I came by to try this place having tried other vegan burger places and Nice burger blew me away. I had the Mexicali and sweet potato fries and both were great. The burger was very flavorful and not super greasy. The only downfall was the burger I chose had guacamole and was beginning to fall apart after about 3 bites. But to me, that's a minor thing considering the freshness and flavor. Customer service was phenomenal and the employee was extremely welcoming and friendly. Came here once with a friend, and had to bring my parents to try it. And let me just say, we all loved it! I cannot believe that the place is vegan! The burgers are juicy, and if you get one with bacon, even the bacon tastes real! And don't get me started on the fries. I ordered mine animal style (like the fries from in-n-out), and they are better than the original. The portion size is huge, and the melted cheese, plus the grilled onions and spread sauce is soooooo sooooo good!! The interior of the place is adorable. It looks like an old fashioned restaurant. The only thing that surprises me about this place is how empty it's been both times that I've visited! I'm hoping it's just a fluke; maybe they were off days. Because seriously, for how good this place is, it definitely deserves to have more customers sitting in their cute little booths. So happy that this place opened up so close by! The food is excellent and cruelty free. I ordered for curbside pickup and they brought my order directly to my car. I got a breakfast burger, tenders, and tots along with this açaí soda. Everything was so delicious, I highly recommend all of it. Their tenders had the most realistic texture and taste, perfectly breaded, and they went well with the ranch, chipotle, and honey mustard sauces that I tried. The burger was huge and I love the vegan bacon that they use on it. Definitely recommend that because it's top tier. They were out of the other soda that I ordered but the employee that helped me out got me this caffeine free açaí soda and it was delicious. The items I've tried were the nuggets, breakfast burger, mexicali burger, and chikn tenders. The nuggets were the worst item in my opinion. It was so greasy and I was very disappointed because it looked so delicious. They were bland and oily. The tenders on the other hand are DELICIOUS. The spices are prominent there and the texture is nice and crispy. Mexicali burger was good. Just your average burger, no complaints. The breakfast burger had so much in it so I was very excited but it was just bland and mush. Wouldn't get it again. I'll definitely try out more items. My family has been a fan of Nice Guys since we discovered their Costa Mesa location about 6 months ago. The burgers and tater tots are the best we've ever had and we eat there or at their Santa Ana location at least a couple of times per month. We were so excited when this location opened up because it is so close to our home. It's a nicer location than the other two and the food here is as good as (my wife says even better than) the others. However, I have to take one star off for confusing us by naming this location "Nice Burger" instead of "Nice Guys 100% Vegan". Also, I have a personal pet peeve with brands that describe their product in their name. Yum Yum Donuts. . .not so yummy. So Delicious. . .not to this vegan. Nice Burger...total understatement.
