Very good pizza This will now replace Lamppost as my go to in Fountain Valley. Owner was nice and personable. Ordered the Supreme Pizza (highly recommend). Nice amount of toppings Cheese was cheesy and fresh. Get it well done and the crust is nice and crispy with a tasty crunch. Not enough punch in the sauce- It wasn't bland- just not enough zest I doused with with red chili pepper flakes and kicked it up a few notches. read more

We were greeted with a warm welcome by the owner. He was super friendly and welcoming. The place looked really clean and smelled like yummy pizza! We had a very good first impression without even trying the food yet and I felt good about our choice. Food: Our heart shaped pizza looked so cute and tasted delicious!! A gem in Huntington Beach off the 405. Came into this family owned spot to satisfy my craving friend meatball sandwich and so glad I did. Their meatballs were fresh with just the right amount of sauce to flavor the bread without getting soggy. I personally like a lot of sauce so I would ask for that on the side but everything about the sandwich was perfection. Including the bread which was hard enough to withstand the meatballs sauce and cheese and yet still had a nice light crisp on the outside. The pizza, cheese sticks and wings are absolutely delicious. The manago habanero was tasty as a mofo and you cant forget the ranch. I used to like the pizza here but I was disappointed that they messed up our "pepperoni pizza". Pepperoni was missing but listed on our receipt and we went back to let them know. There's a diff between when pepperoni is baked in the oven versus slapping on some extra pepperoni that looks uncooked because they messed up our toppings. If you mess up a pizza, remake the whole pizza. Not just cook the toppings and slap it on. Part of a delicious pizza is when the toppings are all baked together Very disappointed in the service read more

My fiancé and I decided to try Calixtos out because ANOTHER restaurant kept messing up our order. We were not disappointed! This place will be our new favorite pizza place. Their cheesy garlic bread was perfect, garlicky, soft in the center with a crispy crust and a great cheese pull. Their pizza was also good, there wasn't too much crust at the end which I personally like because i don't really care for crust, and the bottom of the pizza wasn't too thick and was crispy at the bottom. 10/10 definitely coming back! read more

I just came back from Calixtos and I was floored. Made sure to tell them on my exit "be proud, this is amazing customer service and even more amazing quality food", especially for today's economy of overpriced -everything-. This gem bucks that trend and I encourage everyone and their mother to support this establishment. I had a the creamy carbonara and it was perfect. The 14" slice with pepperoni, mushrooms, and sausage was amazing and the sleeper hit was the garlic bread that came with my plate. Absolutely fluffy texture with a nice crispy bite. I ordered for the first time last night after reading many good reviews. The person who answered the phone was friendly and helpful. I ordered an extra lg half meat lover half supreme. Medium 2 topping a slice of cheesecake and cinnamon Stix. Delivery went alright, I'm in a tricky area. The total with delivery and tip was $90, and it wasn't worth it. The quality is a little better than dominos but not as good as round table. For the same price, I could have got a higher quality at zero zero or burratinos. The cheese cake was gross, and the texture was not appealing. It's definitely the last time I order from here. read more

I HAVE TO REPORT THEM!!! I have to report Calixtos pizza to the food police because wow, wow, wow, the pizza has no right to be so darn delicious, on Father's Day I Oder a supreme pizza (M) the pizza slices were perfect each bite had enough vegetables & meat on it, it's as if they did each slice one by one crafted to projection and made a whole pizza. There was no wait at all I called in the gentleman on the other line said give me 20mins and it shall be ready in 20mins on the dot it was ready. I just found out it is a family owned company, the fact that I've lived in LA, I.E , TN, TX, & now Cali in my whole 32 years of living I can honestly hands down say this is the BEST PIZZA EVER. (I will die on that hill) I would say give them a try I've gone a total of 5 times, and each time the service was great customer service is great, the food out of this world. You won't regret it. 10/10 totally recommend. read more

