I walked in on the fourth day which was today on a Tuesday asked them to fix my nails and they made me wait 10 minutes two fix two nails. As I finally got to sit down they gave an attitude towards me because I asked them to fix my second nail that was chipped. I paid them good on Friday and I always tip and they shouldn't have made me feel this way, guilty. I am not going to feel guilty for the job that was done poorly to my nails. I am a paying customer that should have been treated with respect and quality service. I love my nails now but the service isn't nice they don't tell you their name or ask customers how their day went... So I'm conclusion I would go back if they haven't given me an attitude and my nails wouldn't chip on the third day. Plus prices aren't that bad but they charge extra for some things that other places don't charge..

My nails look amazing and I love not having to worry about them getting ruined. They use a special technique when using the bioseaweed gel which keeps the manicure lasting forever. Would highly recommend trying it. Just a warning it is addictive. Once your nails look this good it's hard to stop lol.

So I was in dire need to get a mani & pedi yesterday. I did some research on Yelp and located two salons. I walked into both and none of them can take me in cause they were fully booked. Given that I didn't make an appointment, I understand and left with disappointment. On my way home, I decided to pop into this plaza near Vaughan Mill Mall to try my luck with a random nail salon. That is where I spotted Serena Nails & Hair Care. The owner, Serena, greeted me as I walked in. I inquire about a shellac mani and regular pedi and she explained that its $50, but because I had gel nail on, it would be an extra $5. Sounds fair enough to me. I asked if I can get it done now. The salon was full but she somehow squeezed me in immediately. I had one person, believed his name was Minh, worked on my pedi right away. He was very gentle and took the time to beautify my raunchy feet. When it comes to painting my nails, I was not satisfied with the original colour that I selected and he helped me chose one that I was completely satisfied with. Then I have Jenny who worked on my mani. She was very patient when it comes to removing my stubborn gel nail and ensure that I was ok the whole time. She noticed the colour I selected for my toes and informed me that there is the exact same colour in shellec if I am interested to do the same for my fingernails. Of course I went for it. I didn't need to say or show her any photos of how I want my nails. I just simply said I want the "almond" shape and she got it right away! Oh did I mentioned that they offer one complimentary drink?? The owner Serena offered Vietnamese coffee to me and it was delicious! When she learned that I had to leave soon, she put the drink in a to go cup for me. Very attentive! Being in the service industry, I really value good service and this experience really blew me away! If you are in the Vaughan area and in need of a mani & pedi or just simply want to pamper yourself, then Serena Nails & Hair Care is the place to go =)
