Given the complexity of this job, I wanted to make sure it was done right. Communication was excellent. Mauro was able to come by for an estimate within a few days, and from there, his office crew helped me plan and schedule the work. Additionally, they handled the permit and inspection coordination. They were able to schedule the work within two weeks, which was fine given that this wasn't an emergency. For this gas to heat pump conversion, it was necessary to vent both the intake and exhaust. This presents a number of challenges like making vent holes, running ducts, and making sure everything is air tight. Jose and his team were absolutely awesome. They take pride in their work. The team is friendly and patient, and takes the time to break down what they're doing and why, as well as any hiccups and adjustments that have to be made. I cannot tell you how great it is to have a professional you can trust, who also respects you and your property. This was a complex job and they made it look great, fit the space, and work as needed. A plumber isn't something you hope you need very often, but should anything come up, I'll definitely be calling Mauro's Plumbing again.

This young man was very kind, polite and most of all knowledgeable of any kind of plumbing problem. He sent me the description and invoice of the work done. The job was done on schedule and at a very fair price. I highly recommend this company for plumbing and also for HVAC. Albert Nahman installed our Heating/cooling system 9 years ago when we first bought our house and…read morethey were awesome then. Today, I experienced the "new" Albert nahman post-acqusition. Although the timeliness and service I received was good, it was expensive and the "process" left a bad taste in my mouth. My Carrier system started sending me warning messages about a motor issue for the furnace in the afternoon. Albert Nahman was able to send someone first thing in the AM. Within 30mins they were able to confirm that I needed a new motor. This is where the "upsell" started. First, they noted that I don't have a "membership". membership would give me a 15% discount on the needed fix (the fix was ~$3.5M so the discount was chunky). Second, they noted that if I don't have a membership, I may not get the last of the motor that's in inventory nor get the fix scheduled within the day (fix might not happen this week) . which is a lot of words for "pay to play" .... in other words, if I didn't pay for the membership I wasn't going to get my furnace fixed today. This felt sooooooooo icky. why make the poor service guy act like a friggin scam artist instead of letting them do what they're best at, install and fix things! What does the membership do? it gives you an annual maintenance checkup and 15% discount on services/purchases. The checkup doesn't cover actual service, just checking to make sure that things are working (which of course translate to a potential service call!). So if they're marking up all their services/purchases by 15% to sell membership, then "membership" is just free money for AN to extort out of potential clients who are very likely in a difficult situation (unlikely to call unless it's an emergency like the heater is not working when it's cold!). While AN got my system fixed today.... I'm not going to trust AN going forward but will start looking for alternatives to support our annual checkup/maintenance of our heater/cooling systems

Recently one of his crew fixed a multi spray shower head issue in under 5 min including disassembling, removing particles inhibiting proper flow and reassembly saving me over $100. He wasn't able to return with the needed parts in time to complete the job on that Friday, so he came out Saturday morning to finish the work. He was able to carefully extract the old (VERY old!) shower valve through a smallish hole, and install the new gear, so we didn't have to re-tile any of the shower enclosure. My only quibble is that he wasn't very transparent about how much of his quote was for parts vs the labor, so it was not easy to consider upgrading from a Delta valve to a different make. Overall, I'll definitely call him again when I need a plumber.

We discovered this issue as we were replacing the caulking to our bath tub. We told him numerous times that we had just removed the caulking. During his "inspection" he started running the water from our shower head but then he proceeded to point the shower head straight on the crevice where there is no longer caulking and say "see this is the issue!" Now there is a ton of water behind our wall in even more places then we had originally. He's a terrible communicator, constantly was interrupting, and couldn't articulate any of his reasons for anything. He was just guessing at what the issues were and hoping we would agree to start opening things up so we'd have to pay him. We were better off not having him show up at all.
