That's the actual size of their slice of pizza
    Mike M.

What a fabulous little hole in the wall. I came here for dinner on Thursday May 28, 2026. I decided to get the Greek salad and 8 wings. Irving is working hard behind the counter cooking but also serves you. The wings are not fried in deep fat rather baked in the oven and are some of the best wings I've ever had. The salad was almost a meal in itself. I was going to get a slice of pizza but when I saw the $5.99 price I decided not to. Than I saw someone get served a slice and let me tell you it is not your typical slice. It is huge. The picture on the wall is the actual size. This is a great place for lunch or dinner.

Absolute perfection: Crispy undercarriage, perfect amount of sauce, perfect amount of cheese and other ingredients...... this hands down is one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time! Calixtos has a special place in my heart and belly, and anytime I've got a craving, this is the only pizza to satisfy it. I could easily sit down and have another pizza, to myself.

    giant pepperoni & cheese pizzas

Bought 2 of the giant pizzas and it was the perfect amount to feed 36 ppl (forgot to take a pic before they dug in)! It was a real crowd pleaser; everyone loved the taste of the pizzas, how hot & fresh they were, & the thin crust. The staff were also all super friendly and gladly accommodated to our requests and delivery :) Overall, highly recommend checking them out and I am all for supporting small businesses!

Great freshly baked thin crust pizza, def a rare find! Service is also good with extremely friendly staff. If you're in a rush, would highly recommend calling in advance as they make your pizzas and food upon receiving your order. Ambience is very chill, been here twice in one week already!

Door dash is cheaper, but the restaurant markets themselves as closed on the platform so you can spend more money on slice life
    Diana R.

Interesting that they don't let you order online using DoorDash. According to their website, they "prefer" slicelife.com, which is convenient for them because it's two dollars more expensive to order on slice life rather than door dash. And the best part is, according to door dash, "the restaurant is currently closed," even during normal business hours. So the people ordering on slice life spend more money. What a sad scam

Cheese slice with tomato, onion, mushroom, garlic, and basil

The lady who helped me in front ( I think her name was Steph) She was so sweet and patient while I took a while to order. The only disappointing thing about my pizza is that I should've got the giant size instead of one slice. Definitely will be back to this cute little place for more yummy pizza.

We bought a slice of pizza... they cut the slice into 5 pieces..

We called ahead to ask if they sold pizza by the slice. They said yes. A pepperoni and cheese slice is $6. Cool, can we get two slices? Can we upgrade and make them supreme slices? Yes. Once we got there and they rang us up... "$22 please" ?! We ordered two slices? Your medium pizza is $22. It's $6 for a slice of pepperoni pizza and it cost $5 extra per slice to add bell peppers, onion, sausage, mushroom to make it a supreme. I wasn't a fan of cutting a slice of pizza into tiny pieces either. I ordered a slice not cut up squares of pizza.

Pizza by the slice that is made to order (which means it takes some time). Slices are $5.99 here. It cost me $1 extra per spice for pepperoni and an extra $.75 for other toppings. The slices here are thin and crispy but large. They pre-cut my slices into eight mini pieces. I got pepperoni and olive and pepperoni and mushrooms. They were generous with the toppings. The thin crust held up well with all the toppings and cheese and is not doughy at all. Overall great flavor. For once slice it's not bad, but when you buy two slices and it's $16, makes you wonder if you should just get a whole pizza somewhere. Anyhow, just a thought, but I do like their pizza. Calixtos is located on Magnolia and Heil in the strip mall right before the freeway entrance.

Do you have vegan options or can we bring our own cheese for the pizza?

You can bring me your own cheese I have done it for my vegan neighbors KENSHO many times they just have to provide their own cheese or toppings if they like sosmething on it.

    Do u guys deliver?

Yes we do. From 11:45am to 9pm if you need a delivery anytime sooner you would have to call the day before to make sure a staff member comes in earlier thank you.

We got three of the slices our waiter recommended: Stay loose, Haole, sauce addiction, and mo honey mo problems. We loved that they had Detroit slices as well as the normal thin crust. The crust on the Detroit slice is light and airy even though it looks super thick like a focaccia slice. Although we liked the Detroit slice the thin pies were definitely our favorites. The crust isn't tough and was a good balance of crispy and fluffy. I thought the Stay Loose, Haole was a bit too salty and could have used more pineapple but the Sauce Addiction was amazing. I love the texture, I love the style, I just wish it wasn't so salty. The fries were so incredible! I would come back for the fries itself and the hard cider was delicious! Service: Very amazing! They were very attentive to us, especially since we were a big party. The waitress noticed that we were squishing because we didn't really have enough legroom and once a party left, she put two tables together so we would have more room and it was just incredible service! Ambiance: pretty spacious inside and the decor was pretty cool. I would definitely come back to give the pizza another try!

We went for dinner and ordered a large pizza: half Big Kahuna for my husband and half Brooklyn Bridge for my son and me, along with a glass of wine for me and a beer for the boys. We grabbed a table outside on the nice little patio, which made for a perfect evening. Well... my husband immediately started eating my half of the pizza and loved it so much that we ended up ordering another large pie -- yes, another Brooklyn Bridge -- and not a single slice was left by the end of the night. The crust alone deserves recognition: easily one of the best-tasting pizza crusts we've had. I've heard the gelato is top notch, but after the boys demolished two large pizzas, dessert was simply not happening. We'll definitely be back soon to try the New York Bagel Deluxe. The short rib lasagna sounds amazing, too! Service was top notch -- very friendly and welcoming staff -- and it's great that they offer both indoor and patio seating. Highly recommend!

I find it absolutely insane that a FAST-CASUAL restaurant would START THE LOWEST tipping button at 20%. The only thing the staff does for service is bring the food to your table and bus afterwards. You get your own utensils, your own drink and refills, and you order at the counter. The audacity of starting the tipping buttons at 20% for that is insane. It's part of a greedy mindset that turns me off from any fast -casual business that would do this. And that's asking for a minimum of 20% off a fairly expensive meal. I don't blame the restaurant for that. Everything is expensive these days, but I certainly wouldn't call the food a value, just on the expensive side of fair.

Chewy was our pleasant waiter, very friendly and attentive. Fresh cold water when we sat down and a nice short easy menu to peruse and decide from. No frills, no uneasy decisions. Simple greatness is all that's needed. I'm guessing every table gets the Caesar salad, which was a botttomless pile of fresh lettuce, tons of delicately grated smoothe Parmesan cheese, delicate crumbles of breadcrumbs, with an absolutely decadent Caesar dressing - pleasantly spread throughout the whole entire plate of goodness. Next time I will try the fresh loaf of bread sliced thick with a bowl of cherry tomatoes. Whoa that looked great. Every plate that walked by us whispered 'try me' next time!! Saved the salami Calabrese pizza for home directions on the box which provided the most perfect texture for a reheated pizza we've ever had. Delightful! The pizza. The crust. I can't even believe a whole table while we were eating there skipped the crust of the whole pie. You can't! That's a sin! Greatest sourdough pizza, dare I say delicate but hearty?
