We went with the 5-course Classique menu and paired it with plenty of bubbles. My absolute favorite part was crossing the street to Maria, which is basically cheese heaven. The cheese room was absolutely stunning, and they have an incredible variety of cheeses with jams and other accompaniments for each one. I wanted to stay there forever! Next on my list of favorites was the seabass caviar lemon meringue tart. Pure delight. Everything was served beautifully, exactly what you expect from a restaurant of this caliber, though the reflections from the lighting mean my photos barely do it justice. And of course the Mozart butter man made it even more memorable. He's in a pic. This meal was a full experience from start to finish.

We were greeted promptly and sat outside on this lovely evening. We opted for the 5 course meal and a bottle of JAN red wine. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish with such unique and beautiful flavors! I don't want to spill too much as it is a truly wonderful experience and well deserved Michelin star. Thank you chef Jan for your creativity and your wonderful staff for presenting this unforgettable dining experience for us. I highly recommend anyone visiting Nice to make a reservation here. You will not be disappointed!!

Make reservations ahead of time (it's easy to do online) because this place will fill up for dinner. They have 4 appetizers to choose from, about 5-6 entrees and about 7-8 desserts to choose from, and the prices are reasonable for dinner: 24€ for plat + entree or plat + dessert, and 29€ for the 3 courses. Entrées: - Velouté de topinambour / Jerusalem artichoke soup - This soup was super, super creamy and buttery. I don't want to know how much cream and/or they put in here - it was good, but very rich. There was a piece or two of bacon, and the soup was tasty. - Trilogie de betteraves / Beets cooked three ways - I was looking for something healthier to eat, and was happy this was on the menu. I wasn't sure what to expect with this dish, other than it was beets cooked three ways. There was one little dish of beet salad with green onions or scallions, a small beet poached or roasted, and a beet purée that went well with the bread. I would recommend this appetizer if you want something on the lighter/healthier side and different. Plats: - Risotto with asparagus and tomatoes - My husband ordered this and it was good but not outstanding. He added the 2 pieces of seared foie gras for 5€ which made the dish better; I think it would have been a bit bland without the foie. The asparagus was very fresh and the risotto was on the lighter side which was nice. - Salmon with Cajun seasoning and leeks - This was different than what you'd normally find in a French restaurant since I've never seen Cajun spiced things before. The salmon was a little on the small side, but it was still good and the caramelized leeks on the side were a really perfect compliment. This dish was tasty and really good, but just a bit on the smaller side compared to all the other main dishes that were meat-based (from what I saw other diners getting) We were full so we skipped dessert, but it looked pretty good - they had things like a chocolate lava cake, a praline crème brûlée, spéculos tiramisu, and financier with a passion fruit center. Overall, a good meal that won't break the bank and that has a good selection of things on the menu. More heavier " comfort food " than lighter fare, and slightly less traditional French. The ambiance was very casual - it almost felt like you were eating in a graffiti park with dim lighting and metal walls, but overall, we had a decent meal at a reasonable price. The waiters here all spoke English well and it seemed most of the clientele were tourists.

Pearl Beach is one of the very few beach clubs in St Tropez itself, most are a few kilometers away…read moreover in Ramatuelle. I went here with 3 friends for dinner and sunset cocktails. Pearl Beach is a trendy spot that feels like you're entering a swank Balinese style lounge. The lighting and various water features add to its allure. We were lucky and got to eat on the beach itself. There is something special about being able to dine al fresco on the sand underneath a starry night staring at the endless parade of mega yachts. We opted for the 3 course menus. At €75 / person this isn't cheap, but for St Tropez it isn't outlandish. For my starter I had the assortment of asian delights...deep fried spring roll, samosa, and shrimp. The shrimp was the highlight here as the samosa and spring roll were a bit overly greasy. For the main, I had the duck which was prepared many ways and included quite a bit of foie gras. This was followed by a delicious warm molten cake. That said, my friend's assortment of little desserts was clearly the way to go, as you got to try about 1/2 dozen delights. Pearl Beach is a great spot, about a 10 minute walk from the main port of St Tropez...a bit removed form most of the "scene" but that makes for a relaxing dinner. We didn't come during the day, but it looks to be like a fairly upscale beach club. The beaches are nicer in Ramatuelle though.
