need to make a decision, because her 4o'clock just arrived" so I packed up all the jewels and told her no I don't want anything! Completely shocked and disrespected, if my appointment time was honored at 2:30 there would be no overlap on appointments. For the nail tech to rush me as if I wasn't the one waiting around, was totally unprofessional, after all I'm paying my money for the service! This place is ridiculous. There's only 2 good artists there (Gavin and Jason). Whatever you do, don't get your nails done by Yumi. My nails look awful. I was there a week ago and one of my nails was curving downward. Then that nail broke 2 days later. So I went back to get it fixed and she redid the one nail. And made it a completely different shape, and it is extremely longer than the rest, and also a different colour than the rest. She made me pick the colour and I was struggling to find the same one she had used on my other nails. Once I found one that I thought matched I asked her opinion and she said ya its the same. She obviously just wanted to get rid of me and didn't care. When I noticed it was a slightly darker pink I asked if she could repaint it with less coats and she looked extremely annoyed and redid it. Once I saw that the nail looked awful I just wanted to get out of there as I had already complained so many times. Honestly just don't go there if you care about your nails.
