Maybe I'd like this place more if I was a vegan, but as a regular carnivore, the burger didn't do it for me. I would rather get a burger with Impossible patty at a non-vegan place than ones from here. I got the Mexicali which comes with guacamole, bacon, jalapeño, and chili sauce, and the flavor was rather weak. I didn't taste anything that resembles bacon, and the vegan patty tasted like refried beans. On the other hand, Fish Fillet my wife ordered was pretty good. I came in just before 11am, and just in time to snag the Nice Breakfast burger I'm starting the week off with a cheat meal! But it's a entire vibe; ya know, eating vegan food.. We've come a long way! So.. my taters were cooked perfect and they were nice and crispy, my egg looked like the real deal and had delicious grill marks on it, and the patty was juicy! On a soft bun, it's hard to go wrong! So far, I've tried the following: nice bacon burger, cali burger, mexicali, and the mainlander. Immensely enjoyed each one. The flavor and texture of the "meat" patty is exquisite. My favorite so far has been the mainlander. I'm just a sucker for pineapple and teriyaki sauce. It was executed perfectly. The fries are great along with the chipotle sauce they have. The restaurant that this new location is at used to be a nostalgic place and my family had been going there FOREVER (r.i.p. Fantastics) My mom was less than thrilled about a new vegan spot but I am always down to try out vegan burgers and things. Walking inside, I see some furniture has been kept which put a smile on my face. The owner (im assuming with the tats on his neck) was super sweet and welcoming and gave my little booger a sticker when I picked up my order. I tried the regular cheeseburger (nice burger)) and fish filet. Also ordered fries and sweet potato fries as well as a side of nugs for the toddler. The sandwiches had such good flavor and me craving a fish filet def hit the spot! Next time I would ask to crisp up my fries a little bit as a personal preference. Yes! I went there because I have been craving a delicious " Vegan" burger. Found it! This place and so many options not jut Beyond burger protein. I had the mushroom/ Beyond and it was outstanding! The sweet potato fries were the BEST we have ever had, hands down! We will be returning to try a different plant based protein burger and I bet those will be delicious as well. The staff was really nice and gave great recommendations. They played great music at a very acceptable level so we could still have a conversation. The ambiance could use a little help. Maybe a few neon signs, or fun classic burger joint pictures would add a lot. Food was 10/10. I can't wait to go again and try something different. A friend and I tried Nice Burger for the first time yesterday, based on all the great Yelp reviews. My friend ordered a Mexicali burger combo with tater tots, and I ordered a hot chicken sandwich. The friendly staff informed me that the chicken sandwich can be ordered in any of the burger styles, so I chose the grilled shroom style. The burger was a large one, but the chicken sandwich was huge! I ended up needing utensils, as the sandwich started to disassemble within a few bites. Both of the sandwiches and the tater tots were delicious. Neither my friend nor I regularly drink soda, but we wanted to try the less unhealthy versions here, and they were as yummy as the food. It was a great meal, but the reason for a 4-star review is: the pricing here is high for sandwiches made from Beyond Beef and Gardein products. These days, many fully vegan restaurants make their own meat substitutes for burgers and sandwiches. A Nice Burger sandwich alone is about the same price as a combo meal at a regular burger or chicken sandwich place, and the fact that the "meat" is a brand name product makes the special pricing hard to justify. Incidentally, the meal I had must have been very high in sodium; I was really thirsty for the rest of the day! If you're in the area and looking for vegan food, this is still a great place for a quality meal; just be prepared to pay more than you probably would elsewhere.
