The spicy Thai pizza is so good! It was a hit amongst carnivores and vegans alike. My friends order it with "extra sauce on the side" but I failed to do so and still found it to be excellent! I love the corn dogs and haven't tried the desserts yet but definitely look forward to trying their whole menu at some point :) There's plenty of seating if you opt to dine in but it tends to be pretty warm inside so I always get take out. Two stars only because it's a fully vegan business, and I love fully vegan businesses. Unfortunately, the pizza took over 30 minutes to make (even when there was hardly anyone in the restaurant) and was honestly one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. I would let it go if it was just for the taste, but within fifteen minutes of eating this, I started having bad stomach pain and felt dizzy that I had to sit down. Additionally, I paid extra for a topping and could count literally three pieces of mushrooms on the entire pizza. The cheese (not sure what kind they use) was overpowering the entire pizza. This led me to search Yelp, where I found other people have also had similar experiences. I won't be returning here for the pizza at least. The best vegan pizza I've ever tried! I've been frequenting this place for years and it's my absolute favorite. They make quality vegan pizzas that taste amazing. SO GOOD! I keep coming back for that bomb vegan pizza! Even my husband who eats meat, loves this pizza. The pizza dough is HEAVEN. I still don't understand why the vegan pizza dough is so much better than regular pizza dough. This time I ordered the House Special and a kombucha to wash it down. The House Special came with white sauce, chick'n, tomatoes and pineapple. I love pineapple on pizza! It's so yummy. This was a great pizza. What a terrific surprise it was to happen upon this vegan pizzeria. I'm not vegan although I do love a good pizza. It was after the dinner hour and we were hungry. This used to be my absolute favorite pizza--truly excellent. The quality, the flavor, the overall experience... it was consistently amazing. Recently, something has changed. It's still good, but not quite what it once was. I've also noticed different staff behind the counter, which may or may not be part of the shift, but the difference between my first experiences and my last two visits is pretty stark. On one of my visits, I was surprised to be charged $2.50 (plus tax) for ranch dressing--something I don't recall ever happening before. Then, on my most recent visit, I asked if my payment could be switched from one card to another and was told no. I'm not sure why a refund couldn't be issued and the payment simply processed on a different card. More concerning, the last two times I've eaten here, I've had a noticeable physical reaction--my heart rate spikes significantly. The first time, I thought it was a fluke, but after it happened again, I can't ignore it. My body is clearly telling me something is off. The Spicy Thai pizza is the truth! Panang curry is my favorite Thai dish, and this pizza tastes like panang on bread. SO GOOD. I'm from Chicago, so the quality of pizza crust is very important to me, and this crust is very good. I'm a huge fan of cheesecake, and while I thought the cheesecake was good, I wouldn't order it again. I'm a huge fan of how dense cheesecake is, and this is lighter, like a Japanese cheesecake. I think some people would LOVE the cheesecake here, but it's not for me. It's fine overall especially now that they put enough toppings again BUT I got food poisoning because they touched the condiments with dirty hands then let those condiments touch food directly (that isn't sanitary). The condiments should be separate from food or placed in another bag like they did in the past that's just common sense that this young male cashier should have and I hope the owner confronts this worker. Usually I would throw the food away but I needed to eat for health reasons. Also some things have changed and aren't as good as before so they need to go back to their old recipes. For example, the meatballs in spaghetti were so bland and tasted freezer burnt with a tough texture and the sauce changed for the worst too. A nice surprise. I was awarded a $20 Square App meal by the HR Director for some work and chose this place. Somehow the staff couldn't redeem the award when I printed out the coupon rather than load another app (he is looking into that). I ordered the Signature Mediterranean. It was entirely attractive. Crust was good, not really thin or thick, with a pleasant taste and texture. A good fresh flavorful pie, not salty or greasy. The cheese was not that weird watery vegan variety. We visited this vegan pizza restaurant today after having a great experience here a couple of years ago, so we were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, today was very different. My wife and I ordered the buffalo wings and the meat lovers pizza. The food was not what we remembered--flavor and quality were noticeably off. We finished the wings and only ate a few slices of the pizza before deciding to leave. Shortly after getting into the car, my wife's stomach began hurting badly and she felt nauseous, to the point where we had to sit in the car for about 20 minutes before she felt well enough for us to drive. I went back inside to let the restaurant know, simply to inform them that she may have gotten food poisoning. The response was very unpleasant and dismissive--just a brief "sorry" with no concern or follow-up. We weren't looking for anything other than acknowledgment and care. I have quite a few hard core vegan friends that have recommended this place to me. And I was kind of craving pizza today and decided to give this place a try. Is a quaint little place had plenty of seating and everyone was super friendly. They were quite a large variety of items and meat substitutes. I'm sure anybody that prefers meat would not be missing out. I however, decided that I wanted to try something that was decidedly vegan and not one with a meat substitute. I also prefer not to have pineapple on my pizza unless it is a Hawaiian pizza so it limited some of my choices. I decided to try their veggie delight, which I tend to like even at normal pizza joints, and thought this would be a good comparison. The food came out piping hot, and I was a little bit too impatient, burning the roof of my mouth, however, the flavor was wonderful, good enough that I completely forgot to add their vegan Parmesan cheese to it. I overheard that they now make their own in-house cheese for the pizza which personally I cannot tell that it was not real cheese. I was vegan for two years and would come to this place weekly because of how good the pizza was. The toppings are so delicious and the "cheese" is so good that I crave it even now as a non vegan. I highly recommend the "pepperoni" and "sausage" toppings as it really is the best I have tried there. Almost forgot to mention that the crust is absolutely perfect in terms of preparation. It's not hard and flat like a thin crust nor is it too thick and tasteless like cardboard. It's delicate but filling and retains that delicious freshly baked flavor. Only thing to mention is it can be a bit stuffy in the summer but the food and welcoming service more than makes up for it.