Best turkey sub I've had in a long time and they don't skimp on the meat (quality meats which you do not find at anywhere else). And there cookies are delicious too. Go big or go home! Giant pizza did not disappoint. The pizza is thin that each bite has that nice crunch but soft enough that you know you are eating some of that yummy pizza dough. Crust is perfect, just need your preferred dipping sauce. Cheese and sauce are perfectly blended and spiced and the ingredients are so fresh. The pineapple has an extra sweet on it and it was just Hawaiian heaven! The supreme was solid because I got to taste a majority of their ingredients and the quality is worth it. I thought I would have leftovers but it was so good that I just stopped thinking of dieting and ate to my hearts desires. Don't think about it, and grab yourself a slice! read more

Randomly went into this place when I was craving pizza and I'm glad I did. It doesn't look like much from the outside driving by but it blew me away. Honestly one of the best local pizza places I've had. They aren't shy about their sizes and the amount of cheese and toppings they put on. Both times I've gone Irwin has taken the time to talk to me and make me feel like a valued client and person. Such a great person and great family owned business. Everyone there is friendly and a joy. I definitely recommend this place if you want a great pizza. Came here after soccer practice for some quick pizza because the reviews were good, and I'm glad we did! We ordered a Greek salad with the house dressing, and the dressing was PHENOMENAL! Made in house by the chef and it was amazing. Stephanie helped us and was so personable and kind. We didn't have any quarters for my daughter to get a toy from the quarter machine and she immediately gave us some for her! We got our daughter the single slice of cheese which she devoured and ordered ourselves a pepperoni pineapple. Crust was thinner than most pies which I enjoy! Cheese pull was picture worthy! Ingredients were all fresh and the pizza was cooked perfectly. All food came out at one time too. So we weren't left with anyone waiting. Found out the business is family owned and we felt like family while we were there! Many people stopped in for what sounded like their regular weekly stop and Stephanie has conversations with everyone. So glad we stopped by and will definitely be adding it to our favorites! I decided to stop by on a whim. Ordered a medium 12" supreme. Total with tax around $20. Took around 20 minutes and I drove home 5 minutes away and pizza was still piping hot. Crust was perfectly crisp and thin and toppings were high quality. I usually buy from First Class pizza close by but the owner there is pretty rude so I'm so glad to have found Cali XTO pizza. Absolutely delicious and I would say just as good as Sargent Peppers Pizza. Restaurant is a small family owned establishment. They are super friendly and service was great. Decent pizza. I like it b/c it's a mom and pop shop. It's family ran. The mom and son doing the cash register were nice ... customer service was on point. I got a Supreme and pepperoni pizza along with a antipasto salad. Love the salad there. It's like danos. Fresh and tasty. I ordered a large supreme and a medium pepperoni pizza but when I got home I discovered the pizzas were both the same size... so I'm not sure if I received 2 larges or 2 mediums? My bf and I found Calixtos by a random search. Third time ordering from this wonderful family owned joint and it does not disappoint by remaining consistent all three times. We love their thinner crust style pizza that stays crispy by the time we get home (~15 m drive). Lasagna is nice and meaty. Food is always ready by their quote time. Thank you guys. The pizza here is AMAZING! I like my pizza on the less doughy side and their pizza is just that. Nice and thin. I first ordered their Supreme pizza and it was so flavorful. The ingredients they use is different compared to Dano's. I was hooked and came back the following week to try their Philly and did not disappoint. You can't go wrong with any pizza here. The waitress from the beginning was super kind. Everyone was super attentive! The food was great, the sauce they have on the table had such great flavor. Pizza was the perfect crunchy, thin pizza for sure but the dough had such grate flavor. The spaghetti was so good as well(my friend prefers her noodle super soft and this place did have them a little more al dente). Muscles they really enjoyed as well, I personally don't like muscles so didn't try them. The ambiance was super chill and very home like. Great music as well!

We spent about $100 on 2 giant Manhattan pizzas, with 4 different speciality toppings so there was something for everyone. Leftovers taste great in the air fryer.
